It's been many years since I last went to Las Margs. I used to go pretty often, but there was this guy who worked there, who was always rather pompous, I always assumed he was the owner. It soured me on the place, so I just stopped going. But recently, a coworker suggested we get lunch there, and I figured it had been long enough to try it again. I'm really happy I did. The vibe is great, sort of a sports bar feel but with a Mexican twist, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. I got the Reunion Combo, and it was a ton of food. It had a chicken tamale and a crispy relleno covered in this really tasty pork green chile, a red chile cheese enchilada, and a ground beef crispy taco. Everything was delicious, and the plate was huge. I definitely felt like I got what I paid for with the meal. The only thing I didn't like was the $4 ice tea. It kind of feels like a cheap way to make the bill bigger at the end, but honestly, the food and the better service made it worth it. I'm glad to have this spot back on my list for lunch in Commerce City. read more

I really liked the vibe in here, l.e.d boards and march madness games on made me a happy camper! the service was nice, and i was shocked with how fast our food and drinks came out. This place has amazing food!!! But the tables are always sticky and need to be replaced or put glass tops over them so you don't feel how gross they are. The seating could be more comfortable as well. They tend to be out of Casamigos tequila almost every time we go too, so I might just stop ordering margs when they are out. Not to mention this place has gotten expensive! We spend over $100 for two people for dinner on Mexican. Kinda crazy. read more

My husband and I's favorite lunch spot for Mexican food. He ordered some enchiladas. I ordered a carnitas taco and Carne Asada Taco with rice and beans. It was really tasty and delicious. We also shared a chorizo cheese dip with some tortilla chips. All very tasty and fresh. I highly recommend trying them out. read more

The staff is very friendly and helpful. I ordered take out. As I waited for my order, someone came in and, also, ordered take out. She received her order left got into her car snd drove away. I still hadn't gotten my order. When I did and got home, the food was awful. It was hard (as if it had been sitting for a while), the burrito was the size of an enchilada and the cheese in the rellano was solid. There was no 'smothered' anything. Having been in the business as my career I recognized this as if the server just forgot about it and let it sit there for quite some time. There are very few eating establishments in this area. I live pretty nearby so this is a common spot for me to go. I usually get the chicken fajitas which have an usual but tasty marinade. The chicken is always cooked well and pairs well with their queso and guacamole which i combine with the fajitas. The service is always friendly and prompt with me! The atmosphere inside is also fun for a small shopping center restaurant and only improved with their well priced margs. If you are in the area, I def suggest it! read more

Great food! Great service. Great atmosphere! Their green chili is some of the best I've had!! The chips and salsa are homemade and definitely awesome. The salsa taste fresh and is nice and spicy! Their vegetables fajitas are a giant pile of peppers and onions and zucchini. Cooked well and seasoned very nicely. Very flavorful! The chicken and avacado salad is very good as well. Las Margs is always a good spot to go to. I haven't been out to eat in awhile cause of dieting but we went out here last night and everything was exquisite. Their birria tacos are so delicious and packed with flavor. They give you onions, cilantro, spicy sauce, and their consume broth to dip it in on the side. I like that you can add it yourself in case you don't want everything (I hate cilantro so always leave it which is nice that it's not already on there). The tacos are also smooshed together with cheese which makes it that much better. Their fajitas were really good too we really liked the spice that was on there, and the veggies were grilled perfectly. Everything was very delicious and they always have great timing and customer service as well! Love this place as it's a very reliable place to go when you want some good food pretty fast! read more

