Pausing for a swim quick dip in the refreshing river!

A number of families met up to experience white water rafting for the first time, for most of us. The staff did a phenomenal job of removing any angst associated with the novelty of a new activity on the river in the Poconos. The instructions were spot on. The weather was perfect! The river was limitless fun. I appreciated the physicality of the experience. Everyone in your boat (5 in ours) gets to ACTIVELY contribute LOL! My children and I were plenty tired... in a good way! Cannot wait to return!

What an incredible experience white water rafting on the Lehigh River! Our guides were amazing and took us through class two and class three rapids. The entire 13 mile journey was around five hours with breaks and lunch in between. We were so excited and had so much fun rafting, and getting to experience Pennsylvania on the water with the stunning mountains. We went with around 120 people, and it was very organized and we were able to maintain a good schedule and finish and end on time. The accommodations were great with bathrooms and changing rooms at the site and an area to have a barbecue. They also offered zip lining, which was fun and I look forward to another rafting experience next year.

It was wonderful experience with my family with amazing team. Great team work. Best wonderful memories with my family. Everyone must try this adventures. Great staff.

12 year old boy died yesterday on my daughter's school trip. The children were not even offered helmets, most of the rafts had no guides. Reportedly, the children pulled each other out of the water when the raft capsized at a down tree in the river. So yelp asks what could be improved? Proper supervision. Offering people helmets even though they are not required. Perhaps a safety briefing like what to do if your raft capsizes. Appropriate staffing who try to help children in danger. This company's attitude toward safety is truly cavalier.

The Lehigh River is a gem. The staff at WhiteWater Adventures is very unprofessional. On the van trip to the put in the driver and the safety boater loudly disscussed payroll issues, lunch issues with the on site café and their co workers. These two were audiable to us sitting in the back of the van. Once we got to the Lehigh River, I had hoped the staff would be more professional. I was wrong. Their behavior got worse. The Trip Leader, a man named Jake, openly swore. The staff dissed the customers. I understand that their needs to be an evaluation before a river trip. This wasn't an evaluation of skills. The staff were making fun of the customers. The Lehigh River is a gem. Just find another company to explore it with.

This is a great way to introduce yourself and your family/friends to whitewater rafting. Be prepared for a full day from sign in to finish. Check in, safety briefing, bus ride, rafting, swimming, lunch, rafting, swimming and final bus ride. Once back you cab change to dry clothes and hit the snack bar for food and libations. Big barn fire to hang around and chat. We were a group of 7 adults and had no problem all being in one boat. The family ride was very easy and controllable with few places to get hungup ( rocks, trees or underpass) There are guides in front, back and throughout to keep everyone safe and moving along. Overall we had a really good time rafting, paddling and having water fights with other boaters and the pirates. Watershoes a must, bring water to drink and water guns or canons to defend yourself. The lunch was all you could eat- hot dogs, PBJ's, chips, salad and water or lemonade. Can't wait to try a more challenging adventure next time. Enjoy!

Went there to do a zip lining, and found out there's a check-in deal with the Yelp app! It's a beautiful space and provides different event such as paintball, rafting and zip lining, there is also a cafeteria setup inside incase you want a quick recharge before or after your adventure, price is reasonable and food is decent. And of course there's a gift shop(mostly clothing) because they have a listing of banned outfit for certain adventures(short shorts, flip flops etc.)

    Action shot!

If you read the previous review on here, I had the exact same experience last Saturday…read more We drove over 1 hr to get to zombie paintball. Got to the venue at 7:30 our tickets weren't until 830 so we got food. I didn't know they had food, we were going to go grab food and come back. The french fries were amazing! They were hand cut, but they only had two people working the stand. Then within minutes only one person. It got very backed up. Cheeseburgers were What you'd expect. The hot apple cider was warmed on a coffee pot type machine, it took forever. I had to wait and come back for it. The food was decently priced. The only thing I thought was crazy about the pricing was: they were selling one full Smore kit for three dollars! I could buy the marshmallows, graham crackers, and the chocolate for just a little over that. You could also get a pint of apple cider for four dollars or a small Styrofoam cup full for three dollars. Get the jug. We got in line at 8:15. Same situation with the 2 lines and no one knowing how to work them properly. We should have just got the tickets at the door, would have been in faster. One lady around us, son was working that night. She asked to speak with the owner. The owner said they knew what they were doing with the 2 lines. Definitely not! We didn't get on till after 9:30! The ride itself was decent. Only took 10 mins to go through even though the workers will tell you it takes 20-25 mins. You get 100 paintballs, but that's enough. There are only 7-8 real actors. The rest are props. They have a fake simulation on the radio and you have to watch a DVD before going on the ride. Overall it's cute, but a Once and done type of ride.

