I arrived at 8:45 am and was welcomed by receptionist and informed her that this was my first time ever having microneedling. She reassured me that I made a great decision. I was then taken into a room for pictures of my skin. After the pictures I was taken to the procedure room and did my medical assessment by zoom with the physician assistant. After being cleared the receptionist brought me a bottle water and advised me that Perla had just arrived and she would be in momentarily to go over everything. I waited less than 5 minutes and Perla came in and we had a great conversation about what I wanted to achieve with my skin and my problem areas. Perla then put numbing cream on my face and advised that she would leave it on for 15 minutes. I was really impressed because every question I had about the process she answered and explained everything step by step. After the numbing cream she cleaned my face and put on an astringent and began microneedling. I thought it was going to be painful and that I was going to bleed. It actually tickles in some areas of the face and neck but I did have a little discomfort on the forehead and nose area. After it was over Perla did show me the areas that I had some redness but stated that would go away within a few days. Perla also advised me to use tinted sunscreen and gave me her recommendations on how to care for my skin. I immediately seen a difference and will be scheduling another appointment in 6 weeks for another session. I was really satisfied and highly impressed! Oh! I almost forgot after my service was over I was trying to redeem my Groupon deal and the Groupon site was having problems. I tried to access it several times and the receptionist tried on her end to access the site and nothing was happening. After 20 minutes the receptionist inquired if I would allow her to stay logged into my Groupon and she would take care of it and call me once the payment cleared. I felt bad for leaving unsure about the payment because I had never used Groupon and wanted to make sure that the business was paid for my services. About 10 minutes after I left I received a call from the receptionist that the website was up and running and she was able to redeem the Groupon payment. This was a bonus for me that I patronized an excellent business! I will definitely be back for future services! Thank you Bare Skin Beauty! You're wonderful!

I drove all over the strip mall trying to find this place. I eventually found another brow place in the same mall. When I went inside and sat down, but it wasn't Brown & Esthetics. I got back in my car and tried to call to let her know I was lost but I could only get a voice mail. On the voice mail it said they were in the same location as Med Spa. Due to all the running around I was 10 min late for my appointment. She was gone after only 10 min. I tried to call again from the lobby and once I got in my car. She finally called me back and I was told she only gives clients 10 min. I confirmed my appointment 3 times via text message and 1 time on email. It isn't my fault that the address wasn't listed correctly on the Groupon. I even texted her a copy of the address listed because she said there wasn't an error on Groupon. I wanted to try brow tinting for quite some time. I have very little eyebrows. With the Groupon this would have allowed me to get them done. I'm very disappointed with the whole process.

The OxyGeneo facial is now on my treat-myself list every month! My skin looks smoother, plump, SOO glowy and hydrated for nearly a week after Michelle gave me such a relaxing facial. I am extremely disappointed with how this situation was handled. I purchased the shampoo and…read moreconditioner because I genuinely wanted to love them, but after using them my scalp burned intensely and itched, I developed flaking, and a very large amount of hair came out while I was shampooing and conditioning, far more than is normal for me. The burning was so severe it continued for a day or two. I stopped using the products because I was genuinely concerned about what was happening to my hair and scalp. What was most upsetting was how the owner handled it when I went back to the salon. After I explained what was happening, she repeatedly told me she did not believe shampoo and conditioner could cause this and emphasized her years of experience. At one point I asked her directly, "So you're saying I'm lying?" She said she wasn't saying that, but I don't know how else I was supposed to take being repeatedly told she didn't believe the products could cause what I was experiencing. I was not asking her to diagnose me. I was telling her what happened after using products I purchased from her salon. What made the situation even more upsetting was when she told me that if I were a client of theirs she would be more willing to work with me, but that I was essentially just someone who "walked off the street" and purchased the products. I found that extremely insulting. I was still a paying customer, and I don't believe someone should have to be an established salon client to have their concerns taken seriously when they are experiencing a significant problem with a product they bought there. She wanted me to leave the products while she contacted the sales representative to see whether they would approve a full refund. She said that if the representative approved it she would give me a full refund, but if they did not she would only give me a partial refund. I did not feel comfortable leaving products I had paid for when I didn't know whether I would receive a full refund. She kept saying, "You're not even going to use them," and questioned why I wanted to take them with me. I told her, "I'm taking them because I paid for them." She also said I was not giving her a chance to get a hold of the sales representative. I have already driven an hour each way twice to deal with this. I gave her the additional time she requested to contact the sales representative. She never followed up with me and nothing was resolved. I genuinely wanted to love these products. Instead I experienced intense scalp burning, itching, flaking, and a very large amount of hair coming out while washing, and then felt dismissed when I went back for help. I am extremely disappointed that the salon handled the situation this way rather than simply resolving the issue. I will not be returning, and after being told I was essentially just someone who "walked off the street," I would be very cautious about purchasing products or getting any services done here if this is how non-client customers are treated when there is a problem. EDIT: The owner replied calling this "buyer's remorse." In the same reply, she says she suspected an allergic reaction. Those two things don't go together. I did not threaten her. I told her I'd post a factual review of what happened. The receptionist told me the owner was off the grid camping, to come back the next day after 4:30, and that nobody else could help. The owner then asked for a day to contact her rep. I gave her that day, and when I didn't hear back, I posted as I said I would. How am I supposed to pick out other products I've never used, from a place that dismissed me, and risk the same reaction? Once I stopped using these products and switched to a different shampoo and conditioner, my hair loss dropped right away. My offer stands: I'll return the products for a full refund.
