When I picked up my bag, that item was returned at my request, but I discovered additional items were missing that had not been purchased or returned. I contacted the business to resolve this. The explanation for what happened changed multiple times before I was told there had been a processing error. Their responses addressed only the missing item and did not account for the item that had been listed for sale online until I pressed for clarification and was given a separate explanation of it being an "inventory issue." This experience left me without confidence in how customer inventory is tracked and handled. If you choose to sell or donate items here, I recommend documenting everything you bring in.

I was trying to coax her into their cute little play room, with no such luck. In the midst of that, I got a lecture about not allowing my daughter to pull things out of place. Like... "no way?" It was obvious I was trying to handle the 'situation'. And EVEN IF I wasn't... she wasn't destroying anything. Just a thought... a baby clothing store should be kind, understanding and patient with babies? I was so bummed, because I wanted to make it a normal spot to shop. I found a dress and two tops that were perfect. The one top they said it was in a size "OS" meaning One Size and it wouldn't fit me. I am about 140 pounds, and pretty much the size of the sales woman who was wearing same. I tried it on and it fit perfectly. As I am trying on, I am looking around for a sales rep for an opinion. God forbid I made eye contact with Anna at her desk, about 20' from the fitting room. She avoided eye contact. No smile. I asked about a restroom. The sales member after I paid them over $300 "allowed me" to use the probably $25K bathroom and snuck me in so Anna wouldn't know. I am not classy enough to have the privledge of peeing in her store as a shopper. After wearing the items I purchased I returned and bought one more "OS" blouse and another of the dress I had (both in other colours). Once again, crickets when I looked out for help, and a glare and avoided eye when I looked over at Anna, again, at her desk. At this point I am feeling like a third class citizen, and I don't like to support businesses that have bad joojoo, bad customer service, mean owners, but I did so thinking, okay, maybe she is having a bad day. A bad week. The sales team were nice enough! One 7/22 I also on impulse purchased two trinket rings. They were $24. I wore them daily and right away they both started to turn pink. 22 days later, I returned to the store, greeted the gals putting out the carpet politely, "what a beautiful day!" (it was!) and proceeded to show a sales person the rings. She asked if I had the receipt. I had! Oh, she said, this is from JULY TWENTY TWO! As if a year had passed. 22 days had passed. Yes, you have REALLY hard hours to accomodate, as you are rarely open, and as a shop owner myself, I had to skirt around your hours. I was made to feel humiliated that I dared to come back in. I was told "MOST people know that WR means Water Resistant and these AREN'T. Oh, I guess I am not most people. And I saw no sign at the register about WR rings, or Non WR resistant rings, and maybe you could tell people that, or put out a sign, or not carry items that are going to spoil in 3 weeks time? Oh, heaven forbid, these are not returnable. Anna was summoned to tell me the official news. So, for $11 wholesale (likely, or less), Anna and Co - Anna and her team - humiliated me, condescended to me, disrespected me and did not end up refunding or even exchanging for credit the rings. That is what my business was worth to her. I asked her if she was local, and she told me that her kids went through high school here. Not sure what that meant, but I did not get a welcoming local vibe in this store. I will be obtaining any future Karamel (Italy) and Vine & Love from other retailers who honor customer service and who appreciate their customers. I am like MOST people, we work hard and deserve appreciation and common decency or we will take our hard earned dollars elsewhere. I am glad that this shop is no longer part of our amazing downtown energy! And judging from the reviews, I am not alone.

Amazingly, I walked in and immediately my eyes were drawn to the rack of creams, tans and browns - colors that would all match my dark cerulean floral dress. I pulled out the first item that appealed to me and low and behold, it fit perfectly! It was a little pricey at $100, but truly a steal for the Nordstrom brand and suede fabric - definitely a timeless piece. The woman who helped me was very kind, and even entered me into a raffle for a gift card (despite me not living in the area). Right now they have a lot of summer sale items, and 30% off their back racks. The store isn't large, but they have a robust selection of dresses, sweaters and jackets, boots, bags and more. What I do like it the option for how much you want to spend, usually there are three options; standard, deluxe and premium. I've even used the designer's selection when I wanted something special but not roses... again! Most all of my orders are made online and I've set up specific dates to trigger an email to me as a reminder. Their service and selection is wonderful. They have contacted me in the past to clarify orders and arrangements and have made flower delivery to the house very easy. It's got the point that I will return the vases the arrangement come in because we end up with too many at the house and I know CF can reuse them. I've stopped by the shop one year for rose petals to write a message on a king size bed, CF had me covered. They do have lots of knick knacks and gifts in the shop with arrangements in the cold storage. Great place for all your floral arrangement needs. Because we always need a little aloha…read more.. Julie was so helpful. I came in on a Monday and needed flowers for my mom's memorial service the following Saturday. We wanted the flowers to be Hawaiian themed and had specific ideas of what type of displays we wanted. She worked with me to confirm if she would be able to get the flowers we wanted on such late notice. What really impressed me was first - her compassion for our loss; second - her honesty about what flowers were and were not available (January in Paso Robles); and, lastly - her willingness and creativity in helping us realize our vision. My only regret is that I did not take close up photos at the service! It was beautiful and my mom would have loved it. Happy to have the few photos that others shared with me. I felt the price was very reasonable, especially given the want of flowers out of season and short notice! The store itself is amazing and I have been back numerous times for cards, jewelry and more!
