Combo with two items...
Peter M.

I discovered Minas while getting some new tires across the street at Discount Tires (check them out if you have tire needs!). I had about an hour to kill, and was hungry enough, so figured I'd roll the dice. I was greeted quickly by an energetic and very friendly employee who let me pick my own table. Once seated, chips & two kinds of salsa landed almost instantly. The tortilla chips were fresh and crispy, and the salsas were superb! It does turn out that they don't run their lunch special on the weekends, which is what drew me in, but I grabbed a two item combo for $13.50 and it was plenty of food. I tried a chimichanga and a chili relleno, and both were good. The slaw style salsa stuff was so good I brought it home. The wife tried it, and now wants to go back there just for that - so good job on that salsa stuff!

Free shots for Fathers Day

Free shots of Casa Amigos for Fathers Day was the best thing. Our mesera Jasmine and the host Travieso made us feel at home. Then they gave us extra shots as a courtesy. I've always had a great experience here and it's highly recommended.

Strawberry Jalepeño margarita

We came here with a large group of girls and the service was good. We went during lunchtime and got seated right away. I really enjoyed my strawberry Jalepeño margarita. The chicken taquitos were okay. They had a variety of items for everyone. Some items though, like the cheese dip, have a higher price point than I would pay for. Overall though it got the job done for all the girls to get their marg fix in!

I ordered a smothered burrito and a tostada. I don't know which was better the way it looked or the taste it was wonderful.

Absolutely delicious! Staff is very kind and friendly as well. We ordered strawberry margaritas, enchiladas, and the asada torta. Will definitely be back!

Margaritas

So glad we stopped for dinner. Margaritas were are point! Customer service was amazing. The food was good and the slaw they served with the chips was better than the salsa! I didn't leave room for fried ice cream! I'll have to try that next time!

Mar y tierra brochetas

Very happy with how the food was, not sure why they are rated 3.5 we almost didn't stop here since it was rated that but I'm happy we decided to try it!! You won't be disappointed!!

Where is my Guacamole And Sour Cream? Thought this place was awesome until I opened my order and they charged me for something that they did not provide. When I notified them, they were very apathetic and clearly stated that the only option was for me to call me get the guacamole and sour cream and drive all the way back there... my food will be completely cold at this point and they will be closed. Guess I just have to dispute he charges with my bank, too bad I really liked them.. at first. Also, while I was waiting the waitress removed two dirty diapers from the booth, look before you sit, not even regulars respect that place.

This was hands down the best Mexican I've had. It was a last minute yelp find and it was authentic, good portion sizes, very reasonable prices and good service! The pico and salsa are fantastic and free. The cheese dip was a huge portion, it would've been nice to have a small option because we barely made a dent in it. Also, they weren't able to split my friend and I's meals into two tabs and pay cash for one and card for the other which I found odd. Not a big deal though, it was a small restaurant so I can't imagine they have the newest cash register system! Overall, great experience and will crave when I return to MN.

This place is so fire and so authentically Mexican that I'm shocked I haven't already reviewed it.... every flavor is 100% legit! Every time I eat here I want to slam down my fork & sing mi Lindo michoacan! Gringos: fall back. This might not be for you. I'm vegetarian... they're flexible and even w/o substitutions their vegetarian dishes are great! Sorry the pic isn't great. I started murdering this veggie chimichanga before I had a chance to take a good one

Pico de gallo. Excelente Comes with the salsa and chips.

It's been a long time coming but Dan Da is hands down my favorite Vietnamese restaurant in Colorado…read moreand probably in the US. When you think of Vietnamese, Americans tend to think of Pho, noodle bowls and lemongrass chicken but we need more places the focuses in home cooking and dishes that locals eat. Ingredients are fresh and dishes pack a powerful flavor bomb...I mean wow! The use of shrimp paste and other traditional ingredients really elevate flavors that many Americans are not used to, but you have to try it to understand. Their claypots are a must order and with a side of rice....you'll be eating for days! The star of the night was the pork and calamari claypot which is cooked in shrimp paste and your favorite Vietnamese spices and herbs. You'll finish bowls of rice with this dish, it packs so much flavor that you'll be wanting more. It's a great mix of salty, sweet and umami from the fermented shrimp paste. The Vietnamese curry was thick and packed with succulent shrimp. The veggies at a very nice brightness to balance out the coconut milk. The last dish we had was a shrimp lemon grass in the clay pot and that was also a hit with everyone! Service is amazing and they definitely know how to recommend dishes to match your taste buds. They went out of the way to help everyone and it shows. If you need a new spot, check Dan Da!

I had two dishes I had never had before (Bò Kho, I believe, and Bún Chả), and each was a totally new experience and amazing. As always the hospitality is great and the ambiance has stayed fresh. A must dine at (and then again and again)!

Our server, Malik, was so professional, courteous, engaging, gave us great suggestions and our meal experience was even better with him as our server! We ordered the Happy Hour cocktails of lemon drop martinis and a regular martini. Ordered a half-dozen of the Pearl oysters and they were so yummy, we ordered another half-dozen. Well-presented and delicious! We then ordered the Nantucket Risotto (only been on the menu for 2 weeks), the Blue Island Diver's Platter (ask for the octopus), a Happy Hour Crispy Slider and Fish Taco. We combined this with a glass of white wine and red wine. The meal was absolutely fabulous and we then finished this spectacular meal with sharing a key lime pie. Once again, Malik made this meal even better with his genuine smile, attentiveness and efficiency. Make sure you sign up for their Loyalty Rewards program and they offer a great inexpensive weekday 3-course Power Lunch.

I will say for the oyster deal it has been good, but sometimes the oysters aren't cleaned well. Again a hit and miss. The ambiance is nice and soothing, very ocean blue. We have also tried some sides and other entrees. The shrimp entree was good but lacked some salt. The burger was amazing with the bacon jam and always have the best shoestring fries. I also got an order of the crispy rice that has a salmon and a tuna. The salmon was way too sweet and had a fishy aftertaste that I disliked. The truffle tuna was definitely the better one of the two. However, the rice itself was absolutely mushy and not necessarily crispy. It also didn't have the best flavor. Desserts tried were the olive oil orange cake and the brownie. both are OK and nice and sweet, but not something I would spend money on Overall, truly think this place is a hit and miss. Just depends on the night.

A brand new buffet opened up in Aurora, so I just had to check it out!…read more The business shares a large parking lot with the surrounding businesses. So there's plenty of parking you just might have to walk a little further to get to the door. We were greeted and seated immediately. We placed our drink orders and then we were off to the buffet. It was set up like any other buffet, there was an Asian station with the traditional Asian foods, a fried station with your typical American foods, and even a dim sum station hidden in the back. They also had a Mongolian Grill where you could create your own! And they had a couple rolls of sushi out for grabs. The flavor of the foods with nothing out of the ordinary, pretty standard and tasted normal. So I think for the variety of options you get and the price that you pay is worth it. I didn't get to try the Mongolian Grill, but I definitely wanna go back and give it a shot. They also had a soft served ice cream, machine, and a chocolate fondue station. They also offered fruits for dessert as well. With all of the options they have available. I think you could definitely find something for everybody. If I'm in the area, I'll definitely go back!
