We recently got my car serviced here. I called and TJ answered. We were able to get an appointment for a diagnostic the next day. I loved that they have a 24/7 drop box and we were able to drop my car the night before that was helpful in terms of not having to worry about my car in the morning. From the time they opened to when they called us (or really my husband) it was a few hours. We were able to decline or approve what work would be done on the car. My car needed a lot of work. And we opted to get some stuff done as well since my car is almost at 100,000 miles. They said it would take a few days since they had to order parts. It was completed quicker than I had thought. We were able to pay the invoice online and pick up our car after hours. A few days later, we noticed something was leaking in my car. We took the car back. And since it was covered under warranty they were able to fix it. Thank you for fixing my car absolutely quickly. And it's running a lot better. Everyone here was so friendly. read more

I was in a vulnerable position at Pro Auto Care this May. My car had been smoking out of the hood and I did not know what was wrong with it. Pro Auto Care experts recommended to scrap my car instead of trying to repair it. Pro Auto Care then connected me with A1 Auto Recycling. I gave the car to A1 Auto Recycling with the promise that the car parts would go to the community and then all the oils and metals leftover would be properly processed. There is some evidence that Pro Auto Care knew my car was in relatively good shape, since I saw my car for sale on Marketplace shortly after I gave it to A1 Recycling. Turns out, A1 Recycling gave my car to their nephew, Angel Hernandez. Angel told me "we fixed some details, nothing big." He then listed the car for sale on Marketplace. Needless to say, I wish Pro Auto Care had been more honest with me. It's my fault for not taking the car in for a second opinion. I am not sure if there was more to this story and the two companies weren't working together to make money off me. read more

Man, I honestly do not know what the bad reviews on this place are about. Everyone here, especially Briggs, has been absolutely terrific to work with. I knew what the issue was when I brought in my vehicle as well as what parts/services needed to be handled in regards to maintenance. Not once did they try to sell me something I didn't need. On top of that, they even told me about parts/services that could be addressed but likely could wait since I don't drive my car often. All in all, its been a great experience. 5/5 *Also, a lot of these bad reviews got responses from the owner of the company. Their information was never found in the Pro Auto Care system so I'm not sure what they're complaining about if they've never been here. We took our always garaged California suburban to John Elway Chevrolet for a simple oil change and new battery. The truck has never leaked a drop of oil. It came back from Elway bleeding oil. John Elway was like...oh, well its and old truck and they leak...well not until you touched it! And, they wanted $250.00 to see where the leak was coming from! Took it over to Pro Auto Care where our son takes his cars and they were amazing. They inspected it, tightened the drain plug and boom.....good as new. No leaks! Imagine that! and the total charge for that inspection was $60.00 Five giant stars for Pro Auto Care. I will be sure we take anything we have in Colorado back to Pro Auto Care. They should be good about mechanic service but Front desk wasn't enough kind. I contacted them on Yelp and asked to have inspection. Owner was responsing really fast but even he didn't tell me they asked to charge $99 for inspection. Only thing he told me was %15 off for Yelp members. I would pay if he told me that and front desk was enough kind. I had drove 30min from where I live. If they ask for same price you should prefer other mechanics. Brought my car in for an oil change and tire have a tire that was losing air looked at. They did an inspection, said the tire in question they couldn't find any issues with or leaks, but the back tires and back brakes needed to be replaced. I had all that done. Continued to have issues with the tire, and then the brakes started making noise. I took it to a different place about 2 weeks later. They immediately found a nail in the tire, said it would have been hard to miss. They also said the front brake had gone metal to metal. Not sure how Pro Auto Care missed all of this, but was able to tell the back brakes and tires needed replacing. The repair is going to be much more expensive than if they had caught it when I was in, two weeks prior, after I specifically called attention to that part of the car. Will not go back. read more

