Worst Possible Customer Experience EVER! (Aug. 14, 2025) I ordered my tires from Walmart via their very own website. I also made my appointment for installation at Walmart Store #03566 (9400 E Hampden Ave, Denver, CO 80231) to occur the day after the tires were delivered. I received an automated email from Walmart when the tires were shipped and again when they were delivered. I took a half-day off from work to go to the appointment, driving 18 miles to get there. I checked my email multiple times before the drive. Like a good customer, I arrived a half-hour early. I walked up to the desk to a snarky young man in an L.A. Dodgers baseball cap. As soon as I gave him my name, he said, "Yeah...your appointment was cancelled." He said the tires had not been delivered. Knowing that my tires had been delivered, I stood my ground. He reluctantly wandered away and came back saying that they were there, but my appointment was still cancelled, and there was nothing I could do about it. I was furious and did not allow him to push me around. I had to go "full Karen" on him, demanding to talk to his manager. Eventually, another young man came out. He did not introduce himself as the manager until I asked if he was. (In fact, NOT ONE EMPLOYEE IN THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT WAS WEARING A NAME TAG.) The "manager" was very conciliatory and made sure that my new tires were installed in a hurry. I lingered in the waiting area in clear view of the service desk. Eventually, a technician told me that my car had been ready for a while. I went to the service desk, where a female cashier did the entire transaction without speaking one word to me. And the RETALIATION went further ... They saw that I am disabled, use a mobility device, and have disabled plates on my car. So they moved my car to a spot about a thousand feet from the bays. I demanded that they bring it to me. I checked the tires, and they all looked good until I ran the TPMS monitor from my steering wheel. THEY DID NOT RESET IT. So I pulled out the book and followed the instructions to RESET IT MYSELF. The tire pressure on all four tires is all over the place - 36 PSI on one, 27 on another, etc, not in line with the recommendation on the door sticker placed there by GM. Now I must take it elsewhere to get my tire pressures to the proper level. (BTW - the "manager" declares that the appointment was cancelled by the computer at the corporate level, and they do it all the time. I watched as they dismissed other single female customers with the same "your appointment had been cancelled" story.) read more

Had me waiting 40 minutes just to tell me they couldn't do an oil change on my 2018 Audi Q7. Ended up leaving with no time to get another oil change at a different company. read more

I went in to have the tires I ordered install on my car. When I arrived I was told the air compressor broke the day before and should be fixed later in the day. They should have called and told their appointments. When I asked if they could call me when it was fixed the tech just stared at me. I asked to reschedule and I was told to go online. When I went online all I could do was delete my appointment. When I called the store I was told again to go online. After I insisted on making the appointment a new appointment was made. The staff should have called all the appointments that the machine was down and offered to call and schedule that same day when it was up and running. Now I have to wait until next week. read more

I'm sitting here at the Neosho Missouri Walmart looking at the empty garage, and my truck is just sitting outside waiting and waiting. I asked and was told my truck was on rack number 8. It is not, it is sitting outside waiting The last time tire swap took 3 hours. This time is looking no less than 2 hours. A huge FU Walmart tire and lube. read more

Just had the absolute worst experience at this Walmart car center. Dropped off my car at 5:00 when I had an appointment, was told it would be done in an hour and a half. Received a call 45 minutes later that they needed me to reschedule my appointment because they accidentally canceled it, trying to convince me to do it in the morning and I was like no I had an appointment for tonight you guys need to do it tonight. Then received a call another 45 minutes later that he can't do the tires alone "because they are too big" and needs me to come pick up the car and come back in the morning. I came back to pick my car up, and there was someone else there (meaning he lied that he was there alone). Walmart needs to fix their scheduling service so that you can't schedule after 5 because the employees will just lie to not have to work. first they told me they closed at six when they were trying to get me to not get my service, then eight when they wanted me to come pick it up that night. read more

Had an appointment at 10am and was finished with at 11:10! Total for four new tires plus installation only cost me $275, would totally recommend. read more

