Saw this place on out way to the airport so whipped in. They had a drive-thru so decided to utilize that. The ladies were very nice and we had our burritos in less than 3 min! They were huge! You can get an egg & potato burrito for $3! Definitely give them a try! They also had tables and umbrellas to eat at outside. read more

Big Mamas Burritos - Huge Breakfast burritos - Street Vendors Near Me - Westminster, Colorado

I usually don't leave reviews, but this spot would be a 5/5 if they could wrap their handheld burritos without making them a complete mess. The flavors are delicious, we stop here a lot, but 9 out of 10 times our chili is leaking all over the wrapper and the burrito's not even wrapped when we open it. Pleaseeee fix it so I can enjoy your food without getting covered in chili. read more

Bland. The green chili has no flavor. Our burritos were bland and sad. The green chili had no spice and the burritos were just flavorless. This is one and done will never go back. read more

When I lived in Denver or visited I loved the breakfast burritos . Especially the green chile and chorizo. Makes me want to go back! Yum

Big mamas used to have 2 locations a couple blocks away from each other on each side of the highway the one I went to was on 72nd it is now closed so for ambiance doesn't really matter , service was prompt when I walked in , wasn't the greatest smelling area, but it was clean probably why they don't have that shop area no more. The main event food was good it was a little on the pricey side but in my opinion is worth it decent size burritos and we got 2 drinks. We will be back to try more food I apologize I normally take photos so we have a reference on the food but I was in a rush this morning. read more

Friendly and quick service. Yummy food at good prices. They have horchata and coffee and fruit drinks. Love the green chile :)

THE BEST CHILI CHEESE FRIES IN COLORADO! Breakfast burritos, depends on the day, sometimes only meat it seems, sometimes none.

Place is legit ! great specials good breakfast burritos fast service and they are always friendly.

Big Mama's is big on flavor. It was our first official day in Colorado, it was Emily's birthday weekend and she wanted breakfast burritos to start it off on a delicious note. After a few minutes, she found Big Mama's Burritos and said that was our destination... so we all loaded up in Sammy's car and headed that way. As we pulled up, I made a comment about how I saw it on our drive into town just 12 hours ago. In the dark, it looked rundown and closed. In the summer morning sunshine, it didn't look much better but in we went. On the wall across from you as you enter, they have a white board with their daily specials on it. The deal is a burrito for $5 with egg, potato, meat, cheese, and chile. The meat inside is what rotates daily and Saturday happened to be ham. I bought Emily and my burrito and it was only $10 and change. Not knowing the size of the burrito, we didn't know if that was a good deal or not. We waited in the small building while people kept pouring in and ordering food. While there is room to sit down and eat, there isn't much space if there's anyone else seated. I made the mental note that despite the look of the place, the amount of people coming and going was a lot. After about 10 minutes, all 4 of us had our burritos and we headed out to get coffee and continue the day. We stopped at Subjective Coffee to get some caffeine and eat our haul. As we unrolled our burritos, you could tell it was filled to the brim. Emily and I dug in first since Sammy and Kero were still waiting for their coffees. The first bite was pure bliss and each bite after that only got better and better. For $5, this may have been the best burrito I have ever had. Sure, I've had fancier ones and bigger ones but for just the price alone... this was the best thing ever. Emily, Sammy, and Kero thought the same and we were all delighted that despite the shady look of the place... we had some bomb burritos to start our day. We stayed in Colorado for another 3 days and there wasn't a day where I didn't mention how I would be okay with going back for more. Even if the food was just so-so, the price alone made it worth it... not with just how expensive everything is getting but with how pricey Colorado can be. Big Mama... whoever you are... you have a BIG fan in Central Illinois. read more

Always a winner. The breakfast burritos here are awesome and service is great. Generally, this is our weekly spot for work breakfast

New favorite spot for burritos. The chili is so effing good, I got half and half and it's just right, not too hot to where you can't taste anything but still spicy to get that kick. The guy at the counter was very nice and welcoming, I didn't get his name sadly. Definitely going to come here again read more

If I could rate this place a zero I would. I've been coming to big mamas for years, the food used to be delicious. But since the second restaurant shut down you guys have gone down hill. Your employees are extremely rude when THEY messed up the order. Your cook in the back DOES NOT know how to roll burritos correctly. You guys do not put enough meat in the burritos for them to be priced at price they are listed. I called to talk to the manager and they blocked my number. Extremely Unprofessional. Family owned or not you have a responsibility to serve customers food they we can actually eat and make sure we are SATISFIED. I'm extremely disappointed. (And if the cook wants to run his mouth back in the kitchen MAYBE YOU SHOULD GET A NEW COOK) read more

Called to place an order was on hold for 5 minutes, hung up called back and the same jerk asked me to hold again. Told him NO , I was already on hold and forgot about. He didn't like my answer made sone lame excuse and Instead of trying to correct his mistake wanted to argue instead. I get it we ALL get busy, but no excuse for ignorance, nice way to lose business and a loyal customer base! read more

Always fresh and great customer service. Burritos are huge and tasty. You can get DoorDash now!

