I guess you could call this hidden gem. Aden Cafe is nestled among the wildwood shopping center off of lakeshore parkway. Known for its middle eastern style offerings including Yemeni coffee and other kinds of coffee (hot or iced), pastries, crepes, and ice cream you will find it hard to find something you won't like. The place itself is a relaxed environment where you could study or catch up with friends. I tried the iced Aden latte (espresso, milk, pistachio and lavender) and it's the best coffee off of lakeshore. None of the flavors were overpowering the others. I also ordered a biscoff crepe and a sabaya. The sabaya was flaky and crispy, smothered in delicious honey. It wasn't the thickest sabaya but I enjoyed it! The biscoff crepe was so decadent. The crepe itself was soft and chewy, the perfect texture for such a delicious crepe. The fruit given with it also paired well with the drizzled sauce. The pastry quality was below average. The girl was not welcoming at all and apparently she couldn't explain their menu! We ordered one piece of each type of baklava that was already prepared and displayed in the shop, but they charged us for two of each. When we asked about it, they refused to correct the order and claimed they had already prepared and warmed them for us. That was not true,the baklava was not even warm. The customer service was awful, and the taste was honestly worse than boxed baklava you can buy from a grocery store. Very disappointing experience. read more

This cafe is pretty good! The area is a nice place to hang out with friends, and what not. When I went to this cafe, I ordered the Biscoff Crepe, and my friend ordered the Strawberry Dubai Chocolate cup. My opinion on my order was decent, I will have to say it was very sweet, and I could not finish it all. All that means though is that I can save some for later! My order cost $12.99 without tax, which I think is a pretty good price for what I got. My friend on the other hand had a different opinion on her order. She said that is it what she imagined it to be like, but extra sweet. She didn't believe that it was worth the price ($15), and she doesn't plan on ordering it again, but is willing to try something else from the menu. The staff there was nice and welcoming! I've been hearing about this cafe and the strawberry cups so I stopped by on a weekday afternoon. A few customers came and went while I was there. I ordered the strawberry cup that has layers of fresh strawberries, crispy kataifi (shredded phyllo dough), creamy pistachio cream, and melted chocolate. It's $15 and very sweet. I ate some of it and took the rest home to eat with my own fruits because chocolate is chocolate. I have no idea what "Dubai chocolate" is supposed to be so I can't comment on whether this cup is good or not. New cafe in the Lakeshore strip mall track. The staff were all so kind, I believe this place is family run and owned. My friends wanted to come for the Dubai chocolate strawberries. They were incredibly delicious. I saw them back there cutting up a ton of fresh strawberries. The chocolate and pistachio sauces were amazing and the perfect sweetness and consistency. I definitely recommend splitting this with somebody, though. It's a lot to eat on your own. I had a small scoop of ice cream that was tasty. When you enter into this quaint cafe, they have several tables set up, as well as a traditional couch seating area in the back. Our servers were so sweet and attentive.
