Children under 36" are free and can get on rides with a full paying adult. Came here just before 11am and the place was half full. We were able to get on rides pretty much straight away. There are 11 rides in total, not all available to children under 36 inches. There are also games kids can play for $5 per go. We kept going from one ride to another. The rollercoaster takes picture as you on the ride and charges $6 for one picture or $10 for two. I bought two and realised upon paying there was a QR (digital download) option for $3 per picture. I asked the lady about it and she said "sometimes it does not work so we don't advertise it". Bought lunch in the venue as well. Chicken tenders and fries were $12.50. Also bought ice cream for $6. Not the cheapest but pretty convenient. There were also magic shows being run every couple of hours. The magician was pretty funny for the kids but after a couple of goes with the same content.. Apart from paying extra for the pictures, I had a great time and will come back again. It's a relatively cheap day out if you go on many rides. It is also a good alternative for the last two weeks of summer breaks when most camps are done for the season.

It's part of the American Dream mall with tons of other attractions, including a water park and an aquarium, so it's a great place to spend a full day.

Luna Park has way more: Cyclone, SlingShot, Thunderbolt, ElectroSpin, etc. Also worth noting, there's no clear indication that you are walking around Deno's or Luna Park. Deno's is kinda embedded and Luna Park kinda surrounds Deno's. It's all VERY confusing. All that said, both offer an awesome time. Just do it.

We first strolled the place to see what we wanted to do (not busy at all at opening time and basically no lines until the afternoon). Then we decided to just buy a $100 card (with $15 bonus in it) and used it as a credit card to buy rides AND food. If you're planning to stay all day long and fit as many rides as you can, you should get a wristband. Otherwise, if you're just going low key just for 4-5 hours like we did, and are satisfied with a few rides, games and food, paying as you go will be cheaper. We have the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk back home but Coney Island dwarfed it. For a Friday, the 2 amusement parks were busy with lots of kids and parent chaperones wearing the same t-shirts. I wasn't here to ride the rides but to wander and take it all in. Ticket prices varied per ride (little kids cheaper than the more thrilling ones for older kids/adults. All day wrist bands also were offered and maybe a better deal if staying a few hours or hitting the big rides. Lots of food options available in and around the parks. The most recognizable one for me was Nathan's Hot Dogs which actually served seafood, burgers and more besides their famous namesake hot dogs. The wooden boardwalk was in good condition and wide. It extended all the way down to the aquarium and Brighton Beach.. lots of benches to sit or sun yourself. Bathrooms were located near the beach but interestingly elevated above. Nice design from the outside but a little cleaner than your typical public bathrooms since there were staff busy cleaning when I popped in. The beaches wasn't as busy as the park and even less people were in the water. Overall fairly clean that day. Lifeguards were on duty, FDNY zipped by in a unique ATV style ambulance and later a patrol showing a good attention to safety and quick response. I'm glad I was able to finally see Coney Island in person. It should have enough options to entertain, thrill or just let you relax.

I'd suggest the website list how many rides are closed on a given day so visitors can decide in advance whether it's worth the trip. Given how much a visit costs, it's frustrating to arrive and find a chunk of the rides unavailable. Second, the food was great, but there should be more healthier options on the menu. Finally, at every ride we visited, the staff seemed unmotivated -- dragging their feet, no greetings, no smiles. I'd recommend that staff orientation emphasize how important it is to welcome guests warmly, ideally with a smile.

My last trip review of SFGADV was in October, 2018, well before the Cedar Fair / Six Flags merge in 2024. For this here review, we'll cover the attractions we experienced on Sunday, July 19, 2026 and our thoughts concerning the visit on the whole. So, let's get down to the business at hand, shall we? The first thing, darlings, is to be aware that cash is *not* king here. In fact, the park is completely cashless. Please make certain you have some form of a cash alternative with you when visiting here. Examples: debit/credit cards, Apple/Google Pay, sugar daddies with these alternatives, etc. Since my bud Ron and I have memberships, we get four free FAST Lanes for each and every visit (don't be jealous!), so waiting long periods of time for rides wasn't a factor for this visit...we skipped four long lines and did four rides, which kept any wait to an absolute minimum. If you're a parkie and plan to do several visits, a membership may be worth its weight in gold, so to speak. And while you're at it, spring for the meal plan and get a beverage cup. Food is not inexpensive so you might want to consider this, especially if you don't want to leave the park and trek over to the nearby Wawa or McD's. A note about the drink cup: it is cheaply made yet it must last you the entire season. DO NOT put it in a dishwasher. DO NOT leave it in a hot car. It will melt like the Wicked Witch of the West and you will be shocked when you find out how much $$ you'll have to shell out (cashless, of course) a pretty cashless penny to replace it. They won't ever give you a freebie...no such thing as a free lunch, especially at Six Flags, so treat the cup as you would your first born. Here are the rides we experienced on this trip and how Your Host rates them: 1. FLASH: Vertical Velocity (B-). It opened last season but this was our first ride on it. Overall, it's exciting and a bit disorienting. The hang time is really cool, but that's about it. I found it sort of meh-ish despite the other stuff, but if we had to wait on that long line, we would've been unhappy, to say the least. Fortunately, we had Fast Lane, so we went directly to the front of the line, which ameliorated any dissatisfaction with the experience overall. 2. Barrels of Fun (F). Content creators gave this some pretty positive accolades so i looked forward to this one. But darlings, this ride is a banger and quite violent. This is a spinning Wild Mouse that was relocated from SF America and had been completely restored. It's pretty, I'll admit, but looks only get you so far. Things start out okay at first but descend into the depths of Hell as the ride progresses. Once the car starts spinning right round baby like a record baby do things become like going a few rounds with Mike Tyson. It's NOT a fun ride (unless you're seriously into PAIN). Rename this ride to "Barrels of Agony' or "Barrels of Torture"...not "Barrels of Fun". 3. Saw Mill Log Flume (B). For a flume, it's pretty darn good and we got soaked...so go in with that expectation. The park did a great job restoring the ride and like Barrels, it's pretty. It's not silky smooth but fun overall. Ideal in hot weather...ideally. 4. Medusa (B+). Your standard B&M floorless looper. Fun and exciting and a recommended stop here. DINING: Best of the West (A-). For park fare, it's pretty darn good. Both of us had pulled pork sandwiches, which come with tater tots, corn bread (they really want to carb one up!) and Cole slaw. Since I'm not an avid fan of the tot, they went largely untouched. The sandwich wasn't the easiest thing to eat so it's was a fork in' experience, but that's okay. Recommended. Overall a nice way to spend a few hours and a nice time. The park looks clean and fresh, and the owners are making great progress in beautifying it. Yes, definitely come visit and get back to me... I recently went to a birthday party in January on one of the coldest days of the year. I honestly didn't get to enjoy it because the party room was unbearably freezing. They had the unit that blew out a b out of warm air but not enough to make the room warm. All of the guests had to be wear their jackets the whole time. We told the workers several times that it was freezing but nothing was ever fixed. I would warn parents to be mindful that if you are throwing a party in the winter, you might have a very cold room. I will return in the summer to see how the AC is and if it is comfortable.