I brought my Toyota pickup in to get the carburetor looked at. I pulled in and opened up my hood and showed them I also need my fuel pump changed out because it was leaking gas. I showed them the leak. They said it would be $150 for diagnostic charge to look at the carburetor. Next morning they called me and said they could not look at the carburetor until I got the fuel pump fixed. They said $777 to replace the fuel pump. I said how much is the part? They said $200. I hung up the phone. Called Toyota dealership and they had an oem fuel pump for $99. I bought the pump and went to get my Truck. They said I needed to pay $150 if I wanted my Truck. I PAID THEM FOR NO WORK DONE. Took my truck and I put in the fuel pump myself. 2 bolts and took me 20min. This place is a rip off. I am out $150 for nothing. read more

I had my first experience with Pro-Auto Care in July 2013 when I took my 2008 Honda in -- or, rather, my ex-BF did -- for an oil change and a brakes check. My concerns were confirmed and the car needed new brakes. I instructed the BF to take the car to Pro-Auto after hearing good things (on the Troubleshooter show) and reading positive reviews. I didn't interact with the shop directly, but the work was done in a timely manner. Cut to sixteen months later (sorry Dad) and my oil light was on. Yes, I'm an idiot. I had received a mailer from PAC with several coupons, so I made an appointment for Black Friday (apropos, since I'm certain whatever oil was left in my car was black) to use the $49.95 Old Man Winter coupon. Oil change, check tires, wipers, fluids, etc. Well, I paid (more than $49.95) for that sixteen-month interval between oil changes, and I'm fortunate that the damage wasn't worse than it was (Sorry again Dad). The tech strongly recommended a flush and compression, since the thing was apparently almost out of oil. (Who knew oil was so important?) So, my Black Friday was pricier than I had planned, but the coupon still saved me about $40 on the whole situation. (Note to fellow Yelpers: check in on Yelp and get a 10% discount on that visit, or save it for the next visit!) The staff is nice, friendly and informative, and the waiting room is comfortable -- two TVs, free coffee and bottled water, a basket of Dum-Dums and some cool free pens (seriously, I love free pens!). My issue was never resolved. Never heard from anyone, didn't even get a response on my review like many other customers have on Yelp. Seeing the negative reviews that have happened since then doesn't surprise me at all. I have seen quite a few reviews mention that it must be commission based sales, and I'd definitely believe that, it does make perfect sense. Take Anthony for example. He totally reminds me of a salesman the way he interacts with customers and the fake voice he uses. Then once the sale is complete and the work starts, he disappears and doesn't contact the customer or keep them updated, because that doesn't make him any more money. I took my vehicle in for an estimate and I was told that there was work needed to be performed on my vehicle that wasn't necessary as when I had the car taken to a different shop I was told not one of the things suggested to me were needed! This is the only place I trust to do work on my 2007 element. Excellent work that's always explained in detail, fair prices and no bs. I won't take my car elsewhere bc I know I'm getting the best value here. One example: When I got a bad oil change from the Colfax grease monkey, they stripped the pans threading and caused a lot of damage, I asked for help and the owner at PAC made it right for me - it wasn't even their mistake. I initially thought it was, but thats another story. They fixed it at a discounted price and gave me a free oil change. Pro auto care's customer support is above the rest and I'm a fan for life now. Only downside is they're closed on weekends. I've been coming here for about 10 years now and that won't change. read more

