Please read the bad reviews before making an appointment because that was clearly my mistake before coming here. I made an appointment to receive half of a syringe in my lips & once I got there, the man that took me to the room had clarified exactly what I called for, to which I agreed to the half. He even told me that the nurse, Sajia, was on her last client (me) before heading to their other location and that should've been my other red flag but I didn't know she would rush to leave and carelessly give me a FULL syringe without my consent. She didn't ask, she didn't clarify, she just did. She left before I paid so when I got to the front that is when they told me the price would be $675. Now when I called originally I asked how much a full would be and they said $650. To make my point, the manager even said $650 when I finally got a hold of her 2 days later. I asked the woman that was charging me to ask Sajia what she done and she told her to take $100 off the service. To me that's putting a bandaid on a mistake. If it were me I would've definitely given them the other half for free knowing I didn't ask for their consent. I called a multitude of times to get a hold of the manager, my calls were even forwarded and I told them I would come in to which the front desk said it wasn't necessary. After calling 3 more times I finally got a call back from the manager and she had the worst attitude. Listen, I know damn well if this had happened to her just based on her energy she would not be okay with paying for a service she didn't ask for. Instead she justified in any possible way she could, "it's been 2-3 years since your last service so the nurse gave you what she recommended", "the nurse had communicated a full syringe", "we gave you a discount" blah blah.. complete bullsh-. I am so disappointed in her attitude towards a consumer, another woman to say the very least. I'm sure they have cameras and they definitely record the calls so I know for a fact that I'm not in the wrong and that she was trying to manipulate the situation. I'm just so shocked that they have someone like that running a spa. She even asked me if I wanted to get it removed knowing that costs more than just refunding me. I've learned my lesson and I'm never supporting their business again. Sure you might have had a good experience, but just know that if shit hit the fan and you were done dirty, they will absolutely not give a F- because all they want is your money. And to the b- of a manager, no one gives a f about a discount when you've been wrongfully charged but just know karma will come back to you. read more

Please be careful with Veneta, after going for a micro shading service with her, I got home and my family members told me my brows have different shapes. It was not only me seeing botched brows. I called Veneta to tell her about it, she said to me.. "her work is flawless and her measurements were perfect." She got offended and denied to fix them. She even asked me to come the next day because "she wanted it to remove them." After the phone call she started texting me, she was really mad. The way the owner replied to my Yelp review is an example of how unprofessional this establishment is. I have never seen an owner respond so aggressively towards an unhappy client. They completely twisted my words and made it seem like I was non-compliant. I told all the ladies "I will do whatever it takes to help my skin" 1. As the "medical professionals" they claim to be, they should be consulting on their client's skin history themselves and asking the questions they need to know to proceed with procedures, which they did not do. I'm not a medical professional, nor are most clients, how are we supposed to know what information to provide? 2. I never said I received skin treatment from any other med spa, I expressed I received Botox that went away so soon, so this statement the owner made was a complete lie. 3. They did not offer me a skincare plan, they just gave me a free facial and proceeded to tell me to pay monthly for skin care facials and continued to criticize my appearance. I paid for a 3 session laser tattoo removal package. The first session went great. It was with Neva .. there was a lot of progress from just one session you could tell. She definitely took her time and was very thorough. The second session was with someone else... it was really bad to the point where I was almost going to not go to my last session. She rushed me out, spent like 5 mins on the removal and she kept complaining and ultimately the progress was limited to the first session honestly. I almost just chalked it up as a loss and was gonna leave a bad review .. but I went in for my last session and got Neva again and once again you can just see the difference , and the amount of time she took to make sure she did a good job. I received filler back in 2021 from Sajia. I ended up posting a comment on here with pictures. She gave me 1/3 of a refund and gave me a free filler to fix my face and asked me to take it down ( I will never forget she said EWE to my pictures) I literally didn't leave my house only if it was necessary for a 1yr. When she gave me the free filler I really tried to convince myself to like it. Here it is 2023 and my face still looks ridiculous and my face will never be the same. She shoved so much filler on my face I looked like a monster. I'm am now having to go somewhere to fix the DAMAGE she has done. They were even shocked when I showed them the pictures, my cheeks are lopsided and she injected filler in areas that didn't need it. I hesitated to post but people need to know to beware. Had a really bad experience with my visit in July '23. After my injection I immediately experienced a severe headache. The headache lasted so long (5 days) that I called to speak to the nurse because I was concerned. After I explained the issue to the receptionist, I was informed that the nurse (or someone) would call me back. Unfortunately, no one ever did call me back to check on my concerns or how I was feeling. This lack of concern and follow up leads me to believe they do not really care about their patients. I really liked the environment and the staff was very nice (so I gave 2 stars), but I had 6 laser hair removal treatments on my underarms and my hair hasn't changed. I thought I saw results, but all of my hairs are still growing back. I'm really disappointed because I saw someone write the same review but I chose to ignore it and give E-med Spa a chance. I followed all directions and made all of my appointments on time so I'm not sure what went wrong. I told the laser tech on my 3rd visit that I saw no reduction at all, but she reassured me that they will show after 6 sessions. On my 5th session they got a "new head" that actually felt strong, but even 2 sessions with it didn't help reduce my hair. I wish I didn't waste so much time (waiting 6 weeks between sessions) and money for no results. Again, the staff was great! I'm just reviewing the laser hair removal results. Update: it has been a week and there IS a very small difference. I mean, small. The hairs are thinner. But it's not nearly what should be expected. I can't say there is a reduction of hairs though. *I was told by a couple other laser hair removal companies that you should stay away from IPL Lasers because they aren't meant for hair removal. They CAN do something, but not much and it isn't as long lasting as the better lasers out there. read more

Before purchasing the deal from Groupon (Two Microdermabrasion with Collagen Treatments) I made sure to read reviews not only from Groupon but also Yelp and Google. THIS IS A MUST! Surprise...surprise... just because they have 5-star on Groupon doesn't necessarily mean they're good. Fortunately, this place had excellent reviews everywhere! I have combination skin, mostly oily and acne scars from my teenage years . I'm also in my mid-20's so I wasn't expecting a major difference the first treatment as I've never had a facial before. However, my first experience from here was indeed pleasant and has set the bar high. I especially applause them for having great customer service! The place was chic, cozy and clean. I was immediately greeted and a few minutes later, Shi (aesthetician) walked us to the room. I had to bring my daughter due to last minute change of plans and I planned on having her wait in the lobby. But Shi let her come with us in the room which I really appreciated. As soon as the treatment started, my daughter had about 100 questions about why and what Shi was doing lol. We watch JadeyWadey on YT so she was invested in the whole process . The Microdermabrasion didn't hurt. Although, I do have high pain tolerance. It felt like someone's slightly pinching your skin. When it was time for my mask, Shi left the room with my daughter so I can a have a few minutes of quiet. She also gave her a tour of the other rooms to keep her distracted. Again, CUSTOMER SERVICE ON POINT! My favorite part was the facial massage . I try to do it at home but it's a thousand times better when someone else do it for you lol. Shi also explained they're membership club, (go to their website emedspasd.com for details) which sounds like a great deal with plenty of benefits! Plus, if you're planning on getting treatments routinely, this will save you a lot of money . She also suggested Microneedling to get rid of my scars so I'm definitely interested in signing-up once I've used my other treatment.
