Adore at Kahala Mall are always a pleasure to shop at. I live in Ewa Beach and Kahala Mall is my favorite mall to shop. The 2 lovely employees were so helpful and sweet. I didn't get their names but it was around before 11am/12pm on 1/25/26. I was shopping for wide leg jeans and One of the employees with a friendly smile had set a room up for me while I shop...twice lol. Another employee had advised me to go a size smaller without hesitation and she was right because of how stretchy the jeans were...size 7 to a size 3 and the length is perfect for a 5 ft women . I went in with my family. A extremely warm and welcoming employee welcomed me. Loved her energy she was younger but as I went further in I was met with an older worker I didn't get her name before I could I was met with her snobby attitude. My relative was asking about some clothes and she seemed uninterested in us but was extremely enthusiastic towards a woman who bought two dresses. By the time we checked out I was met with the same nice employee. But would I come back I don't think so although I love the merchandise the one employee who was snobby and just out of touch with what aloha is ruined the experience. It honestly was extremely rude and I've never felt so uncomfortable and unwelcome like how the worker made me and my family feel. I would have gladly bought a piece full price from you folks, but it was made clear by her attitude that once I chose something from the sale rack I wasn't the kind of customer she'd be nice to and show common decency to. Adore always has the cutest selection of clothing and jewelry! Although I never seem to fit any of the clothes well (since I'm a very short and smol Asian girl), their rings are PERFECT. I've bought a few from here and absolutely love them - plus they're very reasonably priced ($8 each I believe). It's fun to sift through their assortment since there's a lot of unique ones. The workers are nice for the most part, but since most of them are young, I've noticed they talk amongst each other a LOT even when there's customers in the store that seem like they could use help. It's personally fine with me since I don't like when associates talk to me while I shop, but as someone that used to work in retail, I find it just a liiiiittle bit unprofessional. read more

I'm rating this store at kahala mall a three star because usually when I go in it's a good shopping experience. But I went in today on a side walk sale day and the cashier was very rude. The pants I tried on had a huge stain on the side and when I asked if they had another small the girl just said that's all we have. Didn't even bother looking. I've worked in retail myself for years and would have gone to double check even if I knew there was none left. They were not that busy when I went and the other girl working went to look. Adore has been in Kahala Mall for a long time. I honestly usually pass by on my way to the theaters or to other stores because it's kind of tucked away in a corner of the mall. However, they do often participate in Kahala Mall side walk sales, so on my most recent visit to Kahala Mall, I found a sweater like thing on a sale rack. It was 50% off because it had a small hole in it. I was a little desperate for something like it and bought it. For $18, I didn't feel like it was he best deal in town, but I couldn't find something similar and for the same price across the way at FE.... I checked. Aside from clothes, they also sell Aloha waterproof bags (so cute!!) and other accessories. They even have jewelry. The girl helping me was really nice. So no complaints there. When I was checking out, she made me sign my own receipt acknowledging that I understood that I could not return the sale item I purchased. I thought that was kind of weird, but it makes sense, I'm sure they've dealt with customers who complain they were not told of the policy. read more

I'm all for supporting local businesses but the sales crew is so unprofessional. One in particular -- middle aged Asian lady named Tracy. Talking bad about customers while they're shopping and spending money in the How shameful and unprofessional. Wow. I was shocked to hear her insulting a customer to a fellow employee. This place is the cutest with the sweetest girls. They are always so positive and will help you out together the best ensembles! I shop here all the time. It's usually random. It's the first clothing store you'll see when you walk into the Kahala mall, and should catch your attention with the fun and trendy display! I am so happy to see this store thriving through everything our island has been through with 2020 and all. Just got back from Black Friday shopping. Our first stop was Adore Kahala at 3:30am. Stores opened at 6am. We were ready for the great 50% off sale! ... we were but I don't think Adore was. 2 inside dressing rooms with a door and 2 outside dressing rooms with black sheer curtains... 2 cashiers. The wait for the dressing rooms were ridiculous. 2 hours later, we were out of the store. I also think that customers should have received a free tote bag... maybe the first 50 or something. Spending $100 or more to get a bag is hard when every inch of space is filled with people. So hard to shop when the racks are packed... Love the sale and the clothes but Adore needs a better system. read more

