I brought my Subaru in for an oil change and they were prompt, professional, and did a great job. I had questions about my next major maintenance, and they do a comprehensive vehicle inspection along with the oil change. They gave me a full report including photos of the condition of my car and items that their techs found. I got a cost estimate for my upcoming 60k service which is great. Great, trustworthy mechanics seem impossible to find, but I finally found one here! Jimmy, the owner, is an honest businessman who takes great pride in his shop and does right by his customers. We took my 86 year old dad's car here because the dealership was gouging him for labor costs, and Ron, our account rep was extremely helpful and communicative. He took our concerns into consideration and was flexible with us on what we needed to get fixed right away and what could wait, since the repairs were costly. He explained everything every step of the way. We had one small miscommunication and Ron took full ownership of it immediately, even though he didn't have to, and he and Jimmy made sure everything was right and that we were satisfied. SHORT VERSION brought them a car to do a full inspection. they missed big issues that costed me over $3K that the dealer could have fixed. they missed a broken water pump they missed a drive train issue that would have been heard by driving the car for any amount of time. they missed coil over issue which makes the car bottom out. this place is a joke and a half. either 1, they have a relationship with the dealer and knowing hide these issues, which i am looking to take them to court for. or 2, these guys just dont know what they are doing at all. the guys are nice and really cool to talk to but they are garbage at inspections. LONGER VERSION I was buying a car from a dealer that was rebuilt and brought them my car to have a full inspection done on the car. i knew what trouble a rebuilt car could bring and which is why i wanted to pay for an inspection to know the issues and if everything was truly fixed. they assured me they knew Subaru's and would be able to find out any issues, if their were any. COME TO FIND OUT THIS SHOP WORKS WITH THE DEALER I WAS WORKING WITH. after the inspection they showed me things with the car that were in their eyes issues. the first thing they pointed out were pinched in control arms ( later finding out that is just the shape of them) they showed me a rusted bumper frame in the front of the car. they showed me nothing that was any big issue they made me feel very comfortable even when i pushed back on the point there is nothing wrong with this car. its worth purchasing the tech that was inspecting the car said he would buy this car is was in such great shape for being a rebuilt i take the shops findings to the dealer and the dealer agrees to fix the issues i brought to them. after 2 days of driving it i took it to subaru and paid for another inspection due to a noise i was hearing even during the test drive. and that is when Subaru brought to my attention the issues that pro imports missed! read more

