My sisters and I were very disappointed with the Mother's Day bouquet we ordered for $60 plus a tip and delivery equaling about $100. The arrangement delivered was significantly smaller than what was shown on the website -- about half the size of the advertised photo. We understand substitutions can happen, but the overall size and value did not match what we paid. For a local delivery in the same town, we expected better consistency. We wanted this to be a special gift for our mom unfortunately, it fell short. We hope the shop considers improving consistency between their website, photos, and actual arrangements delivered. I don't think I'll be getting any arrangements from these folks again. I mean they were pleasant enough on the phone, and the arrangement was pretty. Even though when I saw it in real life it was much smaller than what I expected when I saw it on the website. I guess it really is more the thought that counts the most to surprise those you care about. I wasn't very excited about being overcharged by $10.00 when the price was discussed before the arrangement was even ordered. I only found out a week later when I was going over my bank statement. I'm not going to stress over $10.00 but it is kinda whack. :-( I tried calling, but nobody answered to resolve that. read more

I just received a beautiful Ivy plant in the most gorgeous planter that has wonderful butterfly decor. My mother in law passed away and my Mom called Adelaide because she couldn't find any chains that would send to Templeton, so she googled local florists. She's not internet savvy and doesn't trust anyone with her credit cards. Danielle took amazing care of her and made her feel safe and confident on what to send me. Danielle...I LOVE IT! Last minute planning for my wedding two days ago, I called around for a bouquet. I live in Atascadero so I wanted some place local. I'm so glad I found Adelaide. Not only did they have the colors I wanted, which was teal/blue and purple, but they were willing to arrange a bouquet and a boutinniere with only 5 days notice. Whoa. I stopped in to order flowers to be sent to a friend/former employee in L.A. Complete disorganization. A young lady helped (relative? who didn't know much) and had me almost checked out, then the owner (?) came over and added a bunch of new fees to the bill. I have been a customer of Adelaide Floral for almost 5 years. My husband loves to surprise me almost every birthday, Valentines Day, and our Anniversary. I live here in Templeton and have received the most gorgeous flower arrangements on every occasion. The flower arrangements are always bursting with color and the flowers and greens are always fresh, beautiful, and last a long time. I always appreciate the expertise and care put in to every flower arrangement I've ever had from Adelaide. I have seen other arrangements for coworkers birthdays, etc as well. Every time I see arrangements from Adelaide they are the most gorgeous and breathtaking flowers I have ever seen! Recently my husband surprised me with flowers on the day we found out we were having a baby girl. It's fun to celebrate with flowers for such memorable occasions. Again, as always, the flowers were beautiful and bursting with color and fragrance. I love Adelaide Floral so much that I recently did my baby registry at their children's clothing store, Adelaide's Kid Corner. All of the clothing is well made and adorable. I received a dozen roses priced over a hundred dollars. Roses were old, stuck in a tiny vase in the ugliest arrangement I have ever seen.

What a hidden gem! This is a delightful little shop, full of gifts and cheer, not just floral arrangements. Plus they now have a kids store across their patio. It is filled with wonderful and unique children's items. Nice nice nice! I will certainly shop at both stores again. read more

I received flowers for Mother's Day late on Saturday. The roses lasted one day, and the rest of the flowers only 4 days. When I went to change the water after 2 days, it was totally smelly and brown. I suspect the flowers had been made up several days before and when the call came in from my daughter-in-law, they grabbed them from the refrigerator and delivered them to me. The stems had black spots on them also. We walk past the business everyday and it looks very untidy and needs some TLC. I asked my daughter-in-law not to use them for flowers in the future and I am asking anyone reading this review to do the same. read more