Adorable store with a vast array of clothing styles to choose from--there's plenty of pieces to suit different styles, and a vast majority seem to be geared towards individuals in their teens to young professionals. Interior seems a bit cluttered, but the selection makes up for it. Adore offers great customer service, which extends to their IG page as well. Little tip: if you see a style that you like on their posts/stories and it's not yet available on their website for purchase (in case you're out of the area or can't drop by the store physically), chances are they'll post it to their website if you ask! Adore is one of those independent boutique women's clothing stores. The Financee likes this store because it has many trendy style and some bargains. She recently bought a couple nice looking belts from here. One of the only rubs and it's a major one, is that the quality of some of the fabrics and construction seemed to sit on the lower side. I could see that many of the fabrics here needed to be hand washed. Some were way too flimsy to be put in any sort of machine. I guess that's what you get when you go boutiquing. Most of them were fine though. The majority of the store is slightly on expensive side though, but that's no revelation seeing that it's a boutique store to begin with. Adore Kahala ... Beware!!! Seen some items I wanted to try on. Only 2 dressing rooms to try on clothes. While changing in the dressing room I could her a female and a male talking and giggling in the room next to me. It made me feel uncomfortable knowing a man was in a ladies dressing room. So I put my clothes on and headed to the cashier. I addressed the situation to the 2 young girls at the register. She told me, " well if it's her husband, I don't see the problem". I said, " really, so if I walked around the dressing room half naked, it's ok for him to see me half dressed? Or "if I came out half naked, she would get made at me that her husband sees me undressed?". " I said where is my privacy?". The employee had no response to that. I can understand if your husband or boyfriend is waiting outside the dressing room, but to be inside??? Where is the rights to my PRIVACY ? ... especially in a woman's clothing store. What if he was a pervert? Men know better not to be inside a women's dressing room also. When you don't educate your kids they don't understand that this is the reason why society has changed. Went in a couple of days ago just to look around, to find out the entire store was 40% off, which was a good deal considering their ring selection was cute and all already under $10. The face masks that they sell are genuinely so cute and fit well, they have so many options again for all under $10 (these were excluded from the sale, but still worth it!). There was a woman causing a scene, shouting at the sales associates, and stomping around. It was crazy...she had her baby sleeping on her the whole time she was shouting and demanding the workers to refund her for something she had damaged? The two women working were so patient, and still continued to help everyone else in the store despite this unpleasant customer doing the most for attention. Great service on their part!!! I bought a long sleeve dress here in a beautiful dark blue color. However, after just one wash, the seams of the dress already were starting to come apart everywhere at the neck and shoulder area. I tried to be more delicate when washing it, but after a third wash, the dress is now unuseable with very obvious pukas. For such a high price, I expected better quality than something from Forever 21. The dresses on display are always so darling, but I don't purchase from here anymore because of the fabric's cheap quality. read more

Really cute shop in Kahala Mall. I do like the newer store better than the old one, the old store straddle the middle aged mommy and young adult daughter line. Maybe the merchandise changed but recently the items are younger and hipper. However, the stuff is run of the mill boutique items. Which is fine if they weren't selling the same brand as MANY other boutiques for waaaay more. I get it, rent in Kahala Mall isn't cheap. But as a shopper, I'm a bit offended that you think I would pay $50+ for a Naked Zebra top that I could get a few stores down for around $30. It's really not looking so good when pretty much all other boutiques in Honolulu sell Naked Zebra tops for $30 (I could name three off the top of my head) while Adore sells it for $50+. Doubly unfortunate for Adore, I have to report that I was at a discount shop earlier in the week and found really comparable tops in the EXACT BRAND selling for under $15. I would hope they would be a bit more ninja-like and trick people by selling other lesser known brands for that crazy high price. Don't bother with the website-it's a format nightmare complete