The food was great! The mild green chili and tamales were so delicious and not too spicy, which I loved!

THE BEST breakfast burritos you'll ever have Customer service is great, and they had our food ready less than 10 mins after ordering! Fresh, hot, and delicious! I got the bacon breakfast burrito smothered with medium chili! Ignore all the haters giving less than 5 stars. Probably a bunch of Karen's looking for somewhere to spread their hatred. read more

I've been going here for ten years, as I live down the street. About a year ago, their burritos started being 85% potatoes w/ the tiniest amount of eggs mixed in there somewhere, although you cannot even taste them. Hardly any green chili. I ordered a Big Mamas burrito with double the meat & green chili and an extra egg. There was no double meant, hardly any green chili and no extra egg. Such a disappointment and waste of money. The quality of what was my favorite burrito restaurant is now below par. read more

Absolutely the worst mash potato breakfast burritos in my life how can you serve the food ? Smells like a bathroom poop when you walk in. .

Co- workers keep talking about this place and how it's so good. So I decided to check it out. It's a little mom and pop restaurant that makes excellent killer burritos. Big and filling with all the right ingredients and spices. I had a breakfast burrito and the bacon inside was thick and flavorful. I'll come back for more delicious flavors. read more

These burritos are awesome! Got turned on to this place a few weeks ago, I've tried the breakfast burrito and the beef and bean, always with hot green chili. Today is was $6, tasted great. Chili is tasty and a little on the tame side. Portion size is good. Eat here. read more

Drive-thru only Can't give 5-stars because I have zero info on anything other than their daily breakfast burrito specials. That's all I get. I'm here at least 3 times a week. It's a solid burrito for less than $4. It's actually better than solid, it's phenomenal. The flavor and value cannot be beat in Denver. Seriously. My favorite is the Ham. I think it's only available on Saturday for the special price. The burrito changes daily. They have some repeats throughout the week but it's 5 different burritos. Menu is large but the ordering process is a time waster. You order at the window, so the lines are long depending on what people order. I'm sure they'll take call ahead orders if it's large enough. But like I said, I only get the daily breakfast burrito special. It's bomb af... read more

Food and service excellent! Can't wait to visit Colorado and eat there again. Close to softball fields.

BigMama is everything you want to find in a breakfast burrito - perfect tasting, consistency and flavor. The burrito was humongous -- it'll take a very motivated and hungry individual to complete it. It's jam-packed yet is simply made with the man ingredients - potato, egg, cheese and your choice of meat, which I specially like. I know there are places that like to get creative and their burritos always have some strange mush inside. What I like most about BigMama burritos is that the egg is fluffy, the meat is well distributed. The employees are very nice and friendly. They do take orders over the phone so you don't have to wait in line which happens every morning/lunch time and they do get really busy! read more

I went hungry this morning as no one came to the drive up window for the 5 minutes that I waited. Sign says OPEN. A restaurant only needs to mess up once or twice before ya give up on them. Guess I'll find a new location to get my breakfast burrito fix. There are numerous option along Federal. I'll let ya know what alternatives are out there. But I'm giving up on Big Mama's. read more

This place is our go to breakfast burrito place. It's decently priced and quick. The portions are enormous so expect to be full for a good part of the day. Big Mamas Burritos - a woman holding a burrito - Street Vendors Near Me - Westminster, Colorado

This place is hit or miss with food quality. When it's good, it's good though. The most frustrating thing about this place is they ALWAYS CLOSE EARLY! They advertise staying open til 5, but I've driven through as early as 4:30 and been told the cook isn't cooking any more today- what?!? Today I'm here at 4:40 and surprise, surprise, CLOSED!!! Spent a lot of money here over the years, but think I'll take my business elsewhere. read more

This restaurant is really expensive for being a hole in the wall kind of place, and I've had better Mexican food. Also their customer service needs improvement!!! While I was in the middle of ordering, the cashier answered the phone, and instead of asking the caller to hold please, she began taking their order! After the phone call was finished, the cashier had the audacity to say "sorry about that, you wanted a burrito?" So rude!! 2 handheld breakfast burritos (not even smothered bc apparently they charge $2 extra to put the chile on the outside rather than the inside) and a bowl of menudo was nearly $30. The service and quality of food is not worth it. Will not be back. read more

Since my partner in crime is away with her family for a few days and my funds are depleted from Christmas shopping, I have resorted to going to places that (a) I have a coupon; and (b) I have never been before. Tonight I tried Big Mamas, and ended up purchasing 2 burritos for $5 with the coupon from the Entertainment Book. I ordered two burritos -- a shredded pork with cheese and shredded beef with cheese. The standard burritos come with a protein and chili (mild, medium, hot), but the cheese is extra. I found the meat to be a little salty, and the medium chili was tasty and not too spicy. With the exception of the tortilla, the food seems to be made fresh. One filled me up, so the size is pretty decent. I prefer these burritos over Qdoba because they are not full of unnecessary rice and beans like Qdoba's burritos. Tried it (Check), now on to the next place. read more
