However, my most recent appointment was extremely disappointing and completely unacceptable. I arrived three hours before my maternity photoshoot with clear photo references for both hair and makeup. Unfortunately, the service I received from Phoenix was shockingly poor. My makeup was left clumpy, the winged eyeliner and lip liner were uneven, and mascara was not applied at all. Despite asking for corrections, the issues were not properly addressed. At that point, I asked for products to try to fix the makeup myself, which should never be necessary during a paid professional service. Based on the quality of the application and the inability to correct basic techniques, it is concerning that this individual was assigned to provide a formal makeup service, as the work demonstrated a clear lack of the skill level and training expected for this appointment. I regret not taking photos to document the result, but I was extremely distressed and crying due to the time pressure before my photoshoot. I can only hope I managed to fix the worst of it on my own.
