So I read all of these reviews and I had to try this place! I couldn't wait to eat some REAL NY pizza, as I was told by many, this place is the real deal. So junior and I hit the raod for Clifton. Beautiful spring day, so we sat outside. GREAT service and even better atmosphere. We order the NY style crust with peperoni. Pizza arrived in short time....... NY style? Really? Loved this place. Found it on Yelp. Easy to find parking on a Saturday evening. Food was incredible from the garlic bread sticks to the deep fried pickles to the pizza and beer. Waiter and waitress were friendly. Prices were decent too. Highly recommended. read more

Ordered a sub sandwich, specified what I wanted on my sandwich, obviously the order wasn't read past the sandwich name, the sandwich came out wrong, sent it back, brought back a new one, still wrong. When I said something to the waitress, WHO TOOK THE ORDER, her reply was, "Well those things come on the sandwich!" My reply was, " You wrote down what I wanted on it....." My friend and I were at Adriatico's last night, and it was packed full with customers. However, despite all the commotion and demanding customers, the wait staff was absolutely fantastic and so was the pizza. Our waitress, Alex M., was absolutely fantastic and a great waitress. Truly the greatest pizza restaurant in clifton. I have been consistently ordering pizza from here for three years and will continue to do so. Not only are the vast majority of the delivery employees very nice, the food that they deliver to you is excellent. The hours of operation are very convenient and the prices of the food are most certainly reasonable. The personal pepperoni pizza on hand tossed crust is my go to. I've tweeted about Adriatico's and given sooo many New Yorker's lip service on my favorite and much under appreciated pizza joint. While living in NYC, I said with a grin, "If you want the best New York Style Pizza, you have to go to Cincinnati." If you are a New Yorker or have the misconception the best pies are baked in the big apple, prepare for a food orgasm. The tangy (but not too much heat) pizza sauce flips a finger at the sweet tooth that inspires Larosa's Pizzeria and Skyline Chili. My favorite pizza in Cincinnati continues to be Adriaticos whose slogan should read "Better than New York Style, New York Style Pizza." Now that I have left the city again, Adriatico's is on my short list of must-eat destinations. Long overdue, this business has bloomed into a trendy, well designed full-dining experience featuring a full bar and a store front that opens up to create a patio atmosphere on warm, sunny days. I'm such a fan of their pies, that I've never ordered anything but drinks and pizza. But, word on the street is craftmanship of the additional menu items didn't fall too far from the tree. P.S. I've been eating Adriatico's since 1996. I used to order it multiple times a day when I was in college (and it definitely contributed to the freshman 20). Up until the last year, I've still ordered on average, once every couple of weeks. I used to swear by Adriatico's.....if anyone visited me in Clifton and had never had the experience, Adriatico's was ordered before the night was over. Lately, Adriatico's has been somewhat of a cruel mistress. In the last 6 months I've gotten the wrong order twice (as in, someone else's order, not even close), been cheated out of a grand total of around 20 sauces (garlic butter, marinara, etc), and when I called back in for missing items on various orders, was told it would be 45 mins. When I complained on their facebook page, I received no response. The best example I can give of Adriatico's customer service was on a night when I ordered one of their calzones (which have gotten noticeably smaller over the years) and asked for a side of garlic butter. Surprise, no garlic butter upon delivery. When I called back in and spoke with the gentlemen on the phone regarding my plight (that I wasn't interested in the calzone without the garlic butter as I had just moved and had no sauces that I could substitute it with), he stated that he would send someone out and it would be around 45mins to an hour. When I stated that my food would be cold by then and there would be no need for the sauce at that point, he acted shocked. I could hear the gears turning as he processed this statement. He than acquiesced and said that he would have a person out as soon as possible. It was 45 mins........ (I should mention that I live so close to Adriatico's that according to Google, I could have walked there and back twice in the amount of time it took them to drive here). Finally, I think to myself, "Fine. I'll just heat it up in the microwave (which turns it into rubber) and forego the call to ask for a refund". I heat my calzone up, sit down, and go to open my garlic butter. It was akin to opening presents on Christmas day as a 10 year old. It also had the same effect as it would a 10 year old opening presents, expecting a PS4 (due to the heavy box), and it being filled with @#$%^& clothes. To my dismay, the garlic butter cup was not even filled a quarter of the way. Almost 20 years of patriotism to this company and I have never seen a plastic ramekin so empty. Of course, it was too late to call in because they were already closed but they made sure to "acknowledge" the fact that I called in and shockingly requested that they come back with the item that they forgot (this was about the 20th time they had forgotten a sauce and I had reached my breaking point) by delivering a mostly empty container. Well played Adriatico's. Well Played. I sent a message to them on their Facebook page since they were closed and surprise........I got no response. Very disappointed in a company that I talked-up for so many years. It's a shame that their customer service cares so little about their customer that they can't return a simple message. I have since been solely ordering Larosas......not because it taste better but because I don't feel like I'm playing the lottery when I order. They get it right. In the end, Adriatico's could have kept me as a customer had they just reached out to rectify the situation. Apparently that was even more trouble than filling a garlic butter cup......... read more

