Disappointed in this experience and am still in search for my go to threading place in SD! Upon walking in, there were incense burning which was nice. The couch I had a seat on to wait was dirty and uncomfortable. The lady who did my brows was very sweet, however, took a long while to get the job done. When she originally asked if my eyebrows looked OK I let her know the bottoms needed some cleaning up. I understand they want to leave your eyebrows thick, but to me the way mine were left just look sloppy. Pictures are attached so you can formulate your own opinion. Bad experience this time around. The tech left a cut in my brow. When the tech finished the job she directed my attention to the opposite brow and said "there was a problem" and that I could use castor oil to regrow the brow. The brow that she pointed out was fine to me so I disregarded her comment and went about away. The other brow was combed in a way that concealed her mistake so I didn't notice the chunk of hair missing until I got home. So not only did the tech make a mistake, she made an effort to hide her mistake. UPDATE: I went back to address the mistake made. The threader was apologetic however, I noticed the threader sanitized the chair before previous customers but did not clean the chair before it was my turn. I had to ask her if she was going to clean the chair for me as well. She obliged but there's definitely some differential/discriminatory treatment happening at this establishment. read more

On 3/11 I went in the morning and there was a different employee who had never threaded me before, and my left eyebrow in the arch area was completely butchered. It's partly my fault because I didn't realize until I got home, or else I would have said something in the shop. Recently got my lashes done by Anu. She uses cluster lashes and they only last about 1-2 weeks. They aren't exactly lash extensions. I wanted to try them out because I was interested in getting extensions, but didn't want to pay the expensive price of them yet. Anu's lashes are about $30 for individual cluster lashes. I think she did a great job and I loved the way they turned out! These lashes are not waterproof. Unfortunately, my eyes didn't like them and kept getting irritated and very watery. I will most likely have to get them taken off ASAP due to this. If you have sensitive eyes, this may not be the option for you. However, they are something fun and new to try before joining the lash extensions club. If you rather have something even more temporary, cluster individual lashes may work for you. You have to make an appointment for lashes because she's typically not there Sundays and Mondays. If you want fills, it requires no appointment and fills are cheap. read more

Love Anu! Been coming here since forever, never had complain, but this time I do have to be honest, new old lady (I don't know her name) messed up my eyebrows. I asked for a clean up around the shape, old lady separated them, and uneven them and she was very brutal throughout the whole process and definitely not professional. I had a hair clip on my hair when I sit on the chair, and was about to take it off, and I know for a fact the young lady would of told me or ask me to please take it off, but this old lady take it off herself without even asking me or anything and put it in my purse. This was my second time here and I didn't get my threading done by Anu, it was an Indian lady (didn't get her name). She was nice but the end result wasn't that great. I took time to let my brows grow too so that sucked to not have them look as nice as they could have. She left a lot of random stray hairs and said if she took them off my brow would lose its shape. Came in here and did a full face threading cuz ya girl be slackin on the face maintenance. This was my very first time getting threaded since I usually wax. Back story, a long time ago when I still lived in norcal, some lady took off too much on my left eyebrow. It never grew back so my eyebrows have been uneven ever since. Other waxers haven't been able to fix it so that's why I decided to get threaded this time. The lady was so patient with me and was very thorough. Not gonna lie, the upper lip and cheek bones hurt. It's not a huge amount of pain, just enough to make you twinge. All worth it though since I came out with my face baby butt smooth with zero facial hair. Also, MY EYEBROWS ARE EVEN. I HAVE LITERALLY NO PEACH FUZZ. I've been self conscious about my lady facial hair since I was super young so this is a huge success. Also when I came here, the place was empty. It was therapeutic to just sit there while she was threading me. Next thing I know when I got up there was a whole line of people waiting in the seats behind me.
