I had a full-face threading done today, and unfortunately, it was a very bad experience. The technician was extremely rough, and I didn't realize until I got home and looked in the mirror that the skin on my face had been torn in several places. My face was sore and irritated afterward. Based on my experience, I would not recommend getting full-face threading at this place. I hope they improve their technique so this doesn't happen to other customers. read more

Love this spot! It's hard for me to trust people with my eyebrows.. I've always preferred waxing, but my wax lady was always super busy, so I decided to give threading another chance. Honestly, I haven't looked back since! The ladies here are always beyond sweet and super friendly at both locations. Eyebrows came out okay when I was looking at them in the salon. But once I got into better lighting I notice a lot of hair that was still there and should have been taken off. 15 dollar is very overpriced when I still have to go home and fix them myself. I did go on a Sunday. read more

Their salon is clean and practice superior cleanliness throughout their salon. This is the worse experience I have ever had. I should've trusted the reviews. The lady who wears indian/pakistani clothes attire is so heartless. She completely ruined my eyebrows. I came here after not having threaded my brows for a couple years. I had not too long ago also plucked my brows a bit so I was coming in with concerns that I might not have enough of a "canvas" for the threader to work with leading to potentially overly thin brows. Upon arrival, the shop was clean and there was someone ready to help me immediately. I was sat almost immediately and the threading took no more than 8 minutes. Admittedly, the cost is much more than what I used to pay but I guess everything is just more expensive nowadays. This is the first time Ive ever had my brows threaded by someone other than the lady back at home and I was extremely satisfied and relieved. It's really unfortunate because I've been coming here for years. I just drove here a very long way, I moved. I came all the way over here to make sure that I'm here before 4 PM. It's 3:08 and the doors are locked. I knocked on the door, and the girl at the front barely acknowledged me. All she did was shake her head "no". I got here an hour before closing time. That is not fair to your customers. I actually just called the other location in national city and they're open till 5 PM. She told me that the location in Mission Valley is open until 5 PM as well. So this lady closed the doors two hours ahead of closing time and I just drove all this way. She could have at least came out and let me know in a kind considerate way instead of just shaking her head no, with no eye contact. Short Answer: Yes, would still go here until find a better salon. Long Answer: More than once have I and my husband left with cuts around our eyebrows. This is a convenient location and the price was good, that's why we continued coming, but now the price has increased to $15. I had a rewards card that granted me a free eyebrow thread so I used that. My husband paid for his eyebrow threading in cash and asked for a rewards card and the gal said next time. But technically, he should received a card since he paid for his service. So points docked for that and the other comments mentioned above. read more

I normally love coming here with the taller lady , she's super sweet & not as rough. However, Today I did my eyebrows with the short lady ( talked about in the reviews) It hurt more than usual. She was very rude and was sighing most of the time. When it was time to pay she said it was 16$ & sign clearly says 15$ Do you need a dollar that bad ? really bad service. The eyebrow lady is always very rude and impolite. I have noticed her behavior multiple times. She does not even want to reply back to your hello or hi and does not even have general etiquette of dealing with customers. This was the last time I will go to her, I have been giving her chances from last one year that maybe one day she'll be better, but every time she gives you cold vibes. Unfortunately, it's not close to my house so I won't be a regular customer but it's an option if I'm in the neighborhood. I walked in to get my eyebrows threaded. I wasn't wearing a mask. There were 5 people sitting and waiting ahead of me. Before I could take a seat the lady working, shouts at me from across the room. Asking if I had a mask and if not she could provide one. I replied I didn't and got up to excuse myself and left. I went to a place in Grossmont where I wasn't rudely accosted in this manner. There is a way to do everything. If she would have simply waited till it was my turn and DISCREETLY asked me about the mask. Instead of putting me on blast. Perhaps she would have gotten my business. I don't intend on spending my money anywhere where a company lacks customer service and seeks to embarrass someone over a lousy mask. **Patrons remember we pay their salary. Worst threading ever! Came here after reading the reviews. I would always go to Martina at Superbrows but she is not there anymore so I needed a new threader. The lady at this place did a horrible job. She over trimmed and over threaded my brows What the hell did she do to my left brow( your right). Its like half there! The lady messed up my eyebrows they are so uneven and not only that but I got an allergic reaction right in between my brows. Good place for eyebrow threading! Be prepared for a wait depending on when you go, reasonable prices but what's a bummer is there is a $1 if it's not paid with cash.
