I have been a client of Spa By Nikki since 2023 for eyebrow waxing services, but unfortunately the…read morescheduling reliability has become a recurring issue. Out of the nine appointments I have booked, four have been moved or rescheduled on the day of the appointment. One appointment was rescheduled twice, and another was rescheduled three separate times. The reasons given have included a flat tire, a migraine, and oversleeping. My most recent experience was especially disappointing. I intentionally booked the appointment less than 24 hours in advance, thinking that since the appointment had to be confirmed, there would be a better chance it would be honored as scheduled. Nikki confirmed the appointment at 4:00 PM the day before, but then contacted me the morning of the appointment asking to move it to a different time. Looking back, it seems that morning appointments were the ones most frequently canceled or rescheduled. While I understand that emergencies and unexpected situations can happen, the repeated pattern of same-day schedule changes over multiple years has made it difficult to rely on appointments and plan my own schedule. The quality of the eyebrow waxing service itself has been good, but professionalism also includes respecting clients' time and maintaining reliable scheduling. Unfortunately, the frequent last-minute changes have left me frustrated and unable to confidently book future appointments.

This review is LONG overdue…read more I had an amazing first time with Miss Kelly mid 2024. Before Miss Kelly's Brazil Appeal Waxing, I had been to several other salons. I had been going to one of these salons for at least 3 years. Her suite is currently located in the plaza across H-Mart and 24 Hour Fitness off of Balboa Ave in a secured building on the second floor. Her suite is cozy for Miss Kelly, her client, and the equipment she needs. I highly recommend Ms. Kelly and her services - both to those who are sensitive to pain, and even the "veterans" who have learned to "tough it out." Before booking, please take the time to read her website. You will notice that her pricing is higher than the regular waxing/sugaring establishments. This is because she takes her time prepping you and doing the wax itself, which is also why your appointment will be longer (this varies, of course). This is why the pain level is much more tolerable, and makes the price worth it. It has been a while since my first appointment with Ms. Kelly, but I have returned several times since. I unfortunately had to pause my appointments with her, but await the day that I can resume my appointments. Ms. Kelly is a gem and I CANNOT recommend her enough!

I specifically was serviced by Aneta, who not only represented her business above standard, but was passionate about her work and showed it during my appointment to the highest degree. I had reservations about going only because receiving services like threading (full face with wax) and a microdermabrasion facial are not something I am used to receiving. This was my first time getting my eyebrows done, and I'm very satisfied with the result! I was a walk-in on a Sunday afternoon, had no issues with parking, and was taken in immediately. Jasmin did a wonderful job, and I'll definitely be coming back! I was finished in maybe 10 minutes (tops), and Jasmin even cleaned up the hairs on my forehead in addition to adding some powder to fill in my sparse areas on my brows. Aside from the threading itself, the shop's atmosphere is very calming and relaxing. The ladies working there were all very sweet. I had been growing out my eyebrows for MONTHS, walking around with lil caterpillars above my eyes for what felt like forever, and I was really nervous about finally getting them done. The threading procedure was not only performed with excessive roughness but also resulted in numerous red spots on both of our skin. This review is about 3 weeks overdue, but I'll start off by saying that I had a great first time experience here. Got my brows threaded by Aneta and she did such a great job... and for $13? Absolutely worth it! For the past year, I've been getting my brows waxed/shaped for $45 by my old brow girl and paying that much to maintain brows got so old and just too expensive. I'm glad I took a chance here! There were two people ahead of me and soon after more people were piling in, but I can totally see why! PERFECT! PERFECT! place for threading. Aneta is THE BEST, she is always very warm and friendly she engages in conversation with all her customers even when she is BUSY which is 90% of the time. Her shop is clean and very welcoming. She has a cute play table for the kids as well as drinks and treats. My 8 yr old son already has his own routine when we are there, he gives Aneta a hug, grabs some treats, grabs a juice box from the mini fridge and sits there an patiently waits till his sisters or I are done.
