Wow I'm from San Diego CA and would go to Mexico for tacos all the time and these adobada tacos were just as good as those So much flavor and juice in each bite! The carnitas flavor was something I've never tasted before it has a raspberry salsa on top that was amazing! The meat was a little harder than I liked for those but you couldn't really tell cuz of the flavor. The burrito was kinda small for 10 bucks, But it was good. Nothing crazy about it though. Some of the best tacos I've stumbled upon in the Denver area. The meat in all the tacos is so tender and flavorful and the salsa is addicting and spicy. They clearly have a vision based on the way they prepare the tacos. They put a delicious fruit salsa on the carnitas, cheese on the chorizo and the green salsa deliciously incorporates Mexican oregano which is pretty unique. These are not your generic street tacos. One of the highlights is their beef barbacoa, I will challenge you to find a better barbacoa taco in Denver. It was so good that I forgot to take pictures. read more

They put their spin on classic street tacos. They also offered a couple that I would like to try, such as the tongue, but they were out by the time I got there. We had seen the El Lichen truck cart when it was on 120th, before they moved to 104th, but never made it.. So glad they came back to "our" side, at 120th & a dead end - but east of Claud Ct. (you can get to this dead end from either side of 120th - no median). They have tacos, quesadillas and burritos and about 10 different meats to chose from. We opted for tacos - lengua (tongue), carnitas (pork), chicharron (pork rinds), steak, adobado (marinated). Every single one of the tacos was incredible. Each one had their own topping and when applicable sauces to enhance it. Tortillas were perfectly cooked to be the delicious vessel and didn't fall apart with even more salsa added. Friendly and helpful service, they are parked on a dead end street, but you pull into the strip mall, and plenty of parking. They are perfectly located, you can see the yellow cart from 120th & Claud (if you're going west). They even have a communal table set up under a tree to eat there. 80s Music was playing - which was AWESOME, while you waited. And even while you wait, you get a pager. We were the only ones at the time, and still got a pager - on their truck is written, "we do not serve fast food, we serve good food, as fast as we can".. AND THEY DID. We didn't wait long, honestly, the only song that played was Duran Duran's Rio, and we our pager buzzed. I'm glad this place is parked less than a mile from me right now! Great little taco truck on the side of the road! They do offer a couple of tables to eat in. We tried the carnitas and steak tacos, carnitas burrito, and steak quesadilla. The tortillas were fresh and soft. The burrito was huge and hot, filled with a large amount of tender shredded meat, along with rice, beans, onions and green peppers. Hot sauce was actually hot and had a nice chile flavor. Service was excellent, the lady who took our order over the phone was friendly and polite. If this family keeps up this quality they will soon be moving on to expansion I'm sure. read more

Quite possibly the best street tacos I've ever had in my life. I mean they're that good. Seriously. Selfishly I'd rather not share this information so I can keep going back without dealing with huge lines of people, but the owners deserve to be paid millions for how awesome their food is. Our usual place that we go for tacos was closed for delivery so we decided to try a new locally owned place and El Lechon popped up. And we are so glad we tried it. We got two of almost every taco. We got chorizo, adobada, shrimp, steak, and carnitas. My favorite was the shrimp. Had a great crunch and flavor. We were questioning the raspberry salsa on the carnitas just because we never had that before but it was a pleasant surprise. It was really good and my boyfriends favorite.
