    The truck!
    Carly W.

Dos Gringos has been on my radar for a hot minute. So needless to say when I saw them parked at the Brighton Chile Festival - I knew what I was having for lunch! PRO: Wonderful sounding taco creations including Carne Asada, Green Chile Pork, Chipolte Chicken, Crispy Fish, and Beef Barbacoa. CON: They were out of both the Carne Asada and Green Chile Pork - the two tacos my fellow diner and I were interested in noshing on. Boo! Apparently they ARE that good! PRO: Portions are LARGE! CON: None! My hungry belly was beyond excited to devour the heaping pile of toppings/fillings on each of our tacos. PRO: They offer various options for tacos including mix 'n match options. The more you buy, you save a bit too! CON: No deals for two tacos. Bummer when they're so large! My experience with Dos Gringos was def "A-OK." I can't wait to check them out again and try some of their other menu offerings.

Hi, I'm Katie. I'm a food truck fiend. (hiiiiiii Katie!) Over the weekend it was my sole mission to sample as many food trucks humanly possible at The Big Wonderful, to which, we did! Dos Gringos was our 2nd stop and did not disappoint! Each street taco was filled to the brim with all the fixin's, featured all fresh ingredients (and perfectly seasoned meats!), was gorgeous in presentation and tasted delicious! We opted to try the 3 tacos for $10, which was perfect in size and oh, so good! The carnita's taco - being my favorite! The menu also features Tortas, which really gives you bang for your buck! Everything was reasonably priced and came out pretty quickly! With this food truck being all over the city (check out their website for location updates!), I'll make a point to return! #tacosarelife

Had the fish tacos, they're were really amazing! Would recommend if they're around

THE best breakfast burrito in the valley if you like mole. Their one pound gringos burrito with chorizo is my favorite in the valley.

Fish taco is legit, so is the macho burrito, and the staff is friendly as can be. Whenever I see this truck, that's what I eat. Keep it up.

After my first queso…read moretaco dipped into that rich, glorious consomé, I became someone who casually considers flying to Denver "for lunch." I started going when they were still operating out of their food truck, and honestly, watching them grow into a permanent restaurant feels like seeing your favorite underground band finally make it big... except instead of music, they're dropping cheesy taco masterpieces. The queso tacos are absolutely ridiculous in the best possible way: crispy, cheesy, messy, and worth ruining at least one shirt over. And the consome? That stuff could heal emotional damage. It's rich, comforting, and somehow makes you immediately want "just one more taco" even when you're already full. Every time I'm in Denver, this place is mandatory. Not optional. Not "if there's time." Mandatory. My vacation itinerary basically starts with flights and ends with tacos. So happy to see Kike's getting the recognition they deserve. If you haven't been yet, prepare to have your standards permanently ruined for all other tacos.

The horchata, though? Genuinely great. I actually also really liked the elote but my partner didn't. The consomé was fine, nothing memorable. It's a decent enough spot to swing by, but I'm not going out of my way to come back tbh.

It's also very unassuming. It looks like a very small restaurant on the outside but once you are inside, you'll be shocked to see its good size dining area. This place is all about happiness. I mean seriously!! They care about their customers that get satisfied with their service and meals. And it does draw a very diverse crowd from the Hispanics to Caucasians to Asians, I mean you name it. They also get a lot of to-go orders. Some people came in, grabbed their food and went on their way for the night. My friend got the Torta Los Carboncito. This is a massive sandwich with plenty of meat inside. Since the menu has colored picofor almost each item, what caught my attention was the fish dish. There are two of them: one is trout and the other is something else (I forgot) but I got me the non-trout one. The lady asked me if I wanted the flour or corn tortillas so I went with the corn one. As soon as I got home, my late night snacking started. I only took several bites out of that whatever the huge fish. And oh my goodness, it was so delicious! Well-seasoned with very light salt. Although I mainly got it for tomorrow morning/lunch I had a hard time quit eating because of its deliciousness. Extremely welcoming staff (I even met the owner, Alex as he was dining with his family), quality food and value pricing, this place checks out for the hidden gem restaurant that's not necessarily super fancy but it's worth every penny and time. Yelping is so much fun. That is why I cannot quit my foodie-ness! What a nice discovery!

The food was delicious! We got $2 chips and salsa off the happy hour menu and the queso con soyrizo (not on HH menu) which was served with warm tortillas. Honestly we probably didn't need all that because the tacos were so good I could've just filled up on more of the tacos, but still was a great meal! I ordered the lengua, pastor, and taco special (breaded shrimp). They were all so good. Think taco quality of a good street taco spot but with the ambiance of a cute tex mex bar. The bartender was great and made a solid marg ($8 on happy hour). You get a great deal on taco Tuesday but I'm sure you'd get great service and quality any day of the week!