Worst experience ever! We got awesome reviews from people that had been to the Columbus restaurant and our party was severely disappointed. The restroom was very neglected and the smell drifted into the common areas of the restaurant. Our pizza had meat/cheese that was undercooked/ half warm leading the entire meal to be unappetizing.I will never come back again. read more

Second best pizza in Cincinnati (the first place going to Fratelli's Pizzeria in West Chester). The sauce is spicy and I'd suggest the thin crust. Great beer selection, and just excellent pizza. I hate to be the statistic - but I guess I will be the one who is more likely to leave a bad review than a good one. Literally all I expect from Adriatico's is pizza and beer. Not great pizza - just a place to eat and drink. However simple this may seem Adriatico's failed. Before we could finish a meal and our beer the servers decided (hours before closing time) that it was time to clean and close stations. Our seats were no longer good. It may seem small - but when I start a meal with friend I expect to finish it In the comfort of where I started. The problem with Adriatico's is that they live on a campus (UC) and don't worry about those that may only frequent every so often. Well enjoy your time. Once FCC leaves the campus so will a large majority of your crowd. In the meantime I will make sure that my dollars are spent anywhere else. Literally I would give them to the convenient store for frozen pizza at this point because at least they will let me shop at my pace. Enjoy your monopoly. It will soon pass. Where is the prose of a business to build loyalty and try to serve customers in hopes they will return? Instead Adriatico's knows that for everyone - like me - that won't return; there will be 5 more new folks that stroll in. My request - to those 5 new folks - keep walking. read more

We called before we got there to see if they had a wait and they said no. We were inside within two minutes and they said we would have a fifteen minute wait which turned into a half hour wait. We were in a hurry to get over to the hospital to visit a relative before it got too late so we tried to order our food before we got a table and they wouldn't let us. We sat and order drinks and an appetizer along with placing our pizza order. Sat for 45 minutes and finally asked about the pizza so she went to check on it. Came back to say it had not gone in to cook but they would cook it and we could have it half price. OMG if they had let us order it when we got there it would have come out on time! We got up to leave because we were already late and they wanted us to pay for the appetizer and drinks which we refused. This place has the worst management possible. We didn't even get to taste the pizza so we'll never know if it was good or not. We Won't Be Back!!!! read more

