I've been hearing about this cafe and the strawberry cups so I stopped by on a weekday afternoon. A few customers came and went while I was there. I ordered the strawberry cup that has layers of fresh strawberries, crispy kataifi (shredded phyllo dough), creamy pistachio cream, and melted chocolate. It's $15 and very sweet. I ate some of it and took the rest home to eat with my own fruits because chocolate is chocolate. I have no idea what "Dubai chocolate" is supposed to be so I can't comment on whether this cup is good or not. Interesting decor and tempting menu of drinks and sweets so I might stop by and try something else.

New cafe in the Lakeshore strip mall track. The staff were all so kind, I believe this place is family run and owned. My friends wanted to come for the Dubai chocolate strawberries. They were incredibly delicious. I saw them back there cutting up a ton of fresh strawberries. The chocolate and pistachio sauces were amazing and the perfect sweetness and consistency. I definitely recommend splitting this with somebody, though. It's a lot to eat on your own. I had a small scoop of ice cream that was tasty. The staff gave us samples of their hot chai tea, I would totally come back for some more of just the chai.

Came for the hype of the Dubai chocolate strawberries. While the strawberries are freshly cut and the chocolate was delicious, it's a little sweet for my taste and a little over priced. I did enjoy the Aden latte which had rose and pistachio flavor in it! This was really good!! My boyfriend got the drip coffee. Disclaimer that it will take 15+ minutes to make because it's a slow process. The furniture is unique to sit on. Very quiet. Not the best location. It's was nice to try, but the sweets are too sweet for my taste.

Trust me the crepes are so yummy! A must try! This may not the place for you if you're looking for standard coffee that is not their specialty Go for dessert and get the crepes any of them and the Adeni chai They have ice cream too. It's more of chai and dessert lounge than a standard coffee house with experienced baristas making flavored coffee. You probably won't get an oat milk ice macchiato here. But those crepes are so good and huge! Quality fresh ingredients and freshly made The Adeni chai is tea with milk and spices and it is super comforting.

Oooh Aden is such a fun addition to Birmingham. To my knowledge, there's nothing else like it here yet. Tucked into a shopping strip, Aden cafe is in a very unassuming spot. When you enter into this quaint cafe, they have several tables set up, as well as a traditional couch seating area in the back. Our servers were so sweet and attentive. Coffee, icecream, drinks, and fun desserts are on the menu. Desserts are very decadent. We enjoyed the biscoff crepe, knafeh, and a lime/mint drink. This is a great spot for a morning coffee, midday snack, or late night dessert - their hours are almost all day! Wanting to come back to try the Dubai chocolate strawberries!

Needed a sweet treat after a day date with my hubs I've been wanting to try the viral Dubai chocolate strawberry cups & heard great things about this spot super cute establishment they also have ice cream & some pastries I liked the Dubai chocolate however there's no way you can eat it all in one sitting it's very decadent and rich but good I wish it came in a smaller size I've been eating on it for two days my hubs got moose tracks ice cream come & he said he it was just aight not sure if I'd come back but price wise this is the best spot to try the Dubai chocolate

I was really looking forward to this place. The decor and everything inside is super cute. My friend Roxanne and I each got a dubai chocolate strawberry cup. It was pretty pricey at $14.29 a cup so not likely something I would order again here. It was delicious as far as the chocolate and the strawberries. I'm not sure I liked the crunchy stuff on top that much. They have ice cream and lots of coffee options as well.

Visited this establishment midday for dessert only! We sampled the BISCOFF CREPE, DUBAI CREPE, and the viral DUBAI STRAWBERRY CUP. I would have to say all these desserts were decadently sweet! I definitely got my sugar rush just sampling each. I do love the strawberry cup because all the cream and chocolate are balanced with the tart strawberries. Definitely check it out! They do carry quite a few flavors of Hershey's ice cream. The customer service is prompt and informative!

We tried the Biscoff crepe and it was delicious, definitely on the sweet side. The workers were super friendly and answered all our questions. They have tables and sitting areas for big groups. Love that they are opened til 12am. Perfect place for a late night sweet treat!

I was pleasantly surprised by the environment and the coffee was excellent! The service was warm and friendly and I'll definitely be back.

It was a very nice vibe in there! I went to try the dubai chocolate strawberries, which I thoroughly enjoyed! They were very nice and helpful. Only reason I give 4 stars I'd because I have only tried the strawberries but I definitely want to go back and try more items on the menu.

This was our second time coming to Aden Cafe, and we knew we had to get a repeat of the Dubai Strawberry Cup and Dubai Chocolate Bar both are absolutely addictive! But this time, we added the Dubai Crepe, and no lie... it's one of the best things I've ever tasted. The crepe batter is perfect soft, fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced with all the toppings. It's literally everything. Everything here is made fresh to order, so expect a little wait, but it's totally worth it. The cafe interior is super cool and trendy, with unique decor, comfy seating, and a chill vibe that makes you want to stay and hang out. Whether you're into sweets, tea, or just want a cozy hangout spot, this place is a gem. We'll definitely be back again and again

Nestled in the Mountain Brook area, it's a little hard to see but is right next to Chez Lulu, which I think is a sister restaurant. Parking is a little tricky but manageable. I got there fairly late so the selection was a bit picked over, but I still got a good array of treats to bring home. Service was a touch slow but friendly. They were fairly busy. There's no room to eat inside or outside that I could discern; it's exclusively a take and go type of place. I got two pecan sandies to share with my parents, who were along for the ride, and then a cardamom bun and a peanut butter cookie for later. Sadly, I don't feel like any of the pastries really wowed. The pecan sandies were a little too dry (even as sandies go) and the pecans didn't taste toasted nor were they especially plentiful. The peanut butter cookie was the best thing, though it too was a little on the dry side - nice PB flavor though. I straight up didn't like the cardamom bun. The cardamom flavor was completely overwhelming, to the point it wasn't sweet at all, and instead tasted almost medicinal. The texture was nice but I couldn't finish it. Perhaps I arrived too late to order their specialties. I know they specialize in European goodies so if I return I'll make sure to try a croissant or something similar.

There was just one full table of about eight people and then two other tables which weren't close to us so they ended up putting an extra table in so we could all sit together.
