Yemeni Brakefast! More like a brunch. As a vegetarian, Almost all the time I go to a Yemeni restaurant I order from the brakefast. I have been to few others locally. I found haneeth house to be little bit better and cleaner. The service was fast and friendly and the food was fresh. My favorite here so far. Fassolia - kidney beans cooked Yemeni style . Very good vegetarian option. Foowl- this is more of a thick curry kind of consistency. With their Tanoor bread. (It's very close to Indian tandoori Naan) They have a lot of egg options again from brakefast. Will be back to try them. This place is huge.. plenty of parking in front.

It's pure madness after work to park if it's busy at Papaya down the street. Seems always to be so busy there all of the time. I have mixed feelings about this place being where it is, because it took over one of my favorite Lebanese spots here on warren at Chase. However, I do really like Yemeni food and that's what's been here since last November. I got some carry out order. I got the chicken Fahsa, large and spicy and a large Mushakkal. I skipped the bread since it's extra and I don't prefer to eat it anyways. Seems rather cheap of them to not even give us the store bought bread when I spent over $34 for my carry out food. I also got a large house salad. The fatoosh is the house with pita chips. Once again it concerns me that they are in such a big place. I hope they are busy at lunch and after I leave. They're only two tables full while I was here. The guy that took my order said it shouldn't be long. It took about 20 minutes. Let's see how the food is, hoping it's outstanding, since I generally like and Yemeni food to be really savory and yummy. This parking lot and shopping center is an absolute zoo. It is an absolute pain to get in and out of this lot. It's after 6:30 PM. There was a line to get in the parking lot from the street when I came in at 6 PM. It was just as frustrating getting out of the parking lot as it was to get in. This is the first time I've come here after work and after 6 PM. I've only been in the parking lot at lunchtime before and it's never as crazy busy as it is after work hours. The chicken Fahsa and the Mushakkal were somewhat wrapped. They did put cellophane around it, but it still leaked out a bit. There's a lot of juice in both dishes. The salad container was packed full and had two dressings. I was happy to give me extra dressing, especially since I give you a lot of lettuce. It is mostly iceberg lettuce, some parsley, English cucumbers and tomatoes. The dressing was in bed and the salad was OK. The chicken Fahsa tasted good, they gave me a side of the hot salsa to add to it, as it's not I see it all. I did get a couple small pieces of bone in my first two bites, I'm treading lightly and carefully with every bite. I don't want to lose her crackin i'm treading lightly and carefully with every bite. I don't want chip or crack any teeth. Found a longer piece of bone and then a slightly bigger piece I'd bone and then several pieces of cartilage and chunks of gristle as I ate further into the stew. I felt like an archeologist finding so many fragments of bone in this stew. Do they butcher the chicken and toss it into the stew? Not cool. I could have easily chipped 4-5 of my teeth by now. Take a bit more care in preparing your meat before it goes into the stew. Don't haphazardly toss meat and bones into a dish. The Mushakkal tastes quite good and is packed with a lot of good vegetables. Both of the dishes are quite savory and delicious, minus the fragments of bone in my chicken fahsa. The hot salsa is good. I could eat it by itself or with some nacho chips.

    BBQ Chicken

This was our first time to Haneeth House and we were pleasantly surprised. We generally like Lebanese food more so than Yemeni, and luckily they have both. We had the creamy, garlic chicken and the boneless BBQ and both were very good. We ordered Fattoush salads as our sides and probably would go with the soup next time. The salads were large but just not as good as you get at most other Mediterranean restaurants. The rice is excellent. Overall, we really enjoyed our dinners and the service was excellent as well. Nice place.

The Food was fantastic and spicy good. My daughter hates that so she ordered chicken nuggets, plain rice and bread Ok, she had to eat that! Luckily I got to eat tasty dishes such as haneeth, shafoot, salta and fahsa. I really enjoyed the food here. Not so much the ambience. Haneeth is in the old Ajami restaurant and they didn't do much to the interior to make the space their own. At least not yet. I would love if they draped some fabrics from the ceiling to give a khaimah (tent) feel! (hint hint) Anyway, the food was great, but that's not the only part of a dining experience. We sat at one of the booths that are up on the platform that goes around the perimeter of the dining room. It's about 6" higher than the rest of the dining area. But whomever installed that didn't properly support the floor and it's just not solid; the incredible vibrations when the staff or customers pass your table makes everything on the table vibrate. Additionally, the booths are half circles and cozy, but each sectional is made of two cushions, so if four people are at the booth, two of those people share a cushion. This is important because every single move you make is shared with the person on your cushion. And maybe this is understood between adults and they sit still. But I shared my seat with my daughter who fidgets, and moves her weight back and forth from one position to another. I was so distracted from being literally bounced up and down on the bench from my daughters movements, and the glasses on the table shaking and silverware clanking from the vibrations of the staff each time they walked by. Ok yes, you may have guessed I'm super sensitive, and perhaps this won't be noticed by many people, but oh my god, if I go there again I will sit at a table on the floor instead. It was super annoying and it continued through the entire meal. I'm still rating this place 4/5 stars cuz the food was great, each employee I met was super friendly, approachable and helpful, and the cooks/chefs were efficient but damn, they should have supported the flooring better, and poked holes in the vinyl booth benches to let the air out! I felt like I was on a 3D ride at Universal. Grrrrrr!

