    Prime Brisket Barboacoa Quesadilla
    Jacqueline T.

My husband and I have been here twice now and had a much better experience the most recent time. We shared: - Prime Brisket Barboacoa Quesadilla - Pork Belly Smothered Taco - Pork Belly Stack - Passion Fruit Limeaid The quesadilla was really good, but it was heavy. I think it's better to have one piece and share it as an appetizer. The smothered taco felt more like chips and queso than a taco, but the flavor was great. The pork belly stack was incredible. If you get one thing, make sure it's this. It melts in your mouth and the sauce is delicious. If you like passion fruit, that drink is a must. We weren't very impressed by the food a year ago, so I'm not sure if the food improved or if we ordered better this time, but we really enjoyed it!

Ordered a couple times- and finally got a chance to dine in person. Upon sitting down the friendly owner told us about the origin story, how they started out as a food truck selling tacos and then now a sit down restaurant serving Filipino and New Mexican food as well. He then offered us a little sample of the Adobo Consommé. We got the lumpia, pork belly plate and the adobo bowl. Overall things tasted pretty great. My favorite was the pork belly plate. Maybe I am biased but the adobo while good, does not compare to the home cooking I have had the pleasure of experiencing back home in Singapore. Brought home the churros with dulce de leche which tasted delicious too. Side note: there was a 5% service fee which I don't think I was made aware of on the receipt.

So glad finding a Filipino restaurant! Loved that it was a mix with Mexican food. Service was great, excellent server explaining items since it was my first time. Ordered a few tacos, lumpia, two entrees, and flan for dessert. Also got an amuse bush (pork rind and queso). Overall really good food and can't wait to come back. Favorites were the lumpia, pork plate, fish taco, and flan. Restaurant was very clean as well

Service was prompt. The table tops needed a good wipe down. I moved tables several times to find a non sticky surface. Nice atmosphere and decor I went at lunch. I was the only customer there. You order from a screen at the front no server. Food was brought out to me on paper plates. And plastic silverware was provided. nice presentation otherwise. Lumpia was very tasty and so was the dipping sauce for it The adobo was disappointing. I'd say it was on par with a really good frozen dinner. The temperature was warm not hot It needed salt and a better marinade. It was one step away from bland, I barely recognized it as adobo chicken. The chicken was not dry but not moist either. Overall disappointed considering they've won so many awards.

Adobo Restaurant & Bar deserves way more hype. It's a New Mexican and Asian-inspired spot that's absolutely killing it, and yes, it's been featured on Netflix for a reason. I came here a couple months ago and have been kicking myself for not talking about it sooner. The food? Incredible. The flavors? On point. The vibe? Chill and welcoming. Here's what we ordered: * Adobo Nachos - crispy, cheesy, with hatch green chile and cholula butter * Brisket Barbacoa Quesadilla - rich, melty, perfection * Sampler - our version had lumpia, wontons, and deviled eggs * Chicken Adobo Birria Taco - yes, with consomé * Carne Asada Taco - classic and solid * Pork Belly Stack - juicy pork belly over jasmine rice with a fried egg and sweet chile sauce (this was the standout for me) * Sopapilla with honey butter * House-made flan * Churros con dulce de leche The pork belly stack was the dish I couldn't stop eating -- seriously, I scraped the plate like it was my last meal. The lumpia was also amazing, and don't even get me started on the desserts. That flan? A total home run. And the sopapillas + churros? Dreamy. If you haven't checked out their restaurant or food truck yet, this is your sign. Go. You won't regret it.

I've had the chance to eat at the brick and mortar location quite a few times after moving closer to the location last year and I absolutely love most of the things that they have to offer. The lumpia is the long version and very tasty, the pancit, chicken adobo and lechon kawali plate is very good and when they have calamansi I try and get a cocktail with it because the juice tastes real lol. The few things that I think could use improvement are the tacos. I've had Taco Tuesday there maybe 4 times and unfortunately realized that the tacos are pretty oily and unless getting a non-sauce inclusive taco it's going to likely be oily. The fusion of Filipino into the tacos is a nice gesture but honestly did not do it that much for me, I ultimately like their classic types of tacos and not really the fancy/unique ones they sell. My friend also got a burrito at one point and it was dripping oil. The drinks also tend to be on the weak side and after having three cocktails there over a single meal I didn't really feel much of anything. The service and ambiance of the place is great and the owner really cares about the customers but the parking lot sucks lol, I'll continue to visit this spot for the items that I feel are good but haven't really been out for Taco Tuesday in a while.

