    Labubu I pulled!
    Leann L.

Found this cute little gatcha/arcade after brunch with the girls and guess what... THEY HAVE LABUBU's. Such a cool concept where you can trade in your plushies for credits. Can't wait for this establishment to expand on more blind boxes because I will be back!

    Labubu

Such a chill spot in the LES! Walked past this place the other day and decided to check it out. Ended up trading in some of my plushies for a Labubu. Definetely gonna bring my little cousins here next time when they come to visit nyc.

Was walking by and this store caught my eye. Claw machines are very fair. Won a psyduck and a JJK cat figure. Worth visiting!

One of my girlfriends was getting married a few weeks before me, and really wanted to check out a wedding expo in the city. She invited me to go with her for the bonding experience and support (initially my internal response was a slow motion resounding Noooooooooooooooooo!) but I love my friend, and with all of my vendors already booked I said 'yeah sure!' Figuring I could help her through the chaos. After the third hair removal vendor offering their service I started to feel a bit self conscious (do I look like the bearded lady!?) we turned the corner and BEHOLD! Here we stumbled upon Magnolia Photo Booth (aka the absolute hit and highlight of my wedding). I initially didn't want a photo booth. My venue wasn't huge, and most of my photo booth experiences revolved around Bar Mitzvahs and trips to the mall in 1998. But after meeting with them, and seeing what they offered (at a really great price). I walked away with a complete change of heart. Their booth was a really good size and fit perfectly with our venue. Accessories were great, staff was very friendly and accommodating and the communication I had with them was wonderful. I had a great time creating the design for the picture printout, and pumped to get the coffee table book with everyone's photos in it. The best part for me was receiving an email from them the day after the wedding. They sent me every photo taken that night. As the bride and groom, we're obviously not able to be two places at once. As we scrolled through the album and saw pictures of Everyone, from my 4 year old flower girl to my 86 year old grandmother goofing around, we were in hysterical laughter, loving knowing our whole family had a great time.

I was going to complain that the booths should have a video screen to show how we're going to look, but I think the lack of one actually allows us to have more candid shots. The photos are also pretty damn good quality too. I love the widescreen looks of the photos too. I thought that our photos are private, but haha, you can get to see them online and look at other people's photos as well. I like the "old time" logo of your booths too. Kudos to you guys for creating and providing these cool booths at yelp events.

Our guests has a blast posing with the hilarious props, and my husband and I had a good laugh at the end of the night as we were looking through the crazy photos our guests left us in our guest book. I was very impressed with the quality of the image prints, especially considering how fast they came out of the printer (and we even ordered double prints to allow guests to keep a copy, and leave us a copy). We even got the digital files of all the booth photos the next day (in less than 24hrs!!) Photo booths are becoming a staple item at weddings nowadays that party rental companies who rent out linens and silverware are carrying photo booths as part of rentals too; but just be aware--they all vary in specs and the higher price of rental does not dictate the quality of your end product! I compared the specs on what several photo booth companies, as well as what a party rental company offered, vs. what NYC Party Booth offered, and we went with NYC Party Booth for a higher quality product at nearly half the price of what was being charged by another vendor offering a lower quality booth. We got to pick the backdrop from a great selection of non-cheesy looking options, and they even customized the booth's welcome screen and the image processing screen to include background photos from our engagement session (taken by our photographer). Of course it also helped that the booth was coming from a company owned by the photographer we vetted and entrusted to photograph our wedding day, but the booth is something I would seriously consider renting again for corporate events and other parties aside from weddings.

There were a lot of cheap one on there but we are very skeptical on how good they really were. We did some more researched and interviewed a lot of vendors for this. Finally we met up with Chris, and he was absolutely so accommodating and reassuring that he made me and my wife feel at ease to move forward with this. He wasn't pushy and went through his demos and packages with us. Come wedding day, it was a BIG HIT...even my mom and her friends wanted to get in on it and she totally forgot about our introduction, ha. The props are so fun and cool, my guests thought it was awesome. I highly recommend this and well worth the money. It makes the party and not be dull.

It's a very cute concept and perfect for hanging with friends or even a photography date. I liked the souvenirs they provide as far as the decorative photo memorabilia. Some of the machines do take quite a bit to develop the pictures but if you're willing to wait, they usually are worth it. A few things to note, cost per strip (usually only one copy provided) is about $8 per machine. Also you should be prepared once you pay (they do accept Apple Pay or digital wallet) for the photos to start snapping right away, since these machines are older they don't have a countdown on screen like the modern day booths to let you know when it will start. Additionally, there's usually only one seat provided in the booths so seating space inside may be limited to at most 2 people at a time. Overall I'm very glad I got to visit and take home some vintage photo strips.
