C'est La Vie is a hair salon that I would rate as above average. The salon is clean, orderly, and they follow all the safety standards of Covid-19. The stylists are professional and very diligent about sterilization and sanitizing their work station with the utmost care. I was very impressed!! I do have a certain stylist I have gone to for years and she is FABULOUS!! Her name is Lisa Landers and I can't say enough wonderful things about her!! Sarah is extremely sweet and did a terrific job on my nails with the OPI gel polish! They lasted for weeks (which was important since I was getting married and needed them to look tip-top!). Would love to try her adorable glitter toes that my friend Kari is always sporting. So cute (and I wouldn't necessarily think of myself as a "glitter toe" kind of gal if you get my drift). Sarah the nail specialist, is nothing less than AMAZING. She is creative, sweet, HONEST, hard working, and has always made sure your satisfied before you leave her. She does everything from hand painted nail art (always spectacular), gel polish, colored acrylic(any color you could imagine, if she didn't have it, she would make it quickly for you), the glitter toes are always adorable, not to mention her quiet time pedicures, you can't get any better than Sarah. Sorry to be the first to write a " non 5 stars review". I had an important event for my work, and wanted to have an up-do. I didn't bring a picture with me but i had an idea on what i wanted and i brought a small pic on my phone. Basically , I just wanted a side up-do. It took her like 20 minutes, she put some bobby pins behind my head and then curl the rest of my hair. I wasn't a fan of how the hair were on the front but i kinda warmed up to it after i played with it later on at home. I paid $40 and be warned she doesn't take credit card, even if on the store window, there is a mastercard/visa logo. I love this place! Just got my nails and hair did yesterday and both turned out great. If you weren't looking for this place, you'd never even know it exsisted; it's local is kinda near industrial businesses. I really didn't know what to expect walking in, so I was pleasantly surprised by the beautiful decor in the salon. I went to this place after reading reviews and must say that Jenne did a great job on my color. I'm not use to the salon thing and went there to check it out before making my appointment. Jenne took the time to consider my skin tone and eye color to find a new hair color that would look amazing and she did a wonderful job!! The place is very nice and out of the way. Everyone seems very friendly and while I was there I saw all ages from starting kindergarten to the elderly and both men and women! Steven was great! He entertained our party for hours literally hours while we ate, drank and watched the game. The food was okay-ordered the spinach dip note to everyone- it has mushrooms. I only come to C'est La Vie to get my nails done with Sarah. I've lost track of how long I've been going to here, but it's about 3 years I think. Her pedicures are awesome! She uses hot stones on your legs and it is very relaxing. She also has her own little room so it's not like other places where you are lined up in a row with a ton of other people.