Sneaky good. Hidden treasure. Whatever you want to call it, as long as it is GOOD. The wife and I have been here 3 times, I think the sample size is adequate, and our experiences there thus far have sold me. This is a Mexican-Filipino themed mix place. It is also a food truck that did well enough to become brick and mortar. So glad it did. The award-winning food truck days were pre-pandemic, and the award-winning brick and mortar days are since 2023. We have been there for lunch, end of HH, and dinner. We got to experience the wings the first time there. Huge, awesome tasting wings that are pretty memorable, even in the highly competitive space of my brain that ranks my lifetime portions of wings. Definitely recommend. They have free pool. The asterisk is that the table leans, but it is free, so just let that go after your awesome meal. Maybe just have one extra drink and not notice the slight lean. Anyway, back to the other times. The next time, we got the sampler (mango habanero wings) and I had the pork belly mac and cheese. Aside from the fact that the servings were ample and that I ordered too much food, everything was delicious once again. They were out of the lumpia eggrolls, and my wife's sadness indicated to me that these things must be good (I had never had them). This last time, Alex was our bartender and gave us efficient, personal, and fantastic service. Perfect combo of being there when we needed something with leaving us alone for our time, and giving us food and drink advice as needed. He simply is the type of bartender that makes you want to return...which we will. This time, they DID have the lumpia eggrolls in stock, and they WERE very good. They must have been out the first time because everyone loves them so much. My wife is more the dry rub wing person, but we got those, and I will say they might be my favorite dry rub wings that I have had in a long time. I had a cheap Banquet, and the wife had an awesome tasting ube drink. Looked as cool as it tasted. Wife got the green chili for the other part of our meal and A) loved it and B) had a large enough serving where she had to take some home. I almost got suckered into over-ordering and getting the mac and cheese again, but decided to do the pork belly bites after those large wings. Great call, and these were amazing. I added the jalapeno add-on, and it was a great call. I highly recommend them if you want something to call a meal, but aren't starving, although this place has such great prices that you can also just order a main thing and take the rest home. We finished everything with the incredible ube ice cream things and you CAN'T go wrong by ordering these...and it is another sizable portion for the price and level of taste of the bites. This dessert is magical. Synopsis. This place has grown on me big time. We have never caught live music there, but we assume they have it as there is a small stage. The bar area is great. There are a couple of TV's with sports on, and some varied background music during our visits. They have a small parking lot, so you don't have to park on side streets. The pictures are darker because it was low lighting the last time we were there, and it was a cool, low-key atmosphere for our mood that night anyway. Oh. Almost forgot my favorite part! Ask for the house hot sauce if you like things spicy like me. It was incredible. Pretty hot, but still had a taste that elevated the meal...not just making something hot for hot sake. I highly recommend stopping by here, the food is amazing, the service was great, and see you there...

What a great find! My friend and I had just finished snowboarding and needed some comfort food. This is literally tucked in a tiny plaza at the corner of Speer and Federal. We were the first there, but the waiter was very friendly and informative. He brought us out a small sampler of their pork belly with queso. It was so good that it sold us both on the Pork Belly bowl!! We also ordered the sampler appetizer which was great, because it was both our first time there. We got to sample the lumpia, the fried chicken, and fries. It's an interesting combo of Mexican and Filipino cuisine, but a great combo. The ambiance was quiet since we were the first there, but it seems like they have a full bar and ample seating. Parking is in the back/side, not a lot but enough. I think there's a street in the back where you can park as well. Would come back if I'm in the area!

We came here after a friend recommended us this place. We came on a Friday afternoon and the place was well tucked away on the side of the road. We got some tacos and the crispy pork, and some drinks. We definitely will come back to ease our Mexican/Filipino food cravings. The place has great vibes, perfect for friends to come and hangout with good food. The service was great, our server was enthusiastic and incredibly helpful since this was our first time here.

We went here for taco Tuesday (there's a deal!) and it was really good! The queso was perfect and tacos were so good, although a little messy. The pork bel taco is a must! Our service was not good. We were informed when we came in the kitchen was busy due to taco Tuesday, however the restaurant was relatively empty. After waiting to be seated, we did not have a server come over for 10-15 minutes, not even to bring water. The rest of the service continued like this - it took a long time for someone to come to the table for us to order apps, and then again for the tacos, and again for the check. I understand when a restaurant is busy and the staff is overwhelmed, but this didn't seem to be the case. They could have done a better job acknowledging if it was.

