I went to Ana for highlights and I'm overall unhappy with the experience. She charged me $250 for highlights and she charged my mom $215 for the same service and I was charged more because I have more hair and that it's a little longer. When I showed her the pictures of what I wanted she said it would take more time and be more expensive which I didn't appreciate. Haircut is $60 ontop of the $250 which doesn't include tip. I feel like my hair looked slightly better but it grew out quick and now my hair looks darker so I wouldn't recommend this place or go back she didn't get my hair blond enough and I didn't get what I want which is upsetting due to the high price and I didn't get what I wanted I also thought I would be getting 5 star service. read more

I contacted the owner of the salon and she was very kind and understanding of the situation. She gave me the option of either getting a full refund or to have my hair redone which I really appreciated. She was able to schedule me in with another stylist right away. The new stylist was wonderful. She did her best to correct the issues with my hair and overall it turned out great. She could not have done a better job. The only reason I did not give this review five stars is that my hair is now way more damaged than when I started. We had to do a color stripper plush a round of bleach to get the old color out. This is no fault of the owner or the second stylist but of the situation in general. Overall I understand that all business make mistakes. But I am happy to report that this business is responsive and understanding when issues come up. read more

Ray is the most talented, artistic stylist I have ever met, and an overall lovely human. I had an unfortunate cut/color from a different salon, which I didn't think could be salvageable, but Ray managed to not only fix it but gave me the most beautiful color and flattering cut. I've received so many compliments, and honestly don't think my hair has ever looked this good. I truly appreciate that Ray listened to my concerns and really took his time on what was a very challenging repair process. I called super last minute just to see if they were able to squeeze me in fifteen minutes prior to my arrival and they said that was perfect! I was in a rush and had an appointment 45 minutes after I sat down in the chair. Ana was the absolute best! She was fast, careful, and sweet. I've been researching Habit Hand-Tied extensions for a couple of years now. I booked an appointment with a stylist at another salon. After doing an in-person consultation, putting down a deposit, and exchanging multiple emails with that stylist, I was excited to finally experience these extensions myself. Unfortunately, after all of our discussions the stylist emailed me one day advising what I wanted was "out of the scope of her capabilities." Christine Shamo has done my color in the past and her work is never short or amazing. She recently got certified in the Habit Hand-Tied method, so I entrusted her to put these extensions in for me. I understood that this will be a long process if I don't want to damage my hair. After 2 years, and a lots of funny color in my hair,I have beautiful blond and healthy hair, thanks to Alva. Also I took all her advice maintaining my hair. Yes being blonde is not on the cheaper side. But if you want healthy and beautiful hair, you need to follow your hairdresser advice. Also you need to be very patient, specially if you want to be blonde from a darker color. Sure you can get blonde after one visit but than don't be surprised that you hair is damaged. Updated review. Samantha is a color slayer. I first went to her with damaged hair from a previous stylist. She color corrected me and nursed my hair back to health. Two years and some change later my hair was healthy and my natural color is dark brown. I had been wanting to go back to blonde, but she cared more about the integrity of my hair so she told me my hair wasn't ready after the first year. We addressed the going blonde subject again after year 2 and she agreed my hair was healthy enough. It was my second visit to this place and I was assigned a nice friendly stylist. The experience was pleasant but it felt like the stylist was inexperienced and doesn't really know what she's doing. After the cut, wash, blow and curling, hair looks fine with styling and hair spray. After a hair wash today and blow drying, to my horror, my hair is now very uneven on both sides. It looks like someone chopped it into bits and pieces. Sorry but it's the worst 50 dollars spent. Will not return again. Update: It was really kind for Salon Radiance to reach out and offer to fix my hair. And I wanted to give a fair update on their outstanding customer service. I've only had my hair colored professionally twice in my life. I left a yelp message & Pete responded almost right away. He got me in the same week for a color test & precut. Pete was very professional yet warm. He stressed not leaving my hair in worse condition than before so I really appreciated that. When I went in for the color change, I was a little surprised about the charge per hour, which was $75/hour & the entire process of covering my grays, lifting the box color & foiling my hair took almost 5 hours so you can guess how much I ended up paying! This is the only reason I deducted 1 star. The rest of the service was excellent. Pete put me to sleep several times from the multiple head massages. The color came out very pretty. He informed me that it will be close to the color I wanted & recommended that I wait a couple of months to lighten it even further. Overall, a wonderful experience & will return. read more

I got married this week and had an appointment with Naomi at Salon Radiance 2 for my bridal hair and makeup. I confirmed with her again via text one week before. When I showed up at the salon at our designated time, it was dark and locked. I waited outside for 40 minutes, repeatedly calling and texting her with no response. I sat outside, alone, bawling because it was my wedding day. I finally left and frantically did my own hair and makeup - I suck at doing hair and makeup which is why I booked a professional in the first place. I got a text from Naomi over 2 hours past our appointment time and way too late to be of any help, saying she "overslept" and her phone was on "do not disturb". I will forever remember my wedding day as starting with me crying on the sidewalk alone, and every time I look at pictures I will remember that I didn't feel as beautiful as every bride deserves to. I would never trust Naomi or Salon Radiance as they clearly lack professionalism, trustworthiness, and overall human decency. Completely incomprehensible that this could happen to a bride. read more

What a wonderful salon and a great experience! We had a hair appointment with Pete this evening and he was absolutely wonderful. My daughter is 8 and I wasn't expecting him to treat her like a true little client because of her young age... but he did and It was such a relief and so sweet. After my usual stylist no called / no showed me a few times, I decided it was time for a change. I went in blind, booking my appointment online without having a specific stylist to see. Lucky me! I walked in for my appointment and was greeted by Tanya who was also my stylist. She was immediately friendly and listened to exactly what I wanted.