We visited as guests for a birthday party. The facility is spacious with lots of fun activities,…read moreand the kids had a great time overall. However, I think the staff need better training and more consistent supervision. The ball pit is about 3 feet deep, which can be difficult for younger toddlers to climb out of. I witnessed a mother ask a staff member for help because her toddler was stuck. Instead of assisting, the staff member simply stepped into the ball pit and asked the toddler if they could climb out. The child was clearly unable to, which was the reason the mother had asked for help in the first place. In the end, the mother had to climb into the ball pit herself to get her child. Then at the race car track, staff allowed toddlers who were below the recommended height to ride. I personally didn't think this was a major safety concern since the cars have seat belts. However, after one toddler had started riding, the staff asked the child's mother to remove them because they couldn't drive properly. I understand that other children were waiting (including mine), but if staff decide to allow younger children to participate, they should let them enjoy the full experience unless the parent chooses to end it early. The most disappointing experience happened at the Sky Rider attraction. Children under the height requirement were being allowed to ride, but when it was my son's turn, he was stopped and told he was too small. The child in front of him was visibly shorter and had already been allowed to ride several times. Naturally, my son was very upset. I spoke with the staff member to understand why the rules were applied differently. His response was that after he made the comments, he let my son ride once, but "he got sour and ran away." That comment was unnecessary and unprofessional. My son is on the spectrum, and assumptions like that can be especially hurtful. More importantly, all children should be treated fairly. Overall, the playground itself is excellent and offers plenty for kids to enjoy. My biggest concern is the lack of professionalism in some staff interactions.

The mall has 4 stories and many sections to explore. Fast casual food is clustered in a food court together (Vanessa's dumplings, pizza, ect). Sit down restaurants are a floor above (Yard House. Hibachi, ect). Bubble tea and ice cream shops are sprinkled throughout. Place has a mix of luxury stores (Gucci, Tiffany & Co, Hermes) and budget options (Uniqlo, Gap). I also saw a self serve wine bar and a champagne bar. What makes this place stand out is the indoor water park, the Nickelodeon theme amusement park, indoor ski slope with artificial snow and live theater. An H-Mart supermarket and food hall claim residence. They also have a large arcade with claw machines, video games and interactive games. A fun place to just shop, or have fun at the attraction parks.

There were plenty of resting areas in the mall and of a more luxury appeal. This mall boast of an indoor amusement park. The park is not in my opinion work the cost. It appeared that Nickelodeon portion is a separate fee from the waterpark portion. The amusement park portion was in a more crowded and busier portion of the mall. Covering the entire mall didnt seem feasible in one day. I will get back another time as it is huge.

Do I join an expensive gym in Manhattan which would be under-utilized since I come-and-go? I was excited to discover the city-run Constance Baker Motley Rec Center on East 54th Street. They've got a fitness center, gym, track, pool and -- hold onto your hat! -- my annual membership (since I'm a senior citizen) is $25!!! Can you believe it?! Even if you're not old it'll only cost $150 per year. In Manhattan! I've read complaints that seem to permeate the facility. But for my needs -- and I really just joined -- it's great. The fitness room is somewhat antiquated, but has enough of what I want and so far (knock wood) everything works. There's a decent locker room, the staff is polite and the building itself, which dates to 1911, is pretty cool. Curious about the name, I learned that Ms. Motley was an American civil rights lawyer and the first African American woman appointed to the federal judiciary. (I love that the city pays homage to her.)
