Pertaining to the "Zombie Paintball" attraction:
The experience is fantastic!...if you don't value your time and can survive the completely unorganized queue. First off, there are two methods of obtaining tickets; reserve a time in advance online or purchase general admission tickets at the gate when you arrive. Once you enter the front gate, there are two lines to segregate those ticket holders with a reserved time from ticket holders with general admission tickets (supposedly used to fill unclaimed seats once advance ticket holders are boarded). However, there are absolutely no signs identifying the two lines, which would not only help guests find their appropriate line but would also help the inept staff determine which line has reserved seats in advance.
While this may seem harsh, from my experience you would be better off purchasing general admission tickets as the staff in charge of advancing the lines either did not value reserved time slots or had no concept of which line was general admission and which line had reserved time slots.
I had reserved tickets for a group of four. Our time was among one of the earliest times in the evening (8:00 PM). We arrived the suggested 30 minutes prior to our reserved time and managed to find where to wait. We patiently waited in the line for ticket holders with a reserved time while we watched dozens of general admission ticket holders filter through the queue and get loaded onto trucks. When we finally reached the front of the line, the employee admitting attendees had no concept of which line was general admission and which line was for prepurchased ticket holders. We did not get to board the attraction until 9:20, nearly one hour past the time we had reserved! Meanwhile troves of general admission ticket holders were shuttled through the queue.
When we asked about our reserved tickets, the staff didn't seem to care. When asked about why the general admission line was advancing when our group (and roughly a dozen other people standing with us) had reserved a time that was overdue, we were told by an employee that "I have to take the other line because they have been waiting longer." The response was either a blatant lie or the queue is so unorganized that the employees don't even know whats going on.
The queue was so poorly managed that by the time we finished our ride, the line for people that had reserved a time in advance was wrapping around itself. If our group boarded nearly an hour after our reserved time slot (which was one of the earliest time slots), I can only imagine that those with later time slots must have had to wait two or more hours past their reserved time before boarding
The experience itself was very fun. However, there is absolutely no need to reserve tickets in advance because the staff does not honor those times. Do yourself a favor and get general admission, you'll be in and out in 45 minutes.
SPOILER ALERT: don't worry about saving your paintballs for the final stage, it's just people driving around the truck in cars - we all know zombies don't drive and, lets face it, it is much more fun to shoot people dressed up as zombies read more