This is auto service by people who care. They give you honest advice and ensure service you can count on. The guys are super awesome and very knowledgeable. I love that their inspection includes pictures of your vehicle so you get to see for yourself what issues are presenting. Unlike other auto repair shops where you have to take their word for it and hope it's legitimate. You see what they looked at and they give you timelines on how urgently something needs to be taken care of. They want you safely on the road above all. As a woman, it's important that I feel comfortable, safe, and able to trust that I am getting quality service without unnecessary fees. I get that here. They know me by name when I walk in the door because they build relationships with customers who stick around! I was recommended by a long time customer of theirs. I was going to have the work done, but I just didn't feel comfortable with the quote being so high. I got several quotes, and glad I did. I had to drive back and get them to fix it. They did fix the issue but still unacceptable. I value honesty and professionalism. Chris (and Adam who I've worked with before) have treated me very professionally. They explain things and make me feel at ease taking my vehicle in for repairs. Now for some actual constructive feedback which I do NOT want to be taken as whining, complaining or passive aggression... I spent over $2,100 on repairs when the initial repair was only $55 (for a Subaru heat shield noise). The heat shield noise, although about 85% gone, still remains by about 15%. I can still hear the noise buzzing occasionally at lower speeds even though I paid to have it fixed. If it was possible that the noise was partially going to remain, it should have been communicated to me so I could anticipate some noise. When I dropped my car off, I had placed a baggy containing a few small car parts in the front seat which were left under the hood of my car from the last, very recent visit to Pro Auto Care. I placed the baggy on the seat and mentioned the pieces were left sitting under the hood of my car. The parts remain in the baggy on the seat of my car, untouched. I have no idea what they belong to and they do not look too important but I am not in the auto repair business. AFTER Chris ran my credit card for payment, he handed me my rear passenger side hub cap and told me that no one could figure out how to put it back on. He said I should take it to whoever works on my tires to have them figure it out and put the hub cap back on. So for over $2,100, no one in the shop can figure out how to put a hub cap back on or google it... or youtube it or research it in any other way. As my boss at my job would say under similar circumstances, "figure it out. Look it up online if you need to". So I left the shop minus $2,100, hub cap in hand. The dirty hand smears and grim on the interior of my car left over from the mechanics, I can live with. It's a simple trip to the car wash yet I've noticed that this has happened twice now. Overall, I'd say you guys do pretty darn good work. Just tighten the customer service up a bit and try not to give parts back to customers telling them to figure it out because you can't. read more

BEWARE!!! This was a nightmare! !! ... 4 MONTHS later...... the faulty work done by pro care auto was partially warranteed. After my initial negavtive experience at Pro Care Auto. I had dozens of conversations with Many about resolving the problems related to my visit. Although I never received the reimbursement checks that I was told were sent to me twice, Mannys' diligence paid off by direct refund to my credit card for some of the issues I had. I don't know why this wasn't done in the first place. The president of the company (Al Oramass) CLAIMS he didnt receive my letter sent directly to him about my negative experience and that there was no record of the service done to my vehicle. I assure you, there is something deceptive going on. I called him after he tried to cover his reputation on yelp and reach out to me. I left a message with my contact information on his voice mail and still havent heard a peep. Which, once again, shows his negligence and lack of customer care from the President of the company. In summary, Manny redeemed himself by making an effort over 4 months time to resolve the conflict. But I will never go, nor recommend this auto shop for any kind of service ever. I still had to pay the shop that did the warranty repair for diagnistics that pro care autos' warranty company wouldn't cover. PS. I don't call me "buddy".... read more

So I've been driving around with poor brakes for a while. When I needed to slow down, I would just down shift until I came to a stop. The recent snow storm though woke me up as I couldn't slow down anymore, and I was gliding through stop signs... not good. I came on here to yelp, and read some fantastic reviews. I probably would have received a better deal if I had signed up for their coupons, but I still feel I got a smoking deal on some new brakes. It took about 2 hours of waiting around to get them changed. They do offer a courtesy shuttle service, but I didn't feel it was necessary to leave and come back so quickly. The bonus of my whole visit was that they checked out my car to find other problems. They noticed that my battery was totally gone, and this could have caused me some problems getting to work on time. They only sell premium batteries, so I opted to hit up auto zone and do it myself for half the cost. I did appreciate that they tested it though. read more

I purchased a used car in January, and have had to have a few repairs on it. Pro Auto Care has been helpful in letting me know exactly what needs to be worked on and what order I should take care of the problems. The service is friendly. The only complaint I have is timing - my first trip there, they told me it'd be about an hour, and 2 hours later, I was still sitting in the waiting room. The second time I visited, I let them know that I truly could not wait longer than an hour and they were able to get me in and out (for headlights) within 45 minutes. read more
