Miniature golf The ropes course was fun and the staff was very helpful. There are differing levels of difficulty and you must be able to complete a lower level before going to a higher one. The hardest one is called black rhino and if you successfully complete it you get your pic on the wall. Things to know: -GG is only open for the summer season -hours are 10am to 6pm (weather permitting) -no WiFi -free parking -you will be required to sign a digital waiver -you will be limited to a 2 hour time slot and reservations are not necessary -there is a cute little train that can take you to/from the main resort building to GG -picnic tables if you want to bring lunch -benches if you want to bring people to watch you complete the course -there are cold beverages, candy, ice cream, tshirts, shoes, shorts, etc for purchase The reason I am docking a star is because the course is very expensive. $65 for the ropes course (2 hour timeframe) and a $15 bonus zip line add on. Also laser tag randomly was paused for 2 hours with no advance notice which was a bummer.

This is nonsense! If anyone decides to file a class action using the liability waivers required to be signed by adventurers, please add my party of 8 to your list.

Last time we did…read moredam release which was fun (although I wish they'd let you out once to swim- you get hot doing all the work!); this time we brought some younger family and tried the easier family rapids- which ended up being more fun than we thought it would be. It was pretty much a 4 hour water gun fight (you must rent the water cannons- essential) with swim spots too, and the hot dog/pbj lunch was a sufficient and quick re-fuel. The staff was all nice, and the other families really getting in on the water gun fights made it fun (the pirates really only attacked the middle of the group on our trip- but they did interact while waiting to leave). The only thing I was disappointed in was that last time they gave us a heads up on where the picture would be taken, and this time they did not. Two of our group members had a photo of the back of their heads, which stinks, because I like to get the photo. Other than that, really nice day.

Our guides Meghan, Jack and Ely made this a very memorable experience. Their professional attitude, experience knowledge and customer interaction were outstanding to say the least. They truly enjoy their work and their sincere attitude is great. They are true ambassadors for the company. After checkin you are provided with fitted life vests and then given a 15 minute safety lecture regarding raft safety and etiquette. After a 20 minute bus ride to the entry point, you enter the raft and proceed down the Lehigh River. Amazing picturesque scenery with mild rapids for the family style tour. Several areas along this 8 mile adventure they allowed swimming. water was cold (60 ish) but refreshing. At the midway point an unexpected complimentary lunch was provided consisting of Hot Dogs, PB&J sandwiches, Chips, Macaroni Salad, Fruit and drinks. Very good selection and served by another great crew. Very clean and well organized. I would highly recommend Pocono Whitewater. Super clean bathrooms, newly added changing rooms, foot washing station, gift shop and very well priced snack bar including beer. Can't wait to return. Got to the venue at 7:30 our tickets weren't until 830 so we got food. I didn't know they had food, we were going to go grab food and come back. The french fries were amazing! They were hand cut, but they only had two people working the stand. Then within minutes only one person. It got very backed up. Cheeseburgers were What you'd expect. The hot apple cider was warmed on a coffee pot type machine, it took forever. I had to wait and come back for it. The food was decently priced. The only thing I thought was crazy about the pricing was: they were selling one full Smore kit for three dollars! I could buy the marshmallows, graham crackers, and the chocolate for just a little over that. You could also get a pint of apple cider for four dollars or a small Styrofoam cup full for three dollars. Get the jug. We got in line at 8:15. Same situation with the 2 lines and no one knowing how to work them properly. We should have just got the tickets at the door, would have been in faster. One lady around us, son was working that night. She asked to speak with the owner. The owner said they knew what they were doing with the 2 lines. Definitely not! We didn't get on till after 9:30! The ride itself was decent. Only took 10 mins to go through even though the workers will tell you it takes 20-25 mins. You get 100 paintballs, but that's enough. There are only 7-8 real actors. The rest are props. They have a fake simulation on the radio and you have to watch a DVD before going on the ride. Overall it's cute, but a Once and done type of ride.

I went through the haunted house at 7 got out by 720 went to the zombie paintball right away waited about 15 min and then I began. Personally speaking it was fun, yes it's not slot of zombie actors, mostly props but it's still plenty of fun and although zombies don't drive... who wouldn't want to shoot paintballs at moving cars? Asked if they had other kayaks owner mentioned a model. I said is that a sit on kayak he said yeah. I asked if they get any sit in kayaks and him and his co worker laughed at me asking "what I would want a sit in kayak for". Said for my wife... due to the ignorance and poor salesman ship I won't be back. Wanted to help support a smaller shop as I tend to do but this one lost my interest.

Free parking which was nice but just know you have to walk up a lot of stairs and ramps to get up to the park. Getting into the park was easy and there were a lot of bathrooms, changing areas and lockers for purchase. The bathrooms were absolutely disgusting unless you went into the ski lodge so definitely wear shoes around if you can. There was plenty of chairs available and a lot of them were shaded by giant umbrellas, luckily the day we went it was mostly cloudy. There are a decent amount of slides, an Olympic sized pool, a wave pool and 2 kids areas. One was more toddler-friendly and the other was definitely geared towards kids a little older but half of the slides on it were closed. Multiple lifeguards at every slide or pool which was nice. Lots of life jackets available in many sizes. Water was a bit cold as it's not heated at all. Food options were a bit limited, possibly because it was a Monday. The main area had a couple of food trucks with mac and cheese, fries or tacos and a Belgian waffle stand. You got a lot of food for not a bad price, but wish there were some more options. Would definitely recommend going on a weekday though as weekends likely get very busy. Would definitely recommend coming here for a good summer day trip!

Hands down the best race for spectators! Over the years I've come to cheer on hubs and my brother…read morein laws at many races including Spartan, Tough Mudder and Warrior Dash. None have been as entertaining and exciting to watch as Savage Race located partially in the woods of a Skirmish course in the middle of eastern PA. There is a spectator fee ($15 online in advance, $25 day of), which I originally thought was lame the first time we were here about three years ago. That was until I saw we as non participants could actually run parallel to the actual course the entire 6 miles!! We are able to be right there in the action and watch so closely as our loved ones did their thing! It was awesome then and it just gets better after I got a feel for the land. If you're a down to get in a bit of a workout and get down and muddy, and probably a bit wet, this is a great race to attend! The kiddos who are actually free to watch love it too! Dress appropriately with hiking boots or sneaks and clothes you don't care that much about. We always bring a backpack with water or Gatorade, clean socks, a dry towel and flip flops. It takes roughly 1.5-2 hrs to finish. If you're not into experiencing Savage so closely, there are tables and chairs as well as some shaded areas near the final course, the Colosses, which is the best! The whole race is very well organized and is family friendly. They are very thorough with their waivers, so make sure everyone has their printed out and has their ID's ready. The area and crowds aren't super overwhelming as many of these races can be. I never worry about not being able to meet up with my entire party afterwards since we're all right there together pretty much the entire way. There's also a nice mix of natural elements and wooded areas too, which also sets this race apart from others. There's always an entertaining dj and a guy who gets everyone at the starting line pumped. The energy is infectious and everyone is super nice! This year they've added more food options such as 2 for $5 tacos to their usual burgers (beef and veggie), chicken fingers, fries and such, but we usually go to eat elsewhere afterward. Your bib price includes a cold beer post race. Parking is $10 for cars and $20 for trailers. Cash only. Just a heads up, you probably won't have reception. Unlike most races he's had to drag me to, this one we all enjoy as a family so much! Always an awesome, enjoyable day!!