I've had Adobo on my "places to try" list for months, but I'm rarely in that part of town. Well, the opportunity arose this weekend to try them out and I am SO happy about it! Legitimately, this is one of my top ten favorite restaurants in the Denver area right now. Maybe even in the top five. The concept is Mexican-Filipino fusion. You can tell the chef cooks with a true love of the food of both cultures and the intermingling of the two flavor profiles works like a charm. As you'll see from my photos, we ordered a lot of different items. We will often do this at a new (to us) restaurant to get a wider sense of what they have to offer, but we went especially overboard at Adobo because everything on the menu looked so friggin' good! Nothing we ordered disappointed. In fact, we ordered more food to go. The prices are VERY reasonable for the quality and portions. Absolutely no complaints. I also love the vibe of the place. They've cleaned up a dive bar, so there's still a stage and pool table in the back that make it feel like a chill hang out spot. At the same time, the color scheme, lighting, and plants make it feel a bit less divey. The sugar skull mural on the front entrance is beautiful as well. Also, THERE IS PARKING! I'm shocked this place isn't constantly packed. Even though we live in Aurora, we will definitely become frequent visitors to Adobo.

This place is not at all what it seems. It is gem of a restaurant at the corner of 36th and Feds. This restaurant touts a Philippines/Mexican fusion cuisine and it was fantastic. The inside is definitely decorated for a home style feel. We were started with a small, holiday only sample of Grandma's chicken adobo soup. This was delicious and tasty and I would order it all the time if it was on their menu. We also selected the elote and lumpia to start. Both were very good. For an entree, my friend and I decided to split two items since we could not decide- the Grandma's adobo chicken over rice and the Mac and cheese with pork belly. The chicken dish was good-but not as flavorful as the starter sample. The Mac and cheese was also good, but I preferred the dish without the pork belly. The Mac and cheese was delicious on its own. That server was hilarious and fun to be around. I'm glad I got to try this place out and would definitely go again to try more off their menu. The tacos looked amazing as well.

I have been wanting to try Adobo for a while after it made Westword's Top 100 List in 2023 and was on Netflix's "Fresh, Fried & Crispy" Season 1, Episode 6. A fusion of New Mexico and Filipino cuisine, there are lots of creative dishes to choose from. After taking our drink order, our server brought us an amuse bouche- a delicious sample of the adobo broth used to season the adobo chicken. It was flavorful and convinced 4 out of 5 of us to order a dish with the adobo chicken. We ordered the lumpia and elote as our starters. The lumpia was fried perfectly and was flaky and crisp. A must order for any visit. I split the chicken adobo dish and the pork belly mac with a friend - one item From My Lola's side, the other from New Mexican at Heart. The chicken was tender. I wish there was more of the adobo sauce served on the side because the jasmine rice soaked it up and it was too good to not be able to keep tasting. The pork belly mac was cheesy with fresh green chile. Some pieces of the pork belly could have been cooked a little more crispier but it was still a good dish. The space is large with lots of seating and a bar area. The restaurant wasn't very full for a Friday night. Adobo used to run as a food truck. Hopefully their following continues to support a brick and mortar business.

We eventually asked someone who came up to the register to check out another guest, and they promptly got us checked in. The tasting itself was nice, we tasted about 20 diff wines, and we had a lovely girl serving us. Unfortunately, the biggest disappointment was as first time visitors, we weren't given any info about how the tasting experience worked. It took about an hour and a half, and we didn't receive the advertised tour that was included. After the tasting, we were ready to purchase some wine and waited behind another couple who was checking out. However, no one ever acknowledged us or came over to help us check out. I think this place is probably great, but the disorganized check-in, lack of clear signage, and inattentive staff made the experience more difficult. As first time visitors, we would have loved a little more guidance.

Then when he did acknowledge me and I stated I would sit at the bar, it took several minutes for the bartender to acknowledge me. The staff was busy speaking to each other and doing side work. Once I was acknowledged, things started getting a little better. When I arrived during breakfast/brunch, I was informed they were in the middle of a menu change, so my choices were limited. Breakfast items include bacon and burritos. I started off with a charcuterie board (though I had asked for a fromage board). This was not only because I wanted some tasty cheese, but I was trying to kill time until the lunch/dinner menu started. The board was a great board, two different meats, three cheeses, a loaf of bread, some nuts and jellies. But it was 40 dollars! I had a few small plates (which was still a lot of food). I had a melon and cucumber salad, which was a good palate cleanser. I also had the roasted king mushrooms, which were underwhelming with no seasoning, and they were a little chewy. The best thing was the wild boar meatballs, which were seasoned really well and in a savory, delicious marinara sauce. All the cocktails were fruity (but not sweet) and refreshing. I had one that was carrot based (Kiss my Carrot with tequila, cointreau, carrot, orange, and ginger), one that had pineapple flavor (paper boat with rum, falernum, aperol, lemon, pineapple), and the smoky smoke and flower (hibiscus mezcal, cointreau, pama, rose water). This spot is a winery, so they have a large wine list. They have handhelds like burgers and flatbreads. Starters like artichoke dip and bruschetta. Some of the current entrees, which might change, are hanger steak, chilean salmon, cauliflower steak. They had a gnocchi dish I was interested in, but it's already been removed from the menu. The restaurant is classy and just like a winery is expected to be. The food is pretty good. But the service was really subpar.

