My husband and I ordered 7 tacos and had to wait 45 minutes. There were multiple people who came in and ordered after us and they got their food before us. I asked the lady if they forgot our order and she kept saying 3 more minutes. read more

To start, this place is tiny and they got very busy very quickly. We got a burrito and some tacos and they were delicious! The taco sauce/salsa bar had a good selection and the green sauces were really good! Be prepared to get your food to go and wait a little while, but you will be happy. read more

These tacos hit the spot and the place was really busy but these weren't the best tacos I've ever had. We grabbed 2 carne, 2 birria, 2 al pastor, and 2 barbacoa. All tasty and good but reflecting back on some of the other tacos I've had these were just good. Which isn't bad, I'd totally come back if I'm in the area. The carne was a bit different, the birria was good, the al pastor was also a bit different than what I've known al pastor to be, and the barbacoa was good too. read more

Excellent for a late dinner after we got off work. Tasty food, really nice service even though we don't speak any Spanish (some other reviews reported problems--we had none). Good plate presentation too. We had entres and appetizers plus the Tres Leche Cake. All great. read more

Bad service. Unfriendly and unwelcoming. Very small. I asked for an aluminum sheet or small plate to try the sliced Cucumbers the have at salsa bar while my food was ready and they said No. I asked for little salsa containers to have ready for my food and they said No. I won't be coming back. read more

This location is the after party hangout. Where all the Latinos get their late night grub. You will see them dress to impress in boots and high heels. During the day, just a regular hole in the wall taco stand. They have the cheapest street tacos around the area. They are small and just ok. Same servings as the one on Alameada. Multiple locations with the same name read more

I gave it 4 stars for convenience and time but my chili fries were mid compared to most other places in area

I come in about twice a month. The food is really good always get tacos al pastor and tripa but they're very stingy with the salsa if you get it to go and the people at the counter are rude most of the time. read more

This place has gone down hill. Starting with customer service. We ordered lbs of meet not good, no tortillas, salsa included had to pay everything separate. And to top it off I was charged for the 2 piece of foil paper I asked for. What a joke!' Never coming back!! read more

Tripas tacos are the best around. Crispy, full of flavor, and it doesn't have the dirty after taste. I have tried their Pastor, Lengua, and Buche. And their tripas are definitely their best. They don't have much sitting space, so hope for the best when you come in. They also don't have a working ac, but they do have a loud, powerful fan. They also do have a salsa bar which has 3/4 different types of salsas and other vegetables. I would also recommend the tamarind juice, it's very thirst quenching. Service is ok. They hardly speak English but enough to take your order. read more

This is a very inexpensive place where to have lunch if you are touring the Arsenal. We had 3 tacos de assada, one burrito de assada, one horchata, one fanta and one bottle of water for a total of $14! That's as low cost as it gets. The place is not the cleanest, nor is it in the best area of town. Everything seems a bit run down in the neighborhood. But the food was very good and the service was friendly. It is right next door to a laundromat in the very corner of a strip mall that is completely surrounded by a white rod iron fence. That was different. LOL. But it's easy to spot if you know it. :-) We will be back if we are in the area read more

Los Gallitos - Best Mexican original food I've been to in Denver honestly, the store may not look the part but dam does the food sure make up for it - Mexican Near Me - Commerce City, Colorado

They suck and act like they don't understand English .., the lady was so rude and acted like she didn't know what I was saying

For starters when you go during rush hour expect to wait a while for your food which means taking your whole lunch time. Don't get me wrong the place is a little hole in the wall but the food is very good and worth the wait. I have been here multiple times and the tacos and other things in the menu are great to eat, and they have a lot of things to choose from here not just tacos, one thing is that the customer service here some times can be slow or they just dnt pay much attention to you. In the end this is not a bad place to come and eat and any hour of the day as they stay open late, and would recommend this place to friends and family to come and enjoy this little place. read more

costumer service is bad mainly the people taking your order and handing out food. wont be going again waited 45 minutes for 4 tacos. Seems like they prioritize pick ups more than going in person. read more

Cashiers always rude for NO reason. People that can in after me were getting their food before me (kinda weird) tacos are alright I guess

The customer service was very bad and they messed up my order. Customer service was eh but the food was terrible straight garbage.