with spelling errors. The part where you click to shop is an unmitigated disaster. Luckily for you the shopper, I've done my homework. HOUSEWIVES OF KAHALA Adore is an overpriced women's clothing boutique located next to T&C at Kahala Mall. I say overpriced because the various boutique "brands" they carry are for sale at other boutiques for $10-30 cheaper. I understand Adore is in Kahala Mall and In My Closet happens to be right around the corner, but seriously... Who's their target clientele? Housewives of Kahala? (Ex: PAULNKC dresses at Adore run for about $66; Peaches N Cream sells PAULNKC dresses for $36-$58) I'd figure, in terms of competition, you'd want to lower your prices a tiny bit... not jack them up! I'm thinkin' gas stations... There are a ton of boutiques popping up on this island... Competitive prices for cute clothes might work. SALE RACKS After 2 years of boycotting, I finally returned. I was delighted to see that there were 50%-off racks near the entrance. 50% off at Adore is like cashing in a filled up stamp card at another boutique for 10-20% off... Anyway, I perused. I was surprised to see the range of sizes throughout the sale racks. ("L" usually predominates.) I found one dress after another. The sales associate was very nice and gladly started me a fitting room. I meandered around the store with nothing particular in mind; if something was cute and I found my size, I had it put in the fitting room for me. After about 15 minutes of poking around, I had stacked up about 10 hangers... LONG STORY SHORT I bought one 50%-off dress ($66/2 = $33), 1 regular priced dress at $66, 1 belt $19, and a top. My total came out to $170-something. Not too bad for what I bought. Sales associates were nice and helpful especially when I was picking out the belt. HUGE SELECTION Adore has a plethora of stuff: clothing, bags, sticky bras, accessories (cuffs, bracelets, rings, necklaces, keychains, etc.), and even shoes. They even have a whole section for camis and bandeaus! I have no idea how they fit all that clothes and "stuff" in that little, tiny store... I guess that's why it felt a little cramped in there. And hangers kept falling off the racks. I felt like every time I touched a rack, a hanger would fall off! That just means they need a bigger store or that they have a huge selection of clothing to choose from :) VERDICT I'd definitely go back to Adore the next time I'm at Kahala Mall. But maybe after pay day... And maybe I'll only look in the sale racks... (Adore, if it makes you feel better... I like you better than In My Closet.) I frequent this store enough to where they recognize me.....and I live well on the other side of the island! My sister got me hooked on Adore. We even have the exact same dress we bought here. We wore it to a family brunch and we have never heard the end of it since. Some things are a little too "girly" for my taste, however there is a broad enough selection to find a great addition to the wardrobe, especially in the accessories. I LOVE their shoes. Being a sales rep who is constantly on my feet, having comfortable shoes that look cute are a godsend. I can count the amount of times I've walked into the Adore, Kahala Mall location, on one hand. All but one time, did I have an awesome experience here. I walked in, with no intention of buying, just looking, while waiting for my dinner. I was greeted by Sarah and offered help if I needed it. I figure I ask if she had any outfits worthy of a wedding reception, and she immediately stopped what she was doing to help me. She was very attentive, asked questions about my specific style, and pulled some things that I may like. Although I didn't end up with a dress for an occasion, I did find a comfy Neutral Natural dress that could easily be my go-to weekend 'fit. I visited this store a while ago and only now decided to write a review. I did not like my experience there and from that single experience, decided that I would never return. The merchandise was quite cute but certainly overpriced for quality that is so-so. But I can typically forgive that sort of thing. The thing that bothered me the most was the pretentiousness and rudeness of husband of the woman who owned the place. Apparently he was only there because his wife was in LA looking for more clothing for the shop. I tried to make some small talk as I was purchasing something. I can't imagine that anyone would give this GREAT LITTLE BOUTIQUE ADORE one star. Tasha the owner is SUPER SUPER nice and always helps me with a smile and a caring attitude. I shop here regularly and I've never left feeling anything but satisfied with my purchases. There are really cute and interesting things to choose from and not massive amounts of the same tops so you know you probably got one of the only tops in your size on the island. The jewelry is cute and so are the shoes. When they have sidewalk sales or their 50% off rack, I always get a steal on the beautiful blouses. Even my fiance loves shopping here with me! This is one of the cutest boutiques ever! I don't really like driving to Kahala since I