The TGF booster and retinol was a game changer. She has such knowledge and curiousity in knowing the products and the science to it that you know you are consulting from someone who knows "skin" very well. Her goal aligns from my goal, which is having to use less make up in the end because you dont need to cover up what you already have: beautiful glowing skin. I went back to try out more products from Le Miuex and had another Brazilian and underarm waxing and felt well taken care of. She just makes it easy breezy and the whole experience of having such a good experience made me feel my time and money was well spent. I am pretty much a repeat customer now and I am so glad her spa is just 5 minutes away from my house. I dont usually do reviews unless i felt it is deserving and i wrote a review on her twice!

Evelyn suggested a different facial from the one I originally booked and said it would be a better option for my skin. She's the expert so I agreed. We also added on the red light therapy. My skin had no problems with the facial, in fact, my skin felt so hydrated and it was so glowy afterwards! Evelyn's face massage technique was very relaxing, especially around the eye area. Unfortunately the facial had to end, but I already knew I would return. One thing I really appreciated was after the facial, there was no membership pitching or product pushing. It's annoying and really uncomfortable to be bombarded with a pitch after a relaxing service. They do have a membership which I am considering doing, but the only thing holding me back is lack of availability on Saturdays for massages. I also don't live close by which is why I need Saturday availability. But then again, the membership price is totally reasonable compared to other "envy" places. I'm sure I could make it work. At my follow up, I told Dr. Rullan that I was really happy with my results and did not need any additional injections. We briefly discussed possibly doing a peel or laser in the future, and I told them I needed to look at my schedule and would get back to them. When I went to check out, I was surprised when I was told the visit would be $130. I explained that I had not been told there would be a charge for the three week follow up and that, had I known, I would not have scheduled the appointment because I was already happy with my results. This was especially confusing because my initial consultation had been complimentary and I had paid $130 for the injections themselves. Dr. Rullan kindly came over and waived the fee, and I apologized for the misunderstanding. Unfortunately, what happened afterward left me feeling incredibly humiliated. Mary, the office manager, told me, "You don't go out to eat without paying, do you?" She told me that the doctor's time is valuable, that a consultation or even asking a question about a procedure is a $130 fee, and that I was no longer welcome back. I completely understand that a physician's time is valuable, and I have no problem paying fees that are communicated to me beforehand. My issue was never about expecting a doctor's time for free. I simply was not aware that the follow up I had been instructed to schedule would cost another $130. I had actually been very happy with Dr. Rullan and was considering returning for a peel or laser treatment, which makes the way this interaction ended even more disappointing. I wish the fee had been clearly communicated when the follow up was scheduled and, more importantly, that the misunderstanding had been handled with kindness and professionalism rather than making me feel embarrassed and unwelcome.

I started applying chamomile compounds to help relief the symptoms, which by the 10th day were worse. Googled the symptoms and apparently were from brow ptosis; I felt hopeful because it said I was not losing my vision (that's how it felt on right eye). While I was told the injector would call me, I never got a call to at least do an evaluation. I do recommend the place for facials, however, based on my experience with Botox and the injector, I would never get Botox there again nor recommend it to anyone.

It's been less than 2 months I been visiting this clinic, I Just Love It, I have tried all kinds of diet pills, excersice, injections and nothing have worked, I had cellulite on top of cellulite and now my life has changed, I am almost cellulite free, no sagging inner thighs but most of all, I have been treated very nice, they are very friendly, I brought 3 of my friends and my sister to get treatments and we are very happy with the results, I mean I know things wont happen from day to night but I have lost almost 18 lbs and I feel great. I LOVE this place! Every time I go to an appt. I feel like I am meeting up with friends. The staff is very friendly and always helpful. I have done a total of 6 lipo laser treatments and I definitely see results. I only have 2 treatments left and I'm sad that I won't be seeing these guys on a weekly basis anymore. I purchased the 4 week plan, which included 4 sets of laser lipo, weightloss injections, and a colon therapy. All of these really helped me to stay motivated and keep lossing weight. Also, the center is really convenient for me since it's south bay and I don't have to drive far and the staff is great. read more

I have a lot of mixed feelings about my experience here…read more Firstly, the spa is beautiful -- brand new, super clean, aesthetically pleasing, in the Otay Ranch town center near a ton of other stores. Each encounter I've had with the staff was great. From booking my appointment over the phone, to my interactions with the front desk and nurse the day of -- everyone was so sweet and personable. My appointment was for Botox, and although she was super nice, I sensed a few red flags from the nurse I saw. I expressed my concerns and she said based off of Allergan's (Botox manufacturer) recommendations I would need over 60 in my upper face alone. As someone who has been getting Botox about twice a year for the past 7 years, I have never gotten 60 units. I believe a skilled and experience injector would base the number of units needed off of the patient's anatomy and expressions versus what is recommended for each section of the face. It was quite painful as she was injecting -- my injection sites were left scabbed and very sore until several days after. It has been 10 days since my appointment, and unfortunately my results are the opposite of what she intended, enhancing my concerns. After getting injected, the receptionist, who stated she was actually an esthetician helping the front desk, took almost 30 minutes and multiple phone calls to her colleagues to check me out, as she wasn't familiar with redeeming the promo I had signed up for, or applying the amount I pre-paid to the service. Again, although she was very nice, this probably would've taken less than 10 minutes if an actual patient coordinator was up front. Lastly, during the initial consultation I had with the nurse, I expressed I was also interested in a specific laser treatment. The receptionist mentioned a quote would be emailed to me the following day. I have yet to receive that information, as I've never received an email. I believe this is LJC's newest location, so I can understand the numerous hiccups. I truly wish I could give them a better rating, however, I do believe there needs to be some fine tuning.
