Tripas tacos are the best around. Crispy, full of flavor, and it doesn't have the dirty after taste. I have tried their Pastor, Lengua, and Buche. And their tripas are definitely their best. They don't have much sitting space, so hope for the best when you come in. They also don't have a working ac, but they do have a loud, powerful fan. They also do have a salsa bar which has 3/4 different types of salsas and other vegetables. I would also recommend the tamarind juice, it's very thirst quenching. Service is ok. They hardly speak English but enough to take your order.

This is a very inexpensive place where to have lunch if you are touring the Arsenal. We had 3 tacos de assada, one burrito de assada, one horchata, one fanta and one bottle of water for a total of $14! That's as low cost as it gets. The place is not the cleanest, nor is it in the best area of town. Everything seems a bit run down in the neighborhood. But the food was very good and the service was friendly. It is right next door to a laundromat in the very corner of a strip mall that is completely surrounded by a white rod iron fence. That was different. LOL. But it's easy to spot if you know it. :-) We will be back if we are in the area

Best Mexican original food I've been to in Denver honestly, the store may not look the part but dam does the food sure make up for it

This place is great with food and service I love how basic it looks. It the food makes up for it for sure

For starters when you go during rush hour expect to wait a while for your food which means taking your whole lunch time. Don't get me wrong the place is a little hole in the wall but the food is very good and worth the wait. I have been here multiple times and the tacos and other things in the menu are great to eat, and they have a lot of things to choose from here not just tacos, one thing is that the customer service here some times can be slow or they just dnt pay much attention to you. In the end this is not a bad place to come and eat and any hour of the day as they stay open late, and would recommend this place to friends and family to come and enjoy this little place.

Hello, my name is Doug and I'm a taco-holic. I had my last tacos not more than three days ago when I could be seen binging at three different taquerias in one day. Today I found myself faced with that open door and the smell of nicely spiced meats wafting in my direction with a small crowd of people inside feeding their habit too. I caved to my addiction because I'm a weak, weak man. 99 cent tacos. Small 4 inch doubled tortilla, not a lot of meat but enough and well seasoned and a very deluxe, plentiful salsa bar loaded with fresh cucumbers, radishes, cabbage, green, red, habanero, and guac. salsas and some of the best pickled jalapeño, carrot, and onion escabeche I think I've ever had. The rest of the food everyone else was eating in this small space looked good too (the rest of the menu looked to lean towards the pricey side ie tortas from $6.50 to $8.50). Don't know when I'll be in the vicinity again but if I am... I'll have to get my fix again I'm afraid.

It soured me on the place, so I just stopped going. But recently, a coworker suggested we get lunch there, and I figured it had been long enough to try it again. I'm really happy I did. The vibe is great, sort of a sports bar feel but with a Mexican twist, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. I got the Reunion Combo, and it was a ton of food. It had a chicken tamale and a crispy relleno covered in this really tasty pork green chile, a red chile cheese enchilada, and a ground beef crispy taco. Everything was delicious, and the plate was huge. I definitely felt like I got what I paid for with the meal. The only thing I didn't like was the $4 ice tea. It kind of feels like a cheap way to make the bill bigger at the end, but honestly, the food and the better service made it worth it. I'm glad to have this spot back on my list for lunch in Commerce City.

The salsa we received was a green and a red and they were full flavored delicious! I ordered two tacos a la carte: Apple Cilantro Steak and Braised Short Rib. The tacos arrived quickly, were delicious. Especially the Apple Cilantro Steak. Note that the tacos are street taco sized. This means smallish at around 4-5" inches each. Nice that they are double tortilla wrapped. Our waitress checked in with us a couple times to make sure we had everything we wanted. We will likely return.

When the weather is nice, the patio seating is a nice bonus and adds to the laid-back vibe. I didn't see any happy hour specials on either food or drinks, but the margaritas are reasonably priced, especially the house margarita. They seem to be best known for their taco plates, but I went with one of the bowls instead. While it tasted quite delicious, the portion size felt a bit light for the price; I had this same concern looking at all the online photos of the tacos, too. Service was friendly and straightforward: just walk in and seat yourself. The bar area has plenty of TVs, perfect for if you want to watch a game. It would be perfect if they had happy hour specials. I would maybe explore your options if you want good value, but it's a nice casual place that's worth a stop if you're craving what their menu has.

I wanted a burger he wanted to sit down meal and we ended up at the Moonlight Diner. Walking into the diner is like a step back in time. The decor is 1950s memorabilia with chrome touches and leather wrapped seating. It's everything you would think a diner would be but the food is so much more. They have a full bar as well as dairy treats, including shakes and malts. They also have breakfast all day and love their pancakes. They also serve barbecue. But I went for the patty melt. And my other half went for breakfast. His breakfast was the mountain man breakfast and was full of meats, eggs hashbrowns, and Ken with pancakes, but he opted for English buffet instead. It also came with a side of toast. It was a very ample breakfast. My patty melt sure did hit the spot. It was a perfectly medium cooked hamburger on rye with cheddar, and Swiss melted with grilled onions and thousand island dressing. Instead of fries, I went for the mashed potatoes and gravy. It was comfort food to the max. My date also got the peanut butter shake. He slurped that down in a hot minute. He said it was wonderful. He offered me a taste at least twice before I noticed it was gone. There's also meatloaf on the menu as well as a pulled pork barbecue Frito pie and they have a Frito pie burger. They also serve meatloaf. They have several classics and several twists. I recommend going there. There's something for everyone.