live in town, but going to Adore is worth it! They have the best selections of cute tops, dresses, accessories, everything! Whoever picks out their inventory does an excellent job. Every time I go there I have to buy something, I can't help it! You can follow their Instagram at adoreclothing to get updates, since they get new stuff I'm every week. If I still lived in this side of the island, I would be in massive credit card debt. I adore Adore for many reasons, my favorite being their accessories. They have cute handbags, jewelry, scarves, earrings and more and most of what they have is VERY affordable! We're talking chic styles, at CHEAP prices. I've seen a similar style of necklace at another boutique in the same mall for more than 4x the price! Adore is affordable chic without losing any of the style or fashion savvy even though their prices are in my opinion, far more reasonable. I love this store. I am a huge fan of Adore. I discovered the store earlier this year and frequent both locations located in Kahala and Kapolei. I always get compliments on my outfits whenever I'm wearing their pieces. This is also my favorite place to shop for jumpers, they have some of the best selections! During my experiences at both locations, the staff have always been extremely friendly and helpful. Twice I drove down here from the west side just because I love the store so much. If you live on the West side, you know that the trek to Kahala Mall can seem like a pain in the butt. However, because of the service and the products, I found myself not minding the drive to the East side. During the holiday season, my sister kept bugging me about this store. She kept telling me, "We HAVE to go to Adore. You'll love it because everything is just your style." And I'm all for style, the only thing that held me back would be the prices on everything. I reviewed the boutique on Yelp before I even thought about going and for a while I was hesitant about going because looking at "$$$" on Yelp is a little bit intimidating for my wallet (haha). But one day, I decided my sister and I should just go. I mean, it was Christmas. If I have to drive down to Kahala to get someone (*cough* me. haha jk) an awesome gift, then I will take the drive. So, my sister and I go into Adore. I was impressed with their merchandise because like my sister had told me before, everything in there was exactly my style. I loved the different blouses, skirts, and dresses. We were in there for almost an hour trying on clothes and finding different accessories for ourselves and to give as gifts. Throughout our whole time in the boutique, we were always asked if we needed any help and the staff never had a problem helping us find anything. The staff here is very friendly. They make it a point to check up on their customers (and multiple times, I might add). Their staff is proffesional and I've never had a problem the few times I've actually been there. I visited Adore this past weekend. It's such a fun place to shop. They play their music pretty loud, and choice of songs were perfect. Made me want to stay longer. Atmosphere is great and the sales associate working was very helpful, attentive and not always in your face, which I really liked! There was so much to look at. Kinda over load, but atleast you'll find something you like. I noticed they have very few of each size, so the good thing is that, if you get something, you'll not be wearing the same thing as someone else. I find that as I am getting older, I turned another year old in November of this year, I have developed a distaste for the so-called "trends" in fashion. I have made it a commitment to develop a more unique, while still prim and proper, style of my own; hence my frequenting boutiques. One of my favorite is Adore. I will admit that my first impression of the place was not so positive: the customer service staff only greeted me when I left the store, it was overly crowded with their displays, and no one bothered to see if I needed help finding something. However, with an open mind and my fingers crossed for a better experience, the following visits have ALL been very positive. The staff were friendly and greeted me as soon as I came in, were quick to approach me and see if I needed any help, and even offered suggestions on how to amp up a clothing item I was trying on. Sure, the store floor is still stocked with too many clothes but I love how there is a greater variety of clothing available. During my last visit the staff made a great effort to support my sister while she was trying on dresses and gave her lots of compliments. If she started to doubt what she was wearing they tried to reassure her that the clothes fit her well and gave her other ideas for accessorizing her outfit. They even took careful notice of my young nieces (one is the 5 and the other is 7) and helped them find clothes to try on while my sister tried on her clothes. How thoughtful! If you are looking for comfortable, feminine, and unique clothing pieces (or even accessories) I would highly suggest making a stop at Adore :-)! read more
