Visited for my daughters birthday. Kids had fun, they enjoyed the zip line and rock climbing. My boys enjoyed the games. The one issue I had was, many of the games were out of order. The food is also extremely over priced, I would never pay $5 for a bag of chips.... I did enjoy their lychee and rose wine cooler. Also realized I didn't need to pay, because I did not join in on any of the activities. Now I know... I'd go back

really cool spot to visit in Brooklyn especially if you're a Brooklyn local & want to do something nearby! Check out Groupon for discounted tickets before purchasing on the website / in person. Be prepared for a crowd (even during snow days) on the weekends. I came at 11am & an hour didn't past before it was crowded. Though there's plenty of space and activities to have fun. Also, shower after your visit; I'm not sure what the cleaning process is but there are a lot of people in an indoor space , sweating & not a hand sanitizer dispenser in site !

Fun place to spend a few hours if you haven't been already. Went for adults nughtlm a Thursday evening, so it wasn't too crowded, which was nice. There were no lines. Did the ropes course which was attached to the Zipline. Played some arcade games, some of which were out of service. Climbed some structures and ate some dippin dots. The journey to get there by train included a walk through the neighborhood which was an eye opening experience. This is an interesting place to check out if you are looking for some thrill.

Came for a party. This place is extremely fun for all ages. They have the kids area for 1 to 4 years old. And older. It's arcade games throughout the area which you have to purchase a card for an additional fee. The private party room package is a good size with 2 large tables for around 16 to 20 guests. You get to bring your own decorations and decorate the room according to your theme. I honestly didn't enjoy the food. The pizza was very blah not tasteful. I enjoyed it for the kids and pre teen. They had a blast. Great for kids party.

Go with family and friends and you'll have so much fun. There's so much to do. You have roller skating, rock climbing, video games, timed rock climbing, paint ball, private party rooms and more. Area 53 is huge and perfect for family and friend events. You can make reservations and pay when you arrive. All the staff members are friendly and super patient when you have questions. ENJOY!

Great for birthdays or getting your kids out the house! The have a lot of games and few attractions, kids had a blast. The staff was great and kid friendly they were roaming around answering questions. They have 1 snack vendor but it looked sketchy I ordered popcorn and bottled drinks instead. I wish they partnered with a local restaurant and had real snack foods not carnival snacks. After roller skating a burger would've been nice. Also Make sure to dress warm if you go in the winter months. I had my coat on the whole time ,there was no heat!! I'd come back in late spring , early summer or fall because the kids had so much fun.

However, my slime-loving nine-year-old daughter really wanted to go. As a surprise, I took her. (To save money, only have one adult go.) Here's our experience. 1) Admission: On a Friday afternoon in April, we were able to get tickets online easily. DO NOT WALK IN. You can, but it's the most expensive way to experience Sloomoo. Google promo codes first that work online. A quick Google search revealed three promo codes from influencers that took 20-30% off our tickets. 2) Experience: Once your tickets are scanned and an online waiver is filled out, you'll write your "slime name" on a name tag. Pass through a hall about the history of slime and you're inside the main area. There are several rooms of "buckets" filled with all types of slime with different textures and scents. This was pretty fun and was very relaxing dipping your hands in slime. (Don't worry- you have to wipe your hands clean beforehand with a wipe. There are wipe stations everywhere.) There are a few interactive areas like a giant sling shot, a musical room, a tablet where you pick your slime companion, and a place where you're blindfolded and feel different things in slime holes. (It's not as weird as that sounds.) Part of the experience is making your own slime. You pick what type of slime you want, the scent, the color, and three charms. This took about 20-30 minutes since there are so many scents to pick from. We landed on creamy cloud slime with the passion fruit rose scent, aqua green, and three fruit charms. At the very end, there's an area where you can take off your shoes and walk through slime. Again, you wipe off your feet before and after. Still, if you don't think about how gross it is, it's a unique and fun feeling. 3) Space: There's a single restroom at the start of the museum, but due to a line, staff let us in the staff basement where there are three additional bathrooms. At the very end is a store with all types of slime, slime molds, kits, and more. Our daughter spent $47 of her own money on two slime kits and activator. It's very pricey so limit how much you spend. As a staff member told a kid, "Nothing is free here." 4) Staff: This is where it was a little off. Several staff were a bit odd with the kids. One staff member by the slime making area made a few inappropriate jokes around little kids. Often, staff had to be called to each station so waiting is expected. None were friendly or warm for working with kids. Overall, Sloomoo Institute is worth the experience if you are willing to shell out the money. Our daughter LOVED it and I was surprised how much I did too for having low expectations. However, I'd NEVER come back with that price tag. It's almost offensive.

Lines for everything because it's oversold. We were unable to do any event due to the lines and time slot provided. You can either get hot chocolate OR visit Santa OR take a picture in the sleigh OR play skeeball. Ice skating rink didn't have any room for people to move. We had a free rental included in our admission but the synthetic ice is basically a plastic rink where kids are walking in skates and the parents are walking in plain shoes next to them because it isn't slippery. The best part was the VIP Lounge which had $20 drinks that were almost decent. I would not recommend this to anyone with kids or without. It's really a waste of money and everything has been falsely advertised. I'm going to attempt to submit a complaint as what I was sold was definitely not what I got.

Food there was good but in seaport, I could have gone anywhere else. The Santa hats they give out are worse than dollar store quality, I opted out of getting one. The hot chocolate is actually good, not sure why other people are saying it's not, must of been a bad batch. I actually had two hot chocolates and both were delicious. For the ice skating, if you're under 8 it's cool. It is a small synthetic rink, all the ads say synthetic so shouldn't be a surprise but it was super small. All the decorations I loved, this place is mainly for children. If you wanna go as an adult, pick the normal tickets and enjoy the view.

I submitted course one photos for evaluation and was happy with the response, but was discouraged by how old everything was, it seriously needed a makeover. So I was very excited to read in Popular Photography magazine that the courses have now all been updated and are available online! I sent an email asking for a log-in for the online classes, but was told that I would have to pay another $1000 to access that material! NYIP has not so much as even taken a moment to write me a brief congratulatory note or email in regards to my win. I have never been in a photo contest where there was not a prize for winning, and I certainly have received nothing. I would think that NYIP, especially considering that my work is being used in a commercial venture, would have at least acknowledged my win to me personally and perhaps furnished me with at least a 2-bit blue ribbon or some trinket indicative of said win.
