I had been wanting to go platinum for some years now and my last hairstylist would always give me blonde or orange blonde which I disliked. I messaged various people and Maysaa was not only fast to respond, but inviting. Her kind and fast response are what made me make the appointment with her. She did not only get my hair down to the lightest color possible, but gave me advice and made a plan with me how to keep my hair healthy and get to the color I want. I will for sure be going back to her for touch ups and hair treatments. The salon was clean , spacious and all the girls there seemed very nice which was a plus top the experience

But I'm supposed to go to a concert tomorrow night, and I really didn't want to show up feeling like a complete geriatrics patient! So today, I literally just "walked in" to this incredible salon, The Hot Seat, without an appointment--and I'm SO glad I did! I was greeted by a very nice lady who, at 5pm, assured me that there was enough room for me. I was then taken care of by two beautiful women, Mariam and Tiffany, and not just one but BOTH of them went to work on my hair. I walked in basically asking for a "Farrah Fawcett," and they absolutely delivered, only better! I've had plenty of haircuts over the years, and while a fresh haircut always feels good, my hair has never felt this good when I've walked out of a salon. It feels bouncy, balanced, light, and somehow just...RIGHT! When I caught my reflection in my car window, I literally thought, "OMG! No way!" I have never been this delighted with a haircut before in my life! When I got home, my family was happily impressed, and my husband not only noticed but was pleasantly surprised-which actually says a lot! And the best part? I was a walk-in! They took me right in, washed my hair with a shampoo made for the Gods, then cut and dried it, and all for an extremely competitive price. They totally made me feel like a rock star! Maybe I will actually get dressed up for the concert after all. Thank you so much, ladies! Mariam and Tiffany, you made my day--and gave me a haircut I absolutely LOVE!

Casey was such a sweet treasure of a soul. She took the time to get to know me, my needs, my personal preference and she listened without judgment!! I brought my own shampoo and conditioner, Casey was so respectful and fairly knowledgeable about the challenges of gray hair and hair loss. I really appreciated how open she was when I shared that I preferred non-toxic, products without harmful chemicals. She even inquired about the products I brought. She took really good care of my hair. She was really easy to talk to. I left loving my haircut!! This was the first time a stylist didn't go to town trying to "layer" my hair to give me volume. I will definitely be back to see Casey!!

I was able to get a receptionist on the phone but because she was new was unable to assist. I was directed to contact the individual hairdressers via Instagram. This required me to follow their page before I could message them. Really, really inefficient. In the meantime, I was able to locate another salon and hairdresser via Vagaro and book an appointment. These professionals may be great, but having an easy way to book will get more clients. In this day and age, the instantaneous booking is the bar and this place doesn't meet it. I made the mistake of going here and ended up paying three times the amount of money to have my hair color corrected after Sam turned it a red orange color when I told him beforehand that my only fear was ending up with red/orange hair. He assured me it would not. Not only that but the haircut was totally uneven and way shorter than I wanted. It had to be recut to even it all out. This can be devastating for a haircut that is already extremely short. Now I have to wear a scarf or a hat until my hair gets longer. Probably around six months. The worst experience of my life. I thought because he had great reviews he must be pretty good but after my hair was ruined I looked further for more reviews. If you look hard enough and deep enough you will find all of the terrible reviews. For some reason people are able to hide these which is a bad thing for people like myself that look for reviews before going to a new salon. I dont understand how he could have so many 5 stars reviews after what he did to my hair. Are they really all real reviews? Seriously, this is so deceiving and it's unfair to people that rely on honest reviews to decide where to go for hair needs. My hair had become brassy and I just wanted to add low lights and some dimension. I showed many, many photos to make it clear what I wanted. Unfortunately, the final result was drastically different from what I requested. Much of the interior and underside of my hair was colored a very dark brunette tone, creating a flat, heavy appearance rather than the dimensional look shown in the photos we reviewed. The ends of my hair look completely black, nothing like the photos I showed. The issue wasn't that my hair became darker overall. I expected more depth and lowlights. The issue was that much of the brightness and dimension was lost, particularly underneath, leaving large sections of the hair looking like one solid dark color. To Cynthia's credit, she did offer to adjust the color by adding highlights and ultimately provided a full refund when I explained that I was no longer comfortable proceeding with additional processing since my first request was so misunderstood and poorly executed. While I appreciate her efforts to make things right afterward, the final result did not reflect the look we spent significant time discussing beforehand. I'm honestly still devastated.
