Extremely disappointed and frustrated with my experience. I purchased 8 full body laser sessions based on the promises made by the recruitment team, who confidently guaranteed noticeable results. After completing all 8 sessions, I saw zero difference. When I voiced my concerns, the staff at the location didn't offer any real solution instead, they pushed me to buy 4 more sessions, claiming I needed more. I did purchase 4 more sessions... and still, barely saw a 20% reduction. What's even more upsetting is the attitude from the receptionists several of them were rude, dismissive, and clearly more focused on pushing sales than listening to client concerns. It honestly makes no sense why would I keep paying for more sessions when I'm clearly not seeing results? There was no accountability, no follow up, and no alternative offered. Most of the nurses I had were wonderful. However, a few were clearly rushing through the appointments and missed multiple areas, which may have contributed to the poor results I received. I spent a significant amount of money expecting real change, and I feel completely misled. I would not recommend this location or service to anyone expecting honesty or results. read more

I cannot afford to waste that much money and time on the technology they tout that (I've learned).. simply doesn't work. It's givinggggg SCAM! If LaserAway makes an error on your account it is going to be a nightmare trying to get it corrected because apparently there are no supervisors at the LaserAway locations and they refuse to transfer you to the people who can actually correct issues. A LaserAway rep contacted me and got me all squared away with a promotional quote. I purchased 8 CoolSculpting applications but only 4 applications were loaded to my account. I noticed this a few months after I used 4 applications. I called on 4/16/2025 to get this corrected. It took much longer than it should have because the receipt erroneously showed only 4 applications which did NOT match my quote. On 4/16 I called in to the LaserAway Hillcrest location and the receptionist there told me that she saw the misalignment and that it would be taken care of next business day. A month later, I see that it's still not taken care of. On 5/22/2025 I called in again because the 4 applications were not showing on my account. Here's where it gets wild - I called the Hillcrest location, they passed me off to the La Mesa location. The La Mesa receptionist tells me that she can't fix it and she can't transfer me to someone who can fix it. She says that I can call ANY other location to get help. I call the Hillcrest location back and she legitimately tells me "the rep who quoted you this price is the only one who can fix it and she's on leave so you can call back in 2 months." Then she has the AUDACITY to offer another promotion to purchase 8 more applications LIKE WHAT!?!? After I have a good laugh she says that she can have the "directors" call me back tomorrow. Y'all think $1k is enough for small claims court??? Cause I'm feeling realllll petty! read more

LaserAway (Avocado Branch): I signed up for laser treatment at LaserAway after doing some research and reading positive reviews. However, I soon realized that good reviews do not always guarantee a good experience. Since June, I have been experiencing poor service from the LaserAway branch at Avocado. On multiple occasions, they have scheduled appointments for me, which required me to take time off from work, only to cancel or reschedule at the last minute. My most recent appointment was on September 6th at 12 PM. I received a confirmation text, to which I replied "yes," and I even arranged time off from work. Later that night, I received another text saying they had to reschedule my appointment due to a different nurse being scheduled. I called them to confirm and to inquire about canceling my plan entirely. The receptionist told me she would check and call me back, but I never received a call. The next day, on the date of my appointment, I called again to check if it was still on or if I could get a refund. The receptionist pretended the call was disconnected and then ignored my subsequent calls. When I called from a different phone number, she answered immediately. I am not typically someone who complains, but I feel it is important for other customers to be aware of this situation. I don't know if this is an issue only at the Avocado branch or if it's a wider problem. It almost feels like they prioritize certain "VIP" customers over others. When I asked to speak with a manager or someone in charge, the receptionist bluntly told me there was nothing she could do and that she would let the director know. I hope whoever manages this place gives me a call because they need to know how their staff is treating customers. Overall, I am extremely disappointed with the service and lack of professionalism at this branch. I hope this feedback reaches the right people so they can make necessary improvements. read more

This location will frequently cancel you last minute-if you were to give less than a days notice to reschedule there's a penalty associated with it, however, they have no issues canceling to add another customer in your place. I am relatively new to laser hair removal, but thinking it's got to be better than wax. Had some issues. The video consult with Lexi was fine. And so I set up a consult in office at this location. The front desk person was very helpful and was told that the medical clinician (or technician) could give you a specific consult when she finished with a current patient. I didn't mind waiting and waited patiently for 43 minutes and when the person came out she had this "what do you want" look on her face. I started to explain, she interrupted once and I asked if we could move out of the lobby to discuss. She told me she was busy with clients and that I can set up a phone consult. I apologized for being a bother and promptly left. Apparently this place is not for people like me. Like so many others, if I could give zero stars, I would. They make deals over the phone using bait and switch pricing. I fell for their lies and booked a Thermage treatment for my face neck tummy arms and front of my legs. Went to my first appointment and unfortunately the treatment was beyond painful, so I did not proceed with doing my neck and then cancelled the treatment for the other areas. I had to call several times the original salesperson to have them remove charges they applied BEFORE ANY SERVICE was rendered. Is that even legal??? Anyhow, I was quoted a price over the phone for both areas, neck and face, of $1375, and $3375, for the other three areas. When they finally removed the $3375, charge, a balance of $2000, remained. I again reached out on several occasions asking why am I being charged that much when in fact, it should have probably been half of the originally quoted price of $1375, since I only ended up doing one area. The salesperson Annette stated that's how much for one area!!!! What a complete lie! I also reached after my complaint to the BBB, a supposed manager from Laseraway reached out to me and to date, has done nothing! My advice to anyone contemplating going here, DO NOT GO!!!!
