Today I went in to get my eyebrows threaded for the first time ever. I have always either waxed or tweezed them. As someone with thick natural brows, I've struggled maintaining their shape as many people who wax my brows thin them out too much. Anu was there and was able to immediately get started on my eyebrows. She sat me down and asked what I would like to do with them. I explained how I wanted to maintain their thickness and she got right to work. I was afraid it would hurt but it didn't! And they came out absolutely PERFECT! I was long over due for my eyebrows to be done and the lady I have been going to for over 10 years is taking some time from work and won't be back any time soon. This is the only place I go to to get my eyebrows threaded. It's an easy $10 (which I think it used to be less, but I don't really mind the price too much). Everytime I go it's not too long of wait and I've never made an appointment, I just walk-in. However, if you're planning on getting your lashes done I would suggest making an appointment because there's been times where only one of the ladies who works there was there. Overall, the actual eyebrow threading was quick and the longest part is the wait if there's someone else getting their brows done too. This was my first time at Blinks and the shop is very clean and cute on the inside . It was also my first threading experience . It wasn't as bad as waxing and much more precise but my skin was alittle red after but went away after 20 min . I moved into the area back in April 2017 and yelped the closest eyebrow threading place so I wouldn't have to drive all the way out to Rancho San Diego to my usual go-to eyebrow threading spot near home. Blinks popped up with great 5 star reviews which made me more curious to see what Blinks was all about. I've never ever questioned the business & been to another threading place since! Reema was the first person who threaded me at Blinks back in 2017 and I've since then, been in love with her work on my eyebrows. She's definitely always kind, gentle, & slowly precise with her work. Anu (the owner) has also threaded me when Reema is either with another customer & when she was on vacation for about a month so I got to experience her work as well. I would say Anu is a lot quicker than Reema when it comes to threading but they're both definitely equally skilled with perfection! I have no preference on how quick/slow the work is, as long as the outcome is what I asked for & they both never fail. read more

Wont be going back till the owner comes back .. 3 times they done effed up my eye brows they made it too thin went tried the 2nd new lady she took my damn skin off and was not even 3rd time went back after 3 months of regrowing hoping to see the owner but she wasnt there again so i gave another lady a chance and this time its uneven she cut threw the brows and covered it up so i couldnt noticed and took skin off the left eye brows so i wont be going back till the owner is back.. can't believe I even tip this workers smh read more

I love getting my eyebrows thread here. I used to go to a place in Hillcrest but it was far, there wasn't parking sometimes and the wait time was any where from 10-25 minutes. A friend told me about this place close to home and I love it. It is so convenient, inexpensive and fast. Anu does a great job! I tried the other lady that works there but I wasn't a fan, my skin is sensitive so it left me with my eyebrows red for the next days and hurting and with Anu that never happens. Apparently the owner Anu is on maternity leave so I got stuck with the new lady. She completely messed up my brows and cut me. My mom also got them done the same day and she said it was terrible. They always do a great job threading my eyebrows. Service is fast even with a line. Everyone is super friendly and asks how you want your eyebrows done. I love this place already ! I've only been in once but I am literally about to go in for my second time today. Usually they tell you to just walk in and not make an appointment. Even if there are 2 or 3 people in front of you, you are only looking at a 15 min wait. The girl is so fast and so good at what she does. I usually have trust issues when it comes to my eyebrows but she really did an amazing job, and she also recommend to start using castor oil so my eyebrows can grow more full.