Super nice people, reflecting the vibe we always felt on our other visits. The staff echoes that disposition, always friendly and knowledgeable. Puttshack is a hip spot with a number of 9-hole mini golf courses inside. They have a full bar and serve food, but we just chose to play golf. The scoring is the coolest part here. The balls have chips in them, and the course knows where your ball is at all times. It scores the round for you, and each hole has additional challenges called "supertubes". Scoring is backwards from traditional golf, so you'll want as many points as you can to win. The pricing on weekdays is super reasonable here, and that's why we delayed our visit to our last day in Denver. The other days we were in town fell on a weekend, and the prices felt kind of outrageous for weekend golf. If you can, I would certainly stick to visiting Puttshack on the weekdays. Went it to grab some breakfast burritos for the office. I asked for 20 of the standard. I was…read moreprepared to wait, I have a brain and realize they didn't have 20 ready for me and they aren't psychic. Anyway, I ask if they can please cut them in half. Not a big deal, I was just thinking not everyone wants a whole and if someone is extra hungry they can take two halves. Just thought it would make things a tad easier. They tell me no. They can't/won't cut in half. Ok, whatever. I don't understand what the big deal is, they obviously posses knives... just cut them instead of saying "no". So stupid. 20ish Minutes after waiting, the person who took my order said it would be 30 minutes to make. Which was weird cause what was going on for the last 20 minutes? 30 minutes to wait is fine, if you don't waste the 20 mins prior resulting in about an hour wait. So, I declined as now we are talking an hour to get 20 simple breakfast burritos. I needed to get to work and I wasn't wanting to wait an entire hour and they just wasted 20 minutes of my time not prepping anything, so I decided not to go with the burritos. Someone came to refund my sale and then preceded to kind of scold me for not ordering in advance. He said something about for an order like 20 burritos they want 2 days heads up. GTF outta here. It's freaking burritos. You don't need 2 days to make 20 burritos. And here's the thing, I'm not here for a lecture because I attempted to give YOU business. And I won't be back, either. When you get a customer to purchase your goods, be happy. Provide them the goods. Make it as soon as you can. Don't say no for no reason. Don't make anyone feel bad for trying to give you business. It would have been SOOOOO simple to make the burritos and quick run the knife through them. But, no, the choice was to do nothing for almost a half hour, to refuse to run a knife through them as asked, and then lecture a customer for coming in to order 20 items. It's not like I asked for 100. What if 10 customers came in and each ordered 2? Can you do that? Do they get lectured, too, or...? See ya.

I loved the Pollo Asado the most! They have a small toppings bar where you can add salsa and whatever else they have. The chips were a perfect to the tacos and I love the signage on the wall explaining how to eat a taco. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating as well! I will definitely come back and try a few more items! So glad I found a new lunch spot close to the office. Overall 4/5 stars

This is a timed, coursed dinner where the entire room sits and eats together, so arriving on time is essential. The format creates a restaurant wide dinner party feel, which sets the tone for the night. Everything feels intentional, from the pacing to the service to the design of the space. The menu changes often and is never repeated, which makes the experience feel special and creative rather than formulaic. Standout dishes for me included the duck doughnut, the wood ear French toast, the venison burger, and the leek cappuccino. The kanpachi crudo and scallop with tamarind were also beautifully balanced, and desserts like Cash's Apple and The Sphere were thoughtful finishes rather than an afterthought. One of the more memorable details was the menu book at the end of the night, featuring the chef's original sketches of the dishes. It's a small touch that really reinforces how personal and considered the experience is. If you're looking for a unique, chef driven tasting experience that feels cohesive and well executed, this is absolutely worth a reservation.

The presentation of the dishes was beautiful and unique. Some of our favorites were the crème brûlée scallop, mushroom French toast, duck donut, and cappuccino lobster. It's definitely expensive, but we knew that going into it. $190 for the meal, $143 for the wine pairing, $20 for a cocktail, and automatic 20% tip. There was a cute booklet at the end with sketches of the dishes. It was a little annoying that they wouldn't do separate checks for us since only one of us got the wine pairing.