Been going to Jimmy's shop since '08 and he and his team been nothing but great. I get my family's 5 cars serviced there and recommend to everyone I value as well. Last work his team did for me was to install a hitch receiver on my 2018 Honda Accord. The work was excellent. Bumper cover had to be removed to install the hitch but they did a great job. Bumper looks like it has never been disturbed and the hitch is so discreet. Some people online said the bumper might need to be cut to accommodate hitch but his team was able to avoid any cutting. I requested several different fluid flushes and they got me in and out of there quicker than expected. Friendly staff (Ron), fair prices, and they didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need. I brought my 240sx to be worked on and Jimmy (owner) and his partner Dennis has been nothing but professional and reliable during some chaotic times. Jimmy, has been a man of his word when it came to getting my car repaired and in working condition. I had MANY idling and electrical issues with my car as it was giving me a check engine light and was not giving me the power needed when accelerating. They have replaced my front fender, painted, detailed, and replaced my corner light and radio bezel. This shop and the team that works there are passionate about there work and there craft. One can clearly see how much there team loves cars and value there customers as family. There craftmanship and there actions towards making a customer satisfied is above and beyond my expectations. I've had some bad experiences in the past with previous auto shops, breaking ones bank. If I could a zero I would . Very nice friendly people at first. But when a problem occurs all he'll broke loose. Wanted to keep it short description but theres so much and much more bad I am leaving out. Overall 1 experience. Because they tried, but the manager throwing towards me on the front counter, and asking me to leave was very unprofessional and bad. I was calm polite expressing the situation to him and what I'm about to tell you...you wouldn't trust them after what we've been put through, no way. Took my wife's car in to diagnose and fix all the problems she was having with her vehicle. She spoke with the owner of the shop via google messaging. He gave us a quote on total cost of dianotistics etc. Very polite. However, they partially fixed the problem. I dont know, about you but I would like a permanently fixed 100% . Not anything else. Which we paid for them to do. They were stumped of what the actual problem was since there was 2 different problems one with cooling and other with forced injection. By the way, the turbo charger was fully operational and working perfectly fine no damages whatsoever before bringing in the vehicle to them. So, not truly knowing what they actually fixed and did. Just going based off their word. They said the car was completed and done. They fixed the car that' same day. Great! Follow up: within 24hours check engine light popped backup same error code but the over heating stopped great. But now still the problem with the issue with the other issue. They stated bring the car back in and we take care of it. But it was too late we drove the car around not knowing and causing more damaged to the vehcile . They're fully responsible and liable for internal damages to our vehicle and they won't admit fault nor fix they damage turbo we have now and who knows what other issues the car may have now, since this problem wasn't corrected in the first place. We now have a very exspensive paper weight sitting in front of our house for weeks and my wife doesn't have a vehicle to drive , for herself nor take the kids to school activities etc. Don't go here, very nice people. But they might not fully fix your problem with your car and cause major damage to it, and won't accept nor take ownership of it. Nor fix or remedy damages to further of the vehcile they have caused due to, not fully fixing the problem 100% in the first place. Instead they chose to guess and guessing got us where we are now. Without a vehicle, and thousands of dollars of damages to our vehicle. Find a better place. I know they have great reviews. But again they're nice friendly talkers , but not great mechanics. If rather have a grumpy person speaking with me, and actually fix my problems with my vehcile, so my wife and family can enjoy life and not have to deal with the hear starting off so horrible, which they put us throguh and our well maintained vehcile we've cherished and taken care of for years. I have had a terrible time finding a local company that would provide honest service for my Lexus ES350 in the Denver area. Toy Doctor is a rip-off company that will recommend numerous repairs for everybody who walks through the doors. TOYEXUS could potentially be honest except every time i had service, little new things would show up afterward. Pro Import is extremely honest! Sir please don't lie. I never wrote a review in August 2020... and I would have no reason to delete it if I did. I didn't fail to do anything! Dennis failed to tell ME all of what they were doing, and made it seem as if I was paying for EVERYTHING wrong to be fixed. It wasn't until the end of the day AFTER I paid that he says "Oh yea the check engine light might come back on because there's still something wrong" I would have NEVER paid your rip off company in the first place if I knew you guys were gonna do a half ass job and charge me an arm an a leg for it. I've asked plenty of mechanics, and they all said your company ripped me off. My car didn't have a problem starting... as I already stated. It was until after the mechanic supposedly fixed it and I got in to leave, but couldn't. You clearly weren't present. And I wasn't offered lunch I was offered breakfast early in the morning,,, BEFORE your mechanics even began working on my car. They wanted burritos! Get your facts straight. read more

The saying, "you get what you pay for" is never more apparent than I experienced today. I was hopefully optimistic from the solid reviews of Pro Imports that I would be safe purchasing the Groupon they participated in. Unfortunately, catching a deal apparently offers lack luster workmanship. What is worse is the Groupon specifically states on the paperwork to tip off the original listed price which I was prepared to do. I even asked the gentleman in the front how much the original price was to be sure and have the proper amount upon returning to the store. Naturally I had to inspect my car first to ensure proper work had been performed. I bought the Gold detailing packages. It included, wash and wax, steam clean engine and dress, wheels and tires, leather conditioning, doors and door jams, and 'speed polish' (as listed on the receipt). I chose this option specifically for the engine clean which they did a good job on. However, the speed polish left swirls and marring on the exterior paint. The rails on the top of my vehicle has the remains of polish on them which indicates Pro Imports did not mask them. Also, there are several places on the car where there is dried wax that I am going to have to scrap away. The real issue is the marring. Marring looks like a millions of little tick marks in the paint that are in a swirl pattern from a rotary buffer. Two indicators of using a rotary buffer is the wax splattering left on the vehicle and the micro-marring. My vehicle is black, so the appearance of marring stands out like a black eye in the sun. Do I believe this shop is incapable of good service. Absolutely not. I believe they probably do perform better workmanship when full dollar amount is paid. What I suggest is for the company to advertise via radio etc rather than offer a Groupon in which their employees will provide substandard workmanship. The gentleman in the front was also polite, but I am afraid due to the expression on my face when I asked of the work provided he was a little embarrassed. Embarrassment leads to questionable responses. I offer warning to those who have purchased the Groupon. II've posted the pictures of the marring they did to my vehicle. ****I had posted pictures, but I believe Pro Imports petitioned to have them removed because Yelp emailed me that they took the pictures down as being destructive to the business. If they had done quality work I would have posted those, and I'm sure those pictures would have been left up. Hey Pro Imports, if you don't want negative publicity, take pride in your work, train your employees appropriately, and stand behind your service. read more

