So today I ordered a Mexican hamburger, and I have to say their green chili is quite the bomb. Not too hot, but lots of flavor.

If there was a -5 star I would use it. Im sorry on what planet are their tamales sooo amazing?? I've bought waaaay better from a lady in a parking lot. And when did people start putting what I can only guess is cheese on them. For $30 and the "reviews" we expected the best ever. They should rename them masales because thats ALL there is, masa. Take a look at the pictures. One little piece of what I can only assume is chicken. Didn't even bother trying the pork, hubby tried both just for benefit of the doubt...yeah...just no. Maybe someone needs to learn how to make PROPER tamales. This location is a smaller storefront location with 6 tables. However, for the hour that I sat and enjoyed the ambiance, it appears that 90% of their business is carry-out. But enough on that. On to the food. I ordered two red pork tamales and four asada tacos. The carne asada was juicy and moist and had not been cooked to the more common little meat chunks. The seasoning was still in place on the meat, and it was obvious that the meat had been chopped up from a larger flank steak. The pork tamales were very well made and were delicious. There was a good balance between meat and masa. I picked up a half dozen to take with me. This is a great little place, and I will visit again when I get a chance. read more

I've been sleeping on Los Tamales! First off, the tacos are loaded with meat that is cooked perfectly and they are flavorful. The tacos come with fresh chopped onions and cilantro - on the side lime wedges. A green and a red sauce are available for you to dress the tacos. I ordered the carne asada, chicken and carnitas tacos. The carnitas is a winner!!! I ordered tamales to go and I'm so glad I did. Since the name of the restaurants is Los Tamales - I took a calculated risk. They are so bomb: green Chile other cheese and pork in red sauce. A four star review would bring down the overall rating, so I am breaking my rule this one time, and giving them a one star bump for one reason, which I'll explain shortly... The food was really quite good. The service was exceptional - there was no wait, our order was taken very quickly, and the staff, which on this day was comprised of two young ladies, was perfectly attentive. On any other day, I'd have probably given Los Tamales four stars, because it was quite good. That said, did I mention the service? It was truly exceptional. The young gal who took our order sat nearby doing some side work after our food arrived, and seemed genuinely interested in ensuring we had everything we needed for an optimal experience. It is rare to see this level of professionalism in today's young people, but she had it in spades. It might have been because her mom (we think) was the cook, but our guess is that she's just a quality person. Well done. read more

The Grubhub price was adjusted more than I would have expected because I asked that the burrito be smothered instead of chili inside. For the price increase I would have hoped for more chili. It was a mere $5 and some change for steak, which they were generous with, potatoes, eggs, cheese, green chili, and cheese. I added beans. They offer bacon, ham, sausage, chorizo and a few other selections including smothered. Ordered from Uber for the first time and this is what we got, smothered burrito with chicken, potatoes and beans, the carne asada fries, extra green chili & a single red tamale. Delicious green chili. The fries where well seasoned and the steak was too. My daughter had the burrito and she said it was delicious, wish it had more chicken in it but flavour delicious. The only flaw, not enough chicken. The tamale we shared and it was also very good. Will definitely order from here again and will try to post pictures and give a 5 star review. Great find. read more

Yummiest of breakfast burritos! I love the breakfast burritos here. I ordered delivery since I work down the street and this may just be my new favourite work spot. The bacon burrito was calling my name and it was the perfect little breakfast meal. There have been a lot of instances where my burrito was too runny from sauce or there wasn't a good balance of the ingredients, but this place has portion size down. All breakfast burritos come with cheese, egg, potato, and green chile, it's up to you if you want meat or not. The price is right, the flavour is good, I'll definitely be back! read more

You can order anything off the menu and it will be great. Who doesn't love good, cheap, really super flavorful Mexican Food? This place is "no frills" fantastic frijoles. You will need Google Maps to find it hidden in a strip mall next over from the former dog track King Soopers in Commerce City. And yes, the tamales are TDF, so order half a dozen to take home. Also the tacos Al Pastor are freekin fantastic. Is it worth driving across town for? No, but if you find yourself anywhere nearby you absolutely have to stop in for lunch. Ok, I have a very mixed review here. I was looking for a quick bite of to eat and I wanted mexican food. I found this place on Yelp and honestly knew the area, but never knew it was right by KS in the shopping center. It's a small place with about 5-6 tables, but takeout seems to be the most popular option and that is what I did. Looking at the menu, I took a gamble and went with the carne asada fries. They didn't look as great as the ones near my home, but fries, chili, and meat sounded great in whatever form it was in. When I received my order it was piping hot and fresh. I opened the box and was slightly disappointed. The fries are coated fries, similar to seasoned fries. They are extremely salty and slightly breaded so that when the chili soaks in, they get soggy FAST. The chili was very good, but I imagine it would be better on a burrito. The carne asada was cooked perfect, but the portion was smaller than what I'm used to. To each their own I guess. For $10 incl tax, I expected a bit more. My other spot loads the to go box full and adds sour cream and guac for about $2 less. I didn't really make a dent in this entree because the soggy fries were a turn off. If and when I return, I'll try a burrito. It looks like the better option. read more
