Amongst the Best zurbiyan I ever ate. Zurbiyan is a Yemeni Specialty food that's not commonly found in U.S.

Town Bakery is one of the few Middle Eastern bakeries open during Ramadan. Due to the holidays,…read morethey had a shortened menu with many items not being available during the month. What was available were the delectable looking mini pies in the display case in the front. Not what I wanted when I first walked in, but I can't really complain! Dozen Pies ($9.90) - Got 6x Zaatar, 3x Round Meat, 3x Cheese. The Zaatar has the characteristic earthiness and tanginess from the sumac, toasted sesame and other spices. The cheese is mild and milky. I think they only use mozzarella as it didn't have the characteristic saltiness and tanginess from the other cheese types traditionally on pies. The meat is well spiced with bursts of sweet allium pungency and a bit of acidity from the tomato. All three pie types were quite good after reheating in the toaster oven. The only thing that brings down my score is that the base bread is overly sweet. They put quite a bit of sugar in the dough that some bites felt like I was eating a dessert bread rather than a savory pastry. I will be back after Ramadan to try their other items.

I would give it a 4.5 probably but I'll be nice and round up. I only tried the bakery items…read more First off the fresh big cheese bread here is SOME OF THE BEST I've ever had. So good. So fresh. So cheesey. The meat pie, spinach pie, and labneh were decent. They heated it up for me but they were still kinda cold. The meat pies were very bread-y. I like the meat pies at kings better. Next time I'll try the lamb or mandi chicken. Mmm.

Our server, Shireen, was very polite, knowledgeable, and helpful with our menu selections. My friend order the lamb fahsa and I ordered the shrimp seltah based on our server's recommendation. The food arrived at our table piping hot. It was delicious! This is one of the best restaurant meals that I've had in a long time. The food had a very authentic and down home feeling to it. I also really enjoyed the large, warm rounds of tanoor flatbread that was served with our meals. I plan to come back to try more of this wonderful Yemeni cuisine. This place is a hidden gem!!!

The food was outstanding. The lamb was incredibly tender, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The fresh bread, rice, and overall quality of the meal reminded me why Dearborn has become one of my favorite food destinations whenever I'm in Michigan. What made the experience even better was the service from Murad. From the moment I sat down, Murad was welcoming, attentive, and genuinely kind. He got my food out quickly, checked on me throughout the meal without being intrusive, and before I left, he thoughtfully brought me a wonderful cup of tea to finish the evening. His warm smile, positive attitude, and professionalism made a great meal even more memorable. Restaurants can serve excellent food, but great hospitality is what keeps people coming back. Murad is a perfect example of that. If management is reading this, he's doing an outstanding job representing your restaurant. I'll be back every time my travels bring me to Dearborn.

Michigan weather would make me want this type of soup on a regular basis. The garlic sauce is a thick dip that was great for dipping the falafel and the fries. You have the option to get your fries seasoned- do that! It has a little spice but it's perfect. The falafel was perfectly cooked. Not too dry with a little crunch. I would definitely order those on each visit. The sandwich was filling and stuffed full of perfectly seasoned chicken. The garlic dip and pickles were spread throughout the inside of the sandwich as well. The thin bread was both soft and crisp. We ended with a hot black tea with cardamom. It was a great way to finish the meal. Although it is not a profile I am used to, I enjoyed it. The service was top tier! The young man was so friendly and polite. He offered suggestions and was quick with our food. It was a fantastic experience. I would highly recommended this place. Be sure to check it out.

Some irritated guy in a pickup and van drove in, after I had to back up, since he was giving me unpleasant gestures to me as I was in the drive to exit the turn left. He got out of his truck and was trying to approach me. I quickly locked my car, he looked mad and quite aggressive. I ended up turning right to get away from him. What a scary experience. Felt unsafe and run off the drive and lot.
