Tracee has been cutting my hair for (whelp) 12 years. I have thin, curly, frizzy hair and she ALWAYS makes it look so much better. She's an expert in dry cuts for curly girls. Today Tam saved my life. I did something you're never supposed to do which is get a haircut from a friend who doesn't cut hair.. I had gotten a haircut from this friend who accidentally cut way to much off on Sunday and left a request for 911 help on the website. I am forever grateful for them. They reached out by 8 am the next day and was able to get me in. Tam was amazing, not only did she get me in, she completely fixed the haircut and helped me feel like I could look at myself in the mirror again. She also didn't make me feel any sort of way about letting a friend cut my hair either and didn't say anything snide or cross about the job my friend did, which made me feel so comfortable and less anxious about the process as a whole. While cutting, she explained EVERYTHING she was doing which she obviously didn't have to do but really helped me feel more grounded while I was processing going from mid back length hair to shoulder length with very short layers in the back. I haven't been in a salon in several years and I now look forward to the next time I need a style done so I can come back. This was my first time in this business also and I have to say that I absolutely LOVED all the plants and little details of beautiful things around. It helped me feel like the people there can be trusted with the details of things, like my hair. 10/10. I do recommend. read more

I have been getting my hair done w/Ronnie for years and so happy she is back at the same spot formally JDM salon. There is plenty of parking and easy to get to. There is even a small clothing boutique on the second floor of this place. So you can shop while your hair is processing. read more

I had an initial consultation with Mike on 12/4 about color correction. He was clear that he would not know how long it would take him nor did he know how much he would charge me until he got into doing it. What I surely did not anticipate was a bill for 745.00, including a 100.00 deposit up front and spending 6 hours there last night. Unbelievable! I should have walked out! Very, extremely disappointed!! I feel totally ripped off. Yes it is nice but not for that much money!! Be wary!!! read more

Such a terrible experience - had been going to Angelica for about six months. I decided to do a massive change - silver to my hair. Half way through, she said it was going to be $300 - usually what I pay for a color and a cut. After spending hours on it, she said she didn't have time to cut. I was her last client of the day. I saw it and panicked, she said it would be okay (and I assumed it would somehow turn silver). My hair cut before that hadn't been great and my mom didn't like her's either. At that point I was being walked out the door and my hair was already very dry and brittle. She sold me pricey blonde conditioner and shampoo - that did not do a thing. My hair is trashed and not even a color I care for. It took four colors for something to hide this white/yellow hair. A nightmare. She'd stripped my hair of color and made it white - I looked like a qtip. she said, if it starts turning yellow. I called her because it was turning yellow. she said to come in. She should have said, come in and I'll take care of it - free of charge. That's not what happened. After blowing my hair budget for the month. I tried coloring it strawberry blonde - and both times the color just washed through. All the red base colors did that. I had to color it a dark brown. When my mom saw what she'd done - what did she do to you?! I called Angelica and told her my mom wanted to cancel her future appointment - (my mom had told me with a few expletives to cancel her &@€%! My mom is 82). We have appts with a new hair dresser. read more

I'm so happy this salon has opened again. Previously JDM Salon, now under a new name and owner. My stylist of many, many years, April, is back here as well so it couldn't be better. If you haven't been here, give it a try. The space is big, open and airy (important these days) and it's close to lots of shopping. read more

I have been going to Taryn for 5 years now, and LOVE the space at Mojave! What started out as a simple "bob" cut transformed into a pixie, back to a bob, and now she cuts both of my young daughters' hair. There's no one else I trust more with my family's hair, and I never leave unsatisfied. She's even cut my husband's hair, and is a MASTER with the scissors. Aside from being easy to talk to, she truly listens to what you want! read more

I have been going to Hair by Michelle Neal-Fry for over a decade. After 15months of screwing up my color at home during this pandemic, Michelle came to the rescue. This is a new salon for her & I love it! Lots of space- friendly staff! read more

Taryn is an amazing hair stylist!! I've been going to her for many years and I always feel like a million bucks when I walk out. Give her a try and you'll never want anyone else to touch your hair!! read more

I tracked Bri down after the place she used to work closed. I have difficult hair and haircuts make me anxious, but she makes me feel comfortable. She listens carefully to what you want, then checks in once or twice during the cut to make sure the length is looking good for you. She's a naturally friendly person and easy to chat with, so the time goes fast. Thanks Bri! read more

Love my stylist there!! Angie Gonzalez! I love her thoughtfulness of styling my hair. She really takes the time to figure out what I want or can do for a new cut. She takes the extra time to explain if I would need to style a certain cut or if I could wash and go with a style I am thinking about. I always walk out loving my new hair. And, all my hair cuts from her are easy to manage and continue to look great. Cute salon, easy access and parking are a plus! read more

I cannot say enough good things about Emma at Mojave Style House. I have very thick short hair ...pretty manageable but way too many cowlicks than any one person should have to deal with! Had my first haircut with Emma this week and she did an amazing job. Best haircut I've had in a very long time! read more

I have been a long time client of Michelle Neal-Fry and though the years I have followed her wherever she goes because of the great work she does. I don't trust just anyone with my hair and trust me once you find that stylist who understands you, you keep them as long as you possibly can. This is the first time coming to Mojave Style salon because of her. I have to say that I love the ambience and how spacious and clean the place is. Everyone I encountered there was courteous and helpful. If you are looking for a great place and a stylist, this is a place to go and she is the person to ask for! read more
