Finding authentic Mexican street tacos late at night used to be a challenge, but not anymore. This new spot serves Mexico-style tacos with flavorful pork chunks that taste like the real deal. Even better, there were four grill guys working together like a symphony--everyone knew their role, the orders came out fast, and you could tell they took pride in what they were doing. If you're looking for authentic late-night tacos instead of another chain, this place is absolutely worth checking out.

Food/Value: 5 This…read moreis really a street tacos review because the combination of delicious/made to order/$2.50 tacos (everyday) & the always stocked, fresh salsa bar provided is hard to beat. But judging by what others order, it all looks delicious. Service/Ambience: 4 I'd say it's the cleanest, brightest, easy to find "hole in the wall". Plenty of tables & banks of windows on 2 sides, it's quite pleasant to wait or dine. The only/same person I've seen up front, takes & delivers your orders. In between, he is wiping down tables, sweeping, or stocking the salsa bar. Always pleasant & efficient. I tip well mainly because of him (& the food)! Parking is the only issue. Only a handful of spaces shared by other businesses. I don't even bother pulling into the lot anymore. But I always find parking steps away on the side street. Overall: Who needs Taco Tuesday's? Head to El Pueblita ANY DAY for delicious, cheap street tacos! The only way they could improve would be if they added Suadero or Chuleta meat options.

Take a look at the pictures. One little piece of what I can only assume is chicken. Didn't even bother trying the pork, hubby tried both just for benefit of the doubt...yeah...just no. Maybe someone needs to learn how to make PROPER tamales. Seriously people DO NOT waste your money on these masales, I mean unless you love bland masa with couple peppers pieces here and there.

We were pleasantly surprised with their authentic Mexican food. The service was ok. No one speaks English, so that was a little bit of a struggle. However she did her best and I pointed to what I wanted, so we made it work. The older lady who was sitting at one of the tables was very unfriendly and the looks she kept giving me made me very uncomfortable. Otherwise, service was decent. The annoying part was the music playing on the speakers, the TV playing different music, and the other TV playing videos of yet another different music. It was overwhelming to have 3 different music playing at the same time. The ceviche was very good!!!! I would come back just for more of that any time. We also ordered tacos one carnitas and one barbacoa, which were a little dry inside and greasy on the outside but tasty. We also ordered the Gordita Papa Carne and Rajas Queso Corn and both were good. They or sure need to be eaten with a knife and fork, I tried to pick it up and it just spills out. Like the tacos, they needed something fresh to break up the richness. Once I put the ceviche on the Gordita, it was perfect. Truly a match made in heaven. My total bill was only $25.84 and I thought that was a good deal for the food we got. Decent pricing, good food, and close to my friends house. Overall it was a good experience.
