Aeesome $1 jewelry sale! Bought 30 necklaces & charms!
    Laurie Y.

Great sale the other Sunday when Kahala Mall was having a HUGE SIDEWALK SALE with the Hawaiian Airlines Miles promotion! Adore had all kinds of Jewelry for sale! $1 each for necklaces, headbands, earrings, bracelets, charms, etc. I spent $30 for 30 items! what a BARGAIN!!

    Butterfly necklace for $12 !!

It was my first time shopping at Adore and I loved it! I went with my sister to look at the jewelry and face masks! Everything was so cute and affordable! The two workers were so sweet and nice! I felt bad because there was a really rude customer already in the store at the line complaining and being mean to them. They handled the situation very well and were super patient! My sister and I endes up buying a face mask and jewelry! I got a butterfly necklace and a blue floral mask! Super cute!

The girl in the picture could cost this business to close because of her uneducated remark.

Adore Kahala ... Beware!!! Seen some items I wanted to try on. Only 2 dressing rooms to try on clothes. While changing in the dressing room I could her a female and a male talking and giggling in the room next to me. It made me feel uncomfortable knowing a man was in a ladies dressing room. So I put my clothes on and headed to the cashier. I addressed the situation to the 2 young girls at the register. She told me, " well if it's her husband, I don't see the problem". I said, " really, so if I walked around the dressing room half naked, it's ok for him to see me half dressed? Or "if I came out half naked, she would get made at me that her husband sees me undressed?". " I said where is my privacy?". The employee had no response to that. I can understand if your husband or boyfriend is waiting outside the dressing room, but to be inside??? Where is the rights to my PRIVACY ? ... especially in a woman's clothing store. What if he was a pervert? Men know better not to be inside a women's dressing room also. When you don't educate your kids they don't understand that this is the reason why society has changed. They think it is normal. Businesses hire young kids to run their business, but it could actually cost your business to lose money. This place has lost my business for good!!!

A lot of the clothing pieces travel well and are versatile. You can look beach ready and dress it up with the right accessories and shoes. Last purchase I made was for a dress item that was too long. They provided alterations so I got the dress and a week later picked it up. It was perfect! Overall, ladies you can't go wrong here. The have flattering tops, pants and dresses. My mom is into fashions that show off the great designs that appear on a Japanese kimono and obi. So, it was really cool to finally visit Montsuki. A less well known local designer along the lines of Anne Namba (http://www.yelp.com/biz/anne-namba-designs-inc-honolulu ), the Yamasaki's have been custom designing kimono inspired clothing and accessories for years. I finally met Patty and she was very nice. Hearing all the stories from my mom and friend's mothers, I was interested to see what kind of stuff she had. Much of her clothing is quite elegant, I guess that's mainly a result of using kimono textiles as your base canvas. It's all very intricate and well made. She does quite a bit of custom work also seeing as she made a beautiful dress for my friend's mother. She sells everything from dresses, tops, jackets, purses, and if she doesn't have it, you can probably have her make one for you. Anyway, you've probably driven past this small boutique and not even known it. It's located right on Koko Head Avenue (close to the corner near Waialae Avenue). Go upstairs to a small hallway, you can actually see the sign from the street. Parking is in the metered lot behind.
