1-Star Review I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience here was disappointing from start to finish. During my initial Botox appointment, I clearly stated that I did not want "Spock brows." Instead of acknowledging my concern, the nurse gave me a slightly sassy, dismissive response along the lines of, "Oh, I've been doing this long enough." That should have been my first red flag. At my follow‑up visit, I mentioned that both I and my mother (during a video call earlier that day) noticed the Spock brow effect. Rather than listening, the nurse pulled up before-and-after photos and insisted my brows looked "fine." I look at myself every day -- I know what I looked like, and it was not fine. Instead of addressing the issue, she then tried to upsell me on additional Botox to "even out" my crow's feet. I declined. When I later called to schedule another follow‑up to correct the Spock brows, I was told to send photos and that a nurse would call me back within 15 minutes. No one ever called. My subsequent calls were not returned, and now the phone number doesn't even accept my calls at all. To make matters worse, during both of my visits, an employee was on a personal phone call dealing with some kind of personal drama -- loudly enough that it was impossible to ignore. It added to the overall sense of unprofessionalism. Between the dismissive attitude, the lack of accountability, the upselling, the unreturned calls, and the unprofessional environment, I cannot recommend this place. I wish my experience had been different. read more

After having the same doctor inject me for 10+ years, I was hesitant to try a new place for my Botox but I had no choice because I moved. I could not be more pleased to have found this gem of a place. My nurse injector Lacey was incredible! She greeted me, checked me in and gave a thorough consultation for my Botox appointment. She took her time listening to my needs, mapping out my face and paying attention to symmetry which most places skip over! I loved her recommendations and felt very at ease and was actually really excited for the results! I'm incredibly pleased with my 1st appointment and am scheduled for a 2 week follow up where they do free touch ups if needed. Price was out of this world compared to what I was paying in Orange County! And I just can't say enough good things about Lacey. So knowledgeable, so warm and caring, beautiful lady inside and out and truly cares about her patients and their outcome! I think I found my forever med spa! Thank you! You got yourself a loyal customer! read more

I had an amazing experience at SD Med Spa Rancho San Diego! I recently had a facial with Cristin, and she was absolutely wonderful. She was knowledgeable, gentle, and made the entire treatment so relaxing. The facial even included a massage, which made the experience feel like a true spa day. The spa is clean, welcoming, and the entire team was friendly and professional. You can really feel the positive energy, and it shows in the level of care they provide. I highly recommend SD Med Spa Rancho San Diego to anyone looking for quality skincare treatments and exceptional customer service. I can't wait for my next appointment! read more

This MedSpa is truly the best! From the moment you walk in, you're always greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The doctor really knows exactly what you want and need, and makes sure you feel comfortable the entire time. They never cut corners or go cheap on their products, they always give you the quality and results you deserve. I recently got Botox for my eye lines and a little on my forehead, and the experience was amazing. Emilie was my doctor. She is the best. The process was very quick, smooth, and almost completely painless. I could tell right away how skilled and precise the doctor was. They are always on top of their Botox and make sure you leave looking refreshed and confident every single time. I highly recommend this MedSpa to anyone. It's the only place I trust for treatments like this. read more

Pretty disappointed.. we first went there about four weeks ago and when I made appointment, it was cool but then when we went in, the nurse was super pushy telling us that we needed like 50 or 60 units. but every time, my friend and I have gone, you know we've only got like 30 and I'm OK with some wrinkles.. that turned out to be a disaster because after two weeks, we had so much movement. It was the same nothing changed. So then I called spoke to the owner who was amazing by the way saying that you know we could come back in actually get what we needed and then so it canceled each other out. So my friend and I were both happy and when we go back, our nurses super cool gives us more units than we had prior. Then after two weeks, you would think that we wouldn't have any movement or maybe like a tad bit no, we still had the same movement so she adds more Botox when we do a two week touchup and then we get charged more. I'm super disappointed in this place because we go in we spend $700 to get whatever it doesn't work and then we go back again and now this is our third time so hopefully the third time we can't move so when a total I put 91 units of Botox and I still had movement which I think is ridiculous super disappointed the receptionist was not friendly. I wish I would've spoke to the manager again. so I will never return to this place because I've been so disappointed. The only reason I gave it a two star rating was because the owner was so nice in the beginning.. read more

I want to start off and say this classy and modern med spa just opened up in my neighborhood July 1st. I was dying to try this place out and to say the least I was more than impressed! The customer service all around is absolutely amazing here! I had gotten a lip flip and RF microneedling with nurse Hayley and a hydrafacial with Letty the esthetician and they made my experience magical. They were both extremely informative and made my experience so easy and absolutely 100% PAIN FREE! If you're looking to step into a modern med spa with the best team of girls i've ever met, then you really need to stop here and become a regular! Thank you all so much!! read more

This place is definitely a 5 star all around. First of all the place itself feels like a spa, so clean and just a calming atmosphere. The ladies at the fort desk are so sweet! They welcomed me very nice (which at other laser places they make you feel like they are doing you a favor lol). I did an under arm laser treatment with Erin, it was my first time so I was a little bit scared from the pain, however it didn't hurt at all! Just a small zap. Erin is just amazing!! She kept on making sure that I was feeling comfortable, and answered all my questions and concerns. This is the type of place that you know, in a few months they'll be packed! Btw- I also purchased a facial cleansing gel from their dermatologist, cost a little high but worth every dollar, works like magic. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for any treatment, you can tell they are all so professional. read more

Was hesitant to get Botox as I have never gotten it before and didn't know if I needed to get it quite yet. I stopped by the grand opening and after talking to some of the ladies there I was feeling confident and ready to give it a go. I had my first appointment with Carley a little over a week ago & I could not be more impressed!! I didn't realize before what a difference it would make...and I'll let the pic speak for itself. Safe to say I'm OBSESSED. I could not be more happy with the results! The salon was beautiful and everyone there makes you feel so comfortable and relaxed!! Sd med spa is truly unique in east county. What a gem of a place. I got my hydra-facial here with Letty and wow. Just wow. Her technique was incredible. She is so thorough and educational and they use the best products. Letty is so skilled and the facial massage and vitamin c serum were my absolute favorite parts. My skin was so Dewey and fresh all day I didn't not want to wash off the products. Her recommendations and advice were spot on and I can't wait till my next appointment for Botox and fillers. And the sprinkle on top - the place is beautiful, the girls are so kind and uppity. I felt spoiled and left looking beautiful. Thank you SD med spa. I just need a monthly membership now. Do yourself a favor and book an appointment. read more

Oh my gosh! The SD Med Spa! I had such a great visit there recently. I heard of the opening not to long ago and knew I had to stop by. When I walked in to the med spa, I was immediately welcomed and cared for. Everyone there was so nice and made me feel at home. I went for a hydrafacial and Botox and was so happy with my care and results. The hydrafacial with Cassandra was absolutely amazing, and the Botox with one of the nurses, Hayley, was awesome. She was extremely knowledgable and truly understood what I was looking for with my Botox. I already booked myself out for RF micro needling with Hayley, and I am so excited! read more