My family and I actually had a pleasant experience here. The dark side event was well planned and…read morethought out. Every turn had you ready to jump and the actors did a good job in surprising you. Definitely check out the dark side haunted house. Now for the zombie paintball that everyone is complaining about, listen fact of the matter is that this is the most popular attraction overall so of course the wait is going to be annoying. I went through the haunted house at 7 got out by 720 went to the zombie paintball right away waited about 15 min and then I began. Personally speaking it was fun, yes it's not slot of zombie actors, mostly props but it's still plenty of fun and although zombies don't drive... who wouldn't want to shoot paintballs at moving cars? Just shoot and have fun. Everyone who worked there overall was great. Thank you for a wonderful time. Will be back next year.

STAY AWAY! Run don't walk! Booked a birthday party for my 10 year old and visited the site…read morebeforehand to confirm all the details. Was promised unlimited Gatorades, bottled waters, and fruit for the duration of the paintball. Party was to be from 3-6pm, with a sign at the foot of the driveway showing guests where to enter as the field is concealed way back in the woods. A grill was to be supplied of which I confirmed would be in good condition to barbecue (my food) for kids and parents after the paintball. Wood planks with nails were to be removed from the property as they were a hazard to children. Boots were to be supplied at child's preference with shoe sizes provided in advance. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WAS DONE AS PROMISED! NOTHING! No sign at the front, with staff showing up at 3:30 unprepared. Field not set up as promised. Kids didn't begin playing until close t 5pm. Tables not set up for food after and not where agreed upon. Would planks with nails never removed with kids in the picnic area running around. No fruit or energy bars for the kids. Small amount of water and Gatorade, warm, put into a mall cooler and iced at 4:30. Kids that asked for boots were interrogated as to why they were needed and refused the option. Grill rusted out to the point of unsafe, so no food for anyone! The owner, Mike, is a foul-mouthed troll who speaks to ten year olds in an abusive, aggressive manner. The adults got the same type of gutter talk, forced to listen to his negative spew regarding his day. He gets one star for honoring the refund, making him only a 99% POS.

I stepped away for a period of time, and much of what occurred happened while I was not present…read more Several parents who witnessed the incident later spoke with me and described what had taken place, which helped me better understand the situation. My concern is not with the decision to remove my child from the game, but with the manner in which the entire situation was handled. My child accidentally discharged a paintball marker while adjusting his face mask, which was slightly broken at the time. I completely understand and accept that safety rules must be enforced, and I have no issue with him being removed from the game as a result. However, when I approached the manager to better understand what had happened so I could address it appropriately with my child, I found the interaction to be dismissive and unnecessarily confrontational. As a parent, I believe that mistakes can become meaningful learning experiences when they are handled with patience, respect, and clear communication. What concerned me most was not the correction itself, but the way it was delivered. Children are still learning how to make good decisions and manage responsibility. They should absolutely be held accountable, but in a way that preserves their dignity. A mistake should be a learning moment, not a moment of embarrassment or humiliation. I was also surprised to learn that participants were not required to sign a waiver, especially given the facility's strong emphasis on safety. Most concerning, however, was the behavior and language used by staff in the presence of both children and parents. The use of profanity and displays of anger in a family-oriented environment is unacceptable and sets a poor example for young participants. Since this occurred openly in front of multiple witnesses, including other parents, it cannot be overlooked or dismissed. In environments like this, adults set the tone. Children observe not only rules being enforced but also how adults handle frustration and conflict. Professionalism, patience, and self-control are especially important when working with young people. I hope management will take this incident seriously and consider additional training for staff in communication and behavior around children and families. Safety and discipline are essential, but so are respect, kindness, and the responsibility to ensure that every child is corrected in a way that supports their confidence and growth.
