Tyler was friendly and easy to talk to and I explained I had a work event that night and I was hoping he could style it so it would last for that. Please note, I haven't actually visited this place. I was not able to get an appointment. Because…read morethis is a spot that many hairdressers utilize independently, there is no central booking option. Not Vagaro, not on the website, and not by phone. I sent an email and also called. I was able to get a receptionist on the phone but because she was new was unable to assist. I was directed to contact the individual hairdressers via Instagram. This required me to follow their page before I could message them. Really, really inefficient. In the meantime, I was able to locate another salon and hairdresser via Vagaro and book an appointment. These professionals may be great, but having an easy way to book will get more clients. In this day and age, the instantaneous booking is the bar and this place doesn't meet it. It is a hurdle/challenge to just get an appointment. I am sure these people are nice and are probably good at what they do.

I had an appointment that I scheduled weeks ago with Christine for first time. I arrived at the…read moresalon on time and was waiting so I looked at my phone. Christine had sent me a text an hour before saying she was not coming in until 10. Our appointment was at 9:30. I had not looked at my text as I was getting ready to for my appointment. I responded that I was not waiting 30 min. She got defensive and said people have emergencies but she had not said it was an emergency or apologized or checked to see if that would work for me. She continued to be rude and defensive. I would not recommend this salon or stylist at all. I think if she had made an attempt to be responsible I would have made an effort to give her some grace but 30 minutes is a long time to just change an appointment with no discussion. and be rude about it.

But I'm supposed to go to a concert tomorrow night, and I really didn't want to show up feeling like a complete geriatrics patient! So today, I literally just "walked in" to this incredible salon, The Hot Seat, without an appointment--and I'm SO glad I did! I was greeted by a very nice lady who, at 5pm, assured me that there was enough room for me. I was then taken care of by two beautiful women, Mariam and Tiffany, and not just one but BOTH of them went to work on my hair. I walked in basically asking for a "Farrah Fawcett," and they absolutely delivered, only better! I've had plenty of haircuts over the years, and while a fresh haircut always feels good, my hair has never felt this good when I've walked out of a salon. It feels bouncy, balanced, light, and somehow just...RIGHT! When I caught my reflection in my car window, I literally thought, "OMG! No way!" I have never been this delighted with a haircut before in my life! When I got home, my family was happily impressed, and my husband not only noticed but was pleasantly surprised-which actually says a lot! And the best part? I was a walk-in! They took me right in, washed my hair with a shampoo made for the Gods, then cut and dried it, and all for an extremely competitive price. They totally made me feel like a rock star! Maybe I will actually get dressed up for the concert after all. Thank you so much, ladies! Mariam and Tiffany, you made my day--and gave me a haircut I absolutely LOVE!