I was looking for an alternative to an Acura dealership to troubleshoot two problems with a 2008 TL: a fluid leak under the engine and a short somewhere in the electrical system that was draining my car battery. I found Pro Import on Yelp, and one thing that stood out was their "woman friendly" claim. That's a tall order and I figured if it wasn't genuine there would be reviews to that effect. I found just the opposite, so I gave them a chance. I liked their methodical approach. The troubleshooting fell into their standard $145 diagnostic charge--this was posted with the kinds of situations it covered, right behind the desk. They called me a few hours after dropping the car off and found the cause of the short (Bluetooth appliance), and had an educated guess on the fluid leak (power steering pump). I liked that they explained their thinking clearly. I gave the ok to address both issues as they recommended. They power washed the engine so in a few hundred miles they'll take another look and confirm the fluid leak is fixed. There was not easier way to figure that out. They made the repairs in short order. Also replaced the drive belt which they noticed was in bad shape. They even located and entered the sound system theft ID, which I was anticipating doing the moment I got in the car. Nice touch on the belt and the code! I was impressed overall and have recommended them to a few friends already. read more

We have taken in a couple vehicles multiple times and they have never tried to do unwarranted work to pad their fees. I trust them when they tell me something needs to be done because I double check everything. I am also "thrifty" (meaning I'm ridiculously cheap, but thrifty sounded a little better). "Honest, efficient, & good quality" Looking for a good place to service your car is tough, looking for a good place that's also honest is even tougher. As I'm from out of town, I started freaking out once my car light came on saying I needed an oil change. Came here on the recommendation of my cousin and was very pleased with the service. They were upfront with me about what they were going to do from the beginning, and didn't try to push me into paying for unnecessary, extra work. I have been going here for a few years for service because they are far better priced then the dealership. The dealership wanted to charge 350.00 for a new boot on the CV joint and made it sound like it had to be done right away (this was the price just for the boot, more if they had to replace the joint). I had my car checked by Pro Import and they said it was fine for now the hole in my boot was very small. When the time does come to replace the boot they do the entire CV assembly with factory parts. And it would have been about better priced for the whole assembly then just the boot from the dealership. read more

I just found an auto repair shop for life! When does it ever happen when a repair shop is able to make such a quick fix that they don't feel it's right to charge? That's exactly what happened. They were able to make a fix to my Nissan Pathfinder in about 15 minutes and then said, "don't worry about it, it's on the shop this time" WOW!! Steve is the owner and a good dude. My Dad found these guys about a year ago, when I was buying my first car (used). I took it here to have them inspect it to see if there were any imminent problems that I should expect, also the condition of the car when I bought it. I have been helped mostly by Steve, who I think is the owner and he has been nothing but helpful, kind, and informative. They did a fantastic job of inspecting every little detail of the car and also gave me a full very detailed review of what they found. As far as pricing goes they are more than reasonable. It seems like a family run business that is focused on building an ongoing relationship with their customers. I saved SO much money taking my Nissan Xterra to Pro Imports, when the Nissan Dealership was going to charge me upward of a couple thousand. You can just tell the people at Pro Imports care about the work they do and the people they serve. I will always recommend them to ANYONE who is looking for a better place for car repair.