    Lamb Haneeth

After carefully reading reviews and hearing many things about this place, I decided to come here with my parents. This place is coming together slowly. Yes it was a previous Lebanese restaurant and will be remodeled to Yemeni perfection, so give them a break if you're heading in there any time in the next 2 weeks or so. Going on, the food. Complimentary fresh bread at every table. I had the Lamb Haneeth because why get anything else when going to a place that's known for that. And a very easy 5/5. Falling off the bone delicious. I had the shoulder part and that's my favorite! The Haneeth came with a bed of rice(amazing rice with raisins and almonds)and a choice of soup or salad. I chose the soup and they had the options of Marag, Lentil or Chicken Lemon Rice. Assuming the Chicken Lemon Rice soup is creamy as it should be, I ordered that and that was nothing more than a 0/5. It's not creamy. Looks like a bunch of things thrown together and flavor is not good. That needs a whole new recipe! But again, they're still figuring things out and I hope they're taking people recommendations. I also tried the Marag and that was a 4/5. The salad was very well 5/5. And the Sahawig(Yemeni Salsa) paired perfectly to the rice and Haneeth. Service was alright, not very attentive. Our waitress was kind of slow and there was only 2 other tables. Im very nice about service even if it's bad. I've had years in customer service experience as well as waiting experience. 3/5 Overall, I'm still going to give them a 5 star rating because that's how good the Haneeth was. Really. This is definitely up there with one of my favorite Haneeth. After my mother's of course! :) (mom i know you're reading this)

I ordered there plain foul (fava beans) for the first time today and to say I was impressed would be an understatement, it was top notch and definitely will coming back again, and too add there service was very good

Perfectly tender lamb and deliciously seasoned chicken on a bed of basmati rice and side of vegetables.

We were also looking for vegetarian options for a colleague that I was with. In a cool part of town, Himalayan Flames is right in the middle of a bustling area full of shops and restaurants. On this particular weeknight, the area was fairly busy. There's some parking on the street but there's also a huge parking lot behind the block that Himalayan Flames is on, so go on back there and find a spot. There are signs on the back of the building you guiding you to a back entrance which leads to a number of different businesses. You'll find the entrance to Himalayan Flames towards the front of the building. We were seated right away and began browsing the menu. Not a huge place, but cozy and nicely decorated. Cool vibe. I opted for the Lamb Korma and Garlic Naan bread. Outstanding on both fronts. The Lamb Korma was full of flavor and perfectly spiced for my taste. I forget the spice level options, but go with what you know. Whatever I asked for was perfect. Lamb was tender and tasty. Combine that with the edible scoop that you can make out of the Naan bread and you're set. Would I go back? Without question. I highly recommend giving Himalayan Flames a shot and check out their flavor filled menu with options for everyone. We were impressed and hopefully you will be also.

Let's just grab a quick bite. I didn't know what to order so I ordered the Ontario and an iced caramel latte. Once the sandwich came out I thought," Hmm looks good." Drove all the way back to the office. My chicken kafta looks to be lamb, not at all what I ordered. My large fattoush is covered in pita chips. Had to spend several minutes getting every pita chip out of the salad. It's good I am not allergic to gluten. They shove the dressing packet in the corner of the salad, so you get a bit less, that and the pita chips. Other than that, the salad was fine. I am quite disappointed the order is not right! The crushed lentil soup has a lot of rice in it, which is just filler to me. Has some clumps of something, may be rice and starch? It's too inconvenient to drive all the way back. Do be sure to check your carry out order before you leave the place. The crushed lentil is quite bland, not much flavor to it. Tastes some fennel, quite a few clumps of starch. The soup is more rice than lentil. I could count on one hand how many traces of lentil was in my bowl of soup. What in the world? My husband ate the lamb kafta, since I don't eat red meat. He said it was so-so, but rather dry.
