AVOID THIS PLACE OR RISK WASTING YOUR TIME AND MONEY! I had an extremely disappointing experience with this LaserAway location. It was a classic bait-and-switch scenario. During my initial consultation, I was quoted a specific price for the service. The very next day, I was told the consultant had underquoted me, requiring an additional payment. I paid $1,200 while my wife contributed $1,800 to proceed. They urged that we pay the additional $1,800 as this price could not be guaranteed in the future. They assured me that one of LaserAway locations in Los Angeles has one of the Kardashians as a customer (hook). Unfortunately, the procedure delivered no visible results at all--please let me make sure I stress that point: NO VISIBLE RESULTS at all! Despite my being assured of noticeable improvement immediately. And that this was just beginning my "journey" to rid myself of smile lines. When I followed up, manager Tamara assured me of a full refund. She promptly returned my wife's $1,800, but my $1,200 was not refunded. Tamara said regional director Monica would call me, but it took nearly five days to hear back (line). Instead of resolving the refund, Monica suggested I return and purchase additional treatment units to "fix" the issue. This was disappointing, as I expected them to simply correct their mistake rather than encourage more spending. Also, they offered me some type of face scrub or rather. I appreciate the partial refund, but the overall process left me frustrated. I would caution others to get all pricing and expectations in writing before proceeding. (sinker). I have a very bad experience at this location today I went there for lip filler injections. Their nurse was very inexperienced, had no professional behavior with the customer and no work experience. She inserted the needle into my lip very unskilledly which caused my lip to be injured and bleed. Her hands were shaking while working and she didn't even know what to do. They hire very low level and inexperienced nurses for cheap and they don't care about the quality of their work but they charge a lot of money from the customer. Even when I complained, they didn't pay attention and were not responsible. Their only behavior when selling their products is good with the customer I had several packages with them, laser and Botox, I am not satisfied with the effect of any of them. With customer service, i think there is a certain way to talk to a client especially a potential client. I got this ad for a 75% off deal, so i entered my info and got a text confirming a call. My schedule changed and wasnt able to make it but i still wanted details on the deal - the person named Evelyn just said "no sorry we have to explain the process we can reschedule" - no additional details, no alternative scheduling recommendation, just flat out no customer service really. Do NOT go to LaserAway in Chula Vista, CA. I originally went in for fillers, but instead I was sold 80 units of Botox. The technician who was supposed to perform my service was reassigned to another client, and I was treated by someone named Regina instead. Regina was rude, unprofessional, and dismissive of my concerns. She did not take the time to properly explain the treatment or address what I wanted. She performed: * 3 injections on each crow's feet (12 units total) * 1 injection on each side of my lip (4 units total) . 8 injections on my upper forehead that's total (16 units.) Grand total 32 units That should not have added up to 44 units the way she calculated it. I believe I was overcharged for units I did not receive. Now I have a bulging forehead that is pushing down on my eyebrows, which was never discussed as a risk for the areas I wanted treated. I contacted Tamara, who said she is the manager. She told me Monica, the regional director, would call me. I waited nearly 5 days before hearing from her. After finally speaking with Monica, she suggested I come back and purchase MORE units to fix the issue. That is completely unacceptable. Instead of correcting their mistake, they are trying to sell me additional Botox. I have contacted the CEO and plan to report this to the Better Business Bureau as well. During their B1G1 thermage sale, I had to make a booking for it! This location is very nice and staff are super sweet. Upon arriving, I was greeted right away and got my thermage done right away. I love how simple it is inside. The nurse that did my thermage was soooo sweet and made me feel comfortable during the whole entire procedure! Tbh it HURT so bad!! I did my face and certain areas burned so bad but it was stated that this is normal... if you stay calm and don't sweat / get nervous, I noticed it doesn't hurt as bad and is more bearable.