Waited 5 hours just for them to tell us they couldn't untighten filter to change it . Gave us a notification there was a hole and to call. Called ten times and they didn't answer so we went in person and they said they cancelled it and they can't do it because they couldn't remove filter even though they are the ones who put in the last filter which means they tightened it too much and then couldn't untighten what they literally did. Rude people and very unprofessional and lazy. read more

If you're thinking of coming here for any service. JUST DONT. Save yourself the time and hassle. Even if you show up at the opening time, it takes 5 hours for an oil change, & if you need your tire plugged etc- they will either forget that you need that service done (and park your car in the parking lot so they can service other vehicles in line) or most likely take all day long doing something so simple. I come to Walmart because it's affordable but this will be the last time. read more

Husband showed up before they opened. Told it would be an hour and a half. Two and a half hours later and were still waiting. We keep getting told the car before us is almost done but almost apparently has a 2 hour gap. We're stuck because he has a nail in his tire and it's Sunday. Would have been nice if they had some follow through. Update: he's now been there 4 hours and they just put his car on the rack. No discount, no apologies, no update until he lost his cool. Apparently only one guy there knows how's to change tires and has several jobs. I'm sorry, but my husband was the only one actually there waiting. You get the ones in clinic out first than those with cars that have alternative arrangements. read more

So approaching 4hrs of waiting around for my tires. I was here a little before 8am and its 12 and still waiting. There was 1 car ahead of me when I got here and some how I was put at in the back of the line that was several cars deep. I will never use Walmart for anything auto related again. What a joke. We went in thinking it would be half an hour, an hour tops for just an oil change. We stood in line for 15minutes with not ONE employee around. Pressed the call button 4 times (one for each additional person that added to the line). We waited for two hours before our car was even looked at....this is probably the worst location I've ever been to. I watched a former employee finish an oil change by himself in 15mins (including building his new wheeled board to lay on under the car). The wait was ridiculous. Go somewhere else. read more

Worst Walmart auto center I've been to. Every time I go here they tell me an hour wait for whatever I need done with my car and it's always goes 2 hours or more. Today I came in for them to look at one of my tires they did not put on correctly, and I came it at 12:30pm. I did not get my car back until after 4pm. When I came in they told me 1.5-2 hours and it's been far over that. Claiming that "oh your car will be the next one in" and more and more cars come in before mine. And then they tell me there's nothing wrong with it even though it loses air everyday and the air pressure was 10 last night. Unacceptable. Worst customer service I have experienced at a Walmart auto care center and will not be recommending or coming back to this location. read more

I came to Walmart to get my oil change at 5 pm (they close at 7 pm). There was a customer served in front of me by very slow employee. After 10 min, I came to the register, and he said he just registered the last car for today. Never come back for such a great customer service. read more

Went to get my oil changed. Was told an obscene time (2.5 hours) that I needed to wait to get my car back. Dip stick was apparently is broken which I didn't know because I wasn't told the last time i had gotten my oil changed. They tell me that they cant do the oil change. So I wasted my time for nothing when you could still get the dip stick out with some pliers (it is not hard). How is it that every other company under the sun can be inventive and do the oil change but something as simple as a dipstick handle being broken paralyzes walmart? This is why I don't shop at walmart. The woman had ZERO customer service (which once again I don't know what I expected going to a trash company and the people that work there look like trash), and told me in a condescending way that if Grease Monkey and other places don't have an issue doing it then I am MORE THAN ABLE to go there. Best believe I did and oh, they WERE able to do the oil change, their customer service was ASTRONOMICALLY better and I was in and out in less than a half hour. F*CK walmart. F*ck that b!tc* and I will NEVER be back. If I could give it LESS THAN ONE STAR I WOULD. The worst customer service I have EVER gotten at an automotive place. If you are looking for the spot to WASTE YOUR PRECIOUS TIME AND GET MISTREATED THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO! Oh an being that this place is sooooo shitty I would be skeptical of the 5 star reviews.
