Inaam's work is literal magic. She works REALLY fast and is efficient with her time to make sure all your sessions are worth it. I've been going to electrolysis sessions for my underarms for about a year (I've had to spread my sessions out due to schooling) and the skin there is SO soft! You can't see any hairs. Even after the first few sessions, the hairs grew back super thin and sparse. I started May 2022 and now that it's July 2023 I think I can confidently say the majority of the hairs are permanently gone. The ones that still remain are barely noticeable and I don't even bother shaving them because they're so thin and don't really bother me. I'll probably go for a few more sessions until the end of the year. The nice thing is that each session with her gets shorter and shorter because of how much progress there is. I've tried everything to get rid of the stubborn hair all over my body...tweezing, waxing, shaving, laser hair removal, you name it, I've tried it. I tried everything to dodge electrolysis because I was so terrified of the pain and the stories I've heard of people getting scarred. I did Laser Hair Removal on my face and it left my hair thicker and darker than ever. Desperate, I finally decided to try Innam, and i can't believe I didn't go to her from the start!!! Innam is a professional and has been in the field for 23 years. I've never once been burned or left with any scars. It is very painful, but Innam helps you get through the hour you're there and over the last year and a half I've figured out a few things that help. 1. Talk to Innam while she's working on you. She's hilarious and it'll definitely get your mind off the pain. 2. ICE ICE ICE!!! Take an ice pack with you and ice the area for a good 30-45 minutes before you go. If she's working on one part of your body, start icing the part that's next. The ice pack is also really good for the swelling post electrolysis. 3. I can handle the electrolysis on my face, but my upper lip was UNBEARABLE! I almost gave up on it, until Innam suggested Numb Master numbing cream. It's available on Amazon and Innam taught me how to use it (apply thick and leave on for at least an hour before electrolysis). This thing is seriously a miracle, now I can lay still and actually have Innam get more than one hair off my lip. 4. Be consistent. When I first started I would go once a week, then once every two weeks. Now, once a month. I admit, I missed many of my appointments. My first treatments were about an hour long and I would go every two weeks. I'm pretty much done with my problem areas and as of late have been going in for 30 minute sessions about every 5 weeks. I've been going to Inaam for over 10 years. Mainly for sugaring the brazillian area, until she convinced me to start electrolysis a year ago (best choice I ever made). 1. Sugaring- Inaam makes her own sugar wax herself before the appointment with natural ingredients you can find in the kitchen. I find it MUCH less irritating than regular wax and love that it's all natural. Plus, I have always had better results with sugar. When I lived out of town, I tried other salons that did sugaring with a product they bought (not homemade) and it was never as good. I highly recommend Inaam for sugaring if you aren't going for permanent hair removal. 2. Electrolysis- I won't lie, it's painful. But it is seriously the best decision I've ever made and is beyond worth it. I'm SO happy with the results I've gotten. I go for 1 hour sessions and afterwards I am a little swollen and red and the follicles look a little angry, but it goes away in a day. I ended up not going for a few months because there was such little hair that I literally forgot haha so I have a few more sessions to go. Let me also add that now I NEVER have ingrown hairs and I don't have to worry about razor burn. I can't wait to be done and start my underarm area. I can't recommend Inaam enough!
