We put our drink order in and I assumed they had no kids menu since it wasn't listed on the menu I was given. I order my 4 year old a $15 order of chicken fingers and fries only to find out they do have a kids menu and we just weren't offered one. no offer was made to reduce the order of chicken tenders to a kids size. I got a fish sandwich and it was the driest almost hollow piece of fish I've ever had in my life. The bun looked like it had been in the freezer for a good six months and then served to me. Everything was burnt and hollow from the chicken tenders to the pieces of fish to the mozzarella cheese sticks empty because they were so burnt and so overcooked. I really wanted to like this place because it's close to us and we need more local restaurants in our area, but I will never go back.$60 for this! No thank you.

I was getting carry out but I had a glass of Roscato wine while I was waiting and then had a few slices of the pizza also before I left. I ordered the tavern style pizza and got it half and half. The hubby likes the meat and I prefer the veggies. I ordered half Veggie Deluxe which came with peppers, mushrooms, onion, garlic, and black olives. The other half was the Cincy Supreme (hubby's side) and it had pepperoni, sausage, onion, mushrooms, and green olives. The tavern style pizza was super thin crust and was crunchy which is my absolute favorite! The gal at the counter was helpful with both the wine choice and the pizza choice. Looks like they had plenty of seating options in their little place and also you can just walk right in and pick up your to-go order at the counter. Oh yeah, you also place your order before you sit down and they bring it to you when it is ready. All in all I will come back again and next time I will try the East Coast inspired crust.

You order at the counter and then sit and they bring your food to you. I'm a huge fan of New Haven style pizza but for some the charred crust might not be appealing. We ended up ordering a large cheese and a large New Richmond. Both were super crispy and obviously hot out of the oven. Personally I preferred the sweetness of the onions on the New Richmond over the plain cheese we got. The crust itself is delicious and unlike some pizza places, can be eaten alone. We got a side of ranch which despite being pricey at $2, did taste better than something off the shelf. If you like crispy and airy pizza with a hint of wood fired flavor then this place checks all the boxes,

We got it to go, but having popped in, would have enjoyed dining in. Restaurant is cute and has an ample wine selection, would have made for a great date night. I had the Kentucky Bourbon brisket and a Sicilian slice, don't judge. The Sicilian slice was nice, could have make a meal out of two of them. That brisket though? . I ate an entire 10 inch. Which, if you're a big eater, the 10 inch is a meal. I'd get the 16 inch next time if I were with others to share. Service was good. At first I was annoyed at the time it took after I ordered, but it was a Friday night and they are a local operation. My recommendation would be place an order ahead of dinner time and this wouldn't be an issue. I'm a fan. Should have bought a t shirt while I was there, but confident I'll be back the next time I'm in town.

I would say most of the time for at least the last decade whenever I order pizza after two slices, I feel super bloated and I need to take a nap. That was certainly not the case when I ate fireside. This caused me to do a bit more research and I found out the big difference is and how long they let the dough, I guess, rest so the enzymes and sugars can do their work. It goes to show paying a couple of extra bucks for quality makes a huge difference in your experience. Your stomach will thank you in the long run. I had the meats pizza and the pesto sauce was also exceptional. I don't care what kind of buy one get one free deal. I can get from any other joints in Cincinnati. This is a review on the food that was ordered while we were at the speakeasy above the pizzeria…read more We ordered a caprese salad and the Vinny pie while upstairs at the speakeasy on a slow Thursday afternoon. The gentleman who brought us our caprese salad, didn't directly say anything to us, but instead spoke only to the bartender (as he placed the salad in front of us) and told him not to place any more orders for caprese. He seemed inconvenienced by our order and more interested in his smoke break. We were surprised at the presentation and at the lack of flavor but assumed that the pizza would be amazing! based on what we had read and heard - but were incredibly disappointed. The pizza was flavorless and Incredibly greasy. Our impression is that this must be a great location for college students or those who have enjoyed their drinking experience and need some grease to sober them up and don't mind what they are eating. We were very let down in our experience and the lack of professionalism from the employee who seemed to think that since he was in the speakeasy, he didn't need to be professional.