Hello, my name is Doug and I'm a taco-holic. I had my last tacos not more than three days ago when I could be seen binging at three different taquerias in one day. Today I found myself faced with that open door and the smell of nicely spiced meats wafting in my direction with a small crowd of people inside feeding their habit too. I caved to my addiction because I'm a weak, weak man. 99 cent tacos. Small 4 inch doubled tortilla, not a lot of meat but enough and well seasoned and a very deluxe, plentiful salsa bar loaded with fresh cucumbers, radishes, cabbage, green, red, habanero, and guac. salsas and some of the best pickled jalapeño, carrot, and onion escabeche I think I've ever had. The rest of the food everyone else was eating in this small space looked good too (the rest of the menu looked to lean towards the pricey side ie tortas from $6.50 to $8.50). Don't know when I'll be in the vicinity again but if I am... I'll have to get my fix again I'm afraid. read more

Los Gallitos - Two al pastor, one suadero, one chorizo taco and a huge pile of stuff off of the salsa bar. - Mexican Near Me - Commerce City, Colorado

Great place, menu on the wall, not a Gringo eatery so do not expect your Americanized Tex-Mex dishes. I had a vegetarian huarache, and they added an egg instead of meat. I asked them nicely in my best classical Spanish! Great fresh fruit drinks. Try the horchata, the authentic tacos. read more

I have only been here once and that's because I was in the are visiting some cousins of mine. We were in a rush to go swimming at my pool so we did a take out. The tacos were ok. The horchata was ok too. I mean nothing special really. I was just glad they were open later then subway!! I got what I always get- tacos de lengua y del pastor. I do like that they are cheaper then the tacos at TACOMEX. Would come back again if I'm in the neighborhood and hungry read more

I ordered a Gordita with just cheese and beans. Which I told the woman. When I my mom went to grab the food; there was other toppings on it (my three year old won't eat it). My mom told the woman that we ordered it with no toppings. The lady slammed the plate on the tray and yelled at my mom. I demanded to speak to a manager. I didn't get anyone. This restaurant is left unattended by management and let the staff act in disgusting ways. read more

The parking lot is small and is shared with a laundromat but people come and go pretty fast. I waited about 5 mins on a rainy day to find a spot. I came here around 4 pm so it wasn't super crowded, It's not a big place but there were several tables available when I was there, so I was able to sit and wait for my carry out order. I ordered a smothered Chile relleno burrito and 5 various tacos (carnita, Asada, cabeza, lengua, and al pastor). Everything was delicious and authentic and best of all, reasonably priced!!! $1 tacoossssss!!! The burrito was also huge for the price of $7. I am knocking one start because I wish someone told me about the salsa bar on the side. Rookie mistake, I supposed? It was raining and hailing out so bad, I really wanted to be in and out of there. Oh and how can I forget my gigantic cup of horchata that also did not disappoint! read more

This will forever be my go to taco spot. The only thing that throws me off is that I can no longer order over the phone and the food can take a while when ordered there. But it's worth it! read more

Just got a pile of tacos (pastor, asada, lengua, pollo) for the family for New Year's Eve, plus some champurrado to drink on the way home. All tacos were perfectly delicious - I think my favorites were the asada and the pastor. These are little street tacos, so order accordingly. They were really cheap - like $1.30 each. Two of the salsas were really spicy, just how I like it. Be advised that the staff seems to speak minimal English, although I'm sure you can wing it without Spanish. Highly recommended! read more

Holy moly this place is good! While on a rotation in Commerce City, I asked some people where I could find some solid, authentic mexican food nearby. Everyone mentioned Los Gallitos, so I decided to check it out with a classmate on our lunch break. Little hole-in-the-wall type place next door to a laundromat, it certainly doesn't look like much. We each ordered a pork burrito and were not disappointed. Within 5 minutes out came a piping hot, massive burrito, smothered with spicy green chili and cheese. YUM! The pork was crispy and flavorful, and the size of the burrito was so substantial, it easily could be split between two people. For $7, this is some of the best mexican food you'll have. I will definitely be back to try the tacos and their breakfast burritos. read more

OMG! Seriously. The tacos al pastor are insanely delicious. I've had a couple of other items here, but the tacos are by a mile the best ones I've ever had. Forget the cost (it's unbelievably cheap here); just talking flavor and authenticity alone I would give this place three 5-star ratings. I've had my share of good Mexican food in the federal, Longmont, and downtown Denver area, but this has all of them beat by a long, long shot. read more

Food is great... place smells like piss. I had never been inside before and I was disgusted when I walked in last time.

The food is great, I don't think I ever had an issue with the other being wrong. But you're going to wait quite a bit for your food regardless if you asked for a gordita or 5 pounds of meat. The place is great overall. I recommend and will continue being a regular here. read more

Extremely poor customer service. The website says that they are open yet the doors are locked. There are two servers inside. Even seeing people knock they don't have the courtesy to come and explain why the doors are locked. Then I try to call them, they pick up once then hung up. And every time thereafter the phone just rings. Not worth your while. read more