I'm all for expanding your business, but not at the expense of customer service. I'm trying to figure out were they always jerks or is it the new found fame? As far as I'm concerned the delivery services need work. I have even waited a year in between having food delivered and am still disappointed. It sucks to graciously tip the driver, only to find my order is wrong! I should have known when my initial call was greeted by a young guy with an attitude, that my order would be wrong. It was! So, when I call back I get a manager with an attitude! 2 for 5 on having jerks from Adriaticos help me. (I had a nice delivery guy.) I went in the next day with the food to show their mistake, how they gave me double pizza sauce instead of very light. Anyway, the cashier who greeted me was great, the manager he fetched was not, 3 for 5 on horrible customer service. I can hear a frown over the phone that's why I smile every time I answer the phone where I work. I work at a restaurant we would NEVER treat anyone the way Adriaticos treated me. I got my money back but didn't receive an apology. Now they have no way of know how much time we will no longer be spending in their dining room. I stopped in for a visit on thursday to enjoy the amazing pizza. Everything was enjoyable as always. Food was great and so was service. I would however like to complain about something that caught my eye, as well as the whole restaurants' eye. I do not know if it was a manager on duty or what this mans title was but; There was a man yelling at one of the workers in a very terrible and harassing way. It's not unusual to witness a manager yelling in a restaurant but, this scene was completely pitiful. This said man was yelling over a server taking a huge party with no other server to help. I did not see this situation as something to cause a scene about. Learn to give your employees a break, they have lives outside of work too. You have no idea what that person could be dealing with outside of the job treating them like shit under your feet is not ideal. The situation could have been handled differently. This place rocks! I so wish it was closer to home. My wife and I used to get food from Adriatico's when it was just a hole in the wall. They always had great chef salads (that was years ago). Today we looked Adriatico's up on google maps and decided that we would try out the new location (for us). It was a very fun environment and Dang! We way over ordered but we really wanted to try as many things as possible. I got the tried and tested Chef salad that I often have dreams about (it is that good). I ordered the smaller salad but it turned out to be huge lots of flavor and easy on the eyes. We also got the Jalapeno Poppers that were out of this world totally unique and worth the trip in an of themselves. We also ordered a Chicken Bacon Ranch personal pizza that just melted in our mouths Italian style crust was wonderful. My wife got a Tossed salad with garlic apple cider vinegar dressing that rocked and a Chicken Pesto Zoni's. For desert (yep we also had desert) I got the cheese cake gelato my wife got the key lime gelato ...Mmmm. All this and a couple of drinks for under $50. Left stuffed and took home half a pizza and half the Zoni's for daughters to enjoy. One tip, this restaurant is located on a one way street, they have plenty of parking but it is just before you get to the location, on street parking is also available. Management may need to rethink the value of a long term customer! YOUR PIZZA IS NOT CHEAP! Why can't you make a long term customer happy?? My partner and I order very frequently from you and its always been delicious,and the service exceptional. The last three times we have ordered there has been a huge inconsistency as to the service and product that we have had in the past (mind you we always order the same thing)!! We have had to wait for over 2 hours for a pizza that cost close to thirty dollars after a proper tip.. The following week it was cold.. and now its BURNT!! NO ONE seems to want to take accountability for a mistake, they would rather ARGUE with the customer as if were ignorant to what a BURNT pizza looks and taste like.. The manager Mike says it all to best... " I cut that pizza and it was fine"! NO ACCOUNTABILITY! I am a General Manager for a hotel and am speechless to the treatment over a few simple mess ups that could easily have kept us as a long term customer..! This place offers delicious pizza. I usually get the Bearcat for feeding 8 people they are pretty prompt on delivery. They are familiar with a number of bars around University of Cincinnati for delivery fairly late on weekends. Great for when the bar stops serving food. read more

I've only had delivery and never eaten in. I usually eat so much pizza (delicious, crispy/chewy crust, just enough cheese, not overly saucy), Parmesan breadsticks (stupid good, covered in cheese, chewy dough that's done just right), and a few bites of a calzone (all of them are super tasty and a meal on their own) that I change into stretchy pants before the delivery person shows up. It isn't super cheap like Dominos but the extra couple bucks is worth it. It's so much food and it is so good. The only complaint is that the calzones I've had are usually pretty greasy but calzones aren't exactly health food so it's still five stars. If you're sick of popular chain pizza or frozen pizza, give this place a try! read more

They charged me two and three times on my credit card for a of couple orders I have made there. They cook garlic strait into the crust which makes it taste amazing unless of course your a vampire. The atmosphere is great whether your on a date in college or all grown up. Just be careful make sure you don't part in front of Pomodoro's or you will get toed. read more

I recently visited my child at UC campus and dined at Adriacticos, I have to say the Pizza was amazing and cooked to perfection. We also had the buffalo chicken rolls and they were awesome. Everything tasted homemade, Kudos to the cooks! The service was also good prompt and attentive. I definitely will be going back every time I visit Cincinnati!!