Tried this place for the first time a few weeks ago. We went on a Thursday night around 5:45 and it was fairly busy but we were seated right away. Atmosphere was welcoming and pretty laid back. I wasn't sure what to expect considering it's in a little strip mall next to the nail salon we went to, but was pleasantly surprised. We both ordered the carnitas tacos and they were really good. I'm from Houston,Tx where there's a Mexican restaurant/food truck around every corner so when I saw this place I wanted to check it considering how close it was to our Air B/B. The food was good but what I didn't like which I'm accustomed to at home was that there were no free chips & salsa - that was extra!! The tacos while they were good they might as well if had been called "mini tacos" not only that but I had to order the tacos individually they did not come in a plate with a serving of rice/beans. I do not like the negativity on Las Margs Yelp page. Here to share the love. Las Margs is located in a hidden shopping center on Idalia St and E 103rd! Nearby establishments include a liquor store, cleaners, dentists office and Pets R Us animal hospital. Las Margs does have a parking lot, but it's a tad bit tight and there is a lot of traffic incoming and outgoing. The interior inside is very white, and simple. Perfect 6 feet enforced atmosphere, because it's not so crowded inside. The logo is seen painted with yellow sunflowers and red roses. There is a margarita glass and a small moto on the wall reading, "Tacos, Tequila, y todo." The small business has been open for a little over 3 years now and catering to locals in the Commerce City area. The website is simply just adorable and very mellow! I could tell the business owners have so much love with how they built their website. Monday's they are open during weird hours from 3:00pm-10:00pm, so keep that in mind. Las Margs has a Happy Hour Monday- Sunday. $3.00 Draft Beers, 4.00 House Marg and other Well Drinks. There is a brunch menu on the weekend (Sat&Sun) from 9:00-2:00pm. The $1.50 Mimosa is super classy and one of my favorite choices on their Sunday brunch menu. Upon entering the dine in area, we were sat down by some wonderful host and we were instantly given chips and salsa. We requested guacamole and sour cream. Lar Margs already offered us a variety of dipping options for our chips and that was new! I absolutely love the Shrimp with Chicken Fajitas because it comes with grilled bell peppers and onions. The sizzling Fajita comes with cool guacamole, sour cream, cheese and tortillas. I get the combo for $18.00, which for a Fajita, does make me happy. New business in what was once an Indian restaurant. This time we noticed plenty of parked cars here so why not try it? It's colorful and when we got here a bit busy. Order a Paloma and a Model Especial. Those came quick. My drink was a bit watered down but tasty. Our food order also came quickly. My give ordered 2 enchilada plate,rice only . I went with the Las Marg combo, enchilada, Chile relleno ,rice with no beans. I forgot everything here tends to come smothered in green chile( always has pork) so I had to send it back for the same ad my other half. Both came with beans(canned). No problem , we scooped them off). The rice was not bad, but doesn't seem homemade. The enchiladas, not too shabby. Better than what we've tried elsewhere. Overall, flavors aren't bad. Could use a bit of onion in the enchiladas We're still looking in search of really good Mexican food on Colorado, but this place we'd try again. read more

I got the Las Margs combo, it was very good. I would have to say it's the best Mexican restaurant in the area.

I would have given a 3rd star if the service was better. We walked in after 1:30 PM and there was only one other table with customers so not busy at all. However, we went unnoticed for about 10 to 15 minutes before I had to ask the hostess to get our waitress. It seemed to me that every staff person moved slowly and without urgency or regard to servicing their customers. Very disappointing because a restaurant will lose customers and ultimately their restaurant. Poor business management. But the margarita was good and the food was okay. We had to wait to get our chips and salsa ( which we had to pay for) when the bartender finished our drink order, which is very poor service. Can't the staff multitask or even prioritize their process when customers come in. Weird. I would not return. read more

Alright, this review is more about the SERVICE than the food. We've been ordering to-go for a few years and the food is usually good and consistent. We normally order the chile rellenos, a combo, and/or some apps. As far as service in the restaurant goes, it was terrible! It's been about a years since we've eaten inside, but on Sunday around 2pm, decided to have a family outing. There was a bartender and a server, and one table seated overall. It didn't take long to get seated, but it did take over 10 minutes for the server to arrive at the table to take drink orders. The bartender just sat at the bar and stared while our server moved around chairs, cleaned a table, and typed stuff on the computer. Once she finally arrived, she took our order and went back to what she was doing before (wiping off a counter, working on a computer). It literally took 5 more minutes to get waters and a chips/salsa. Once the food arrived, she didn't come back to the table again until it was time for the check. She was polite, just didn't seem like she wanted to work, to take 10 seconds to say hi and bring some water. I will say the food tasted on-par to what we expect from the kitchen and we enjoyed it. The server, however, provided some of the worst service I've had at any restaurant in many years. :-/ read more
