Since moving to Paso Robles, Country Florist has been my go to florist for all my arrangement needs. Okay, I'll be honest, I have bought flowers at Albertson's in a pinch... when CF isn't open for I forgot to place an order with them. What I do like it the option for how much you want to spend, usually there are three options; standard, deluxe and premium. I've even used the designer's selection when I wanted something special but not roses... again! Most all of my orders are made online and I've set up specific dates to trigger an email to me as a reminder. Their service and selection is wonderful. They have contacted me in the past to clarify orders and arrangements and have made flower delivery to the house very easy. It's got the point that I will return the vases the arrangement come in because we end up with too many at the house and I know CF can reuse them. I've stopped by the shop one year for rose petals to write a message on a king size bed, CF had me covered. They do have lots of knick knacks and gifts in the shop with arrangements in the cold storage. Great place for all your floral arrangement needs. Because we always need a little aloha... Julie was so helpful. I came in on a Monday and needed flowers for my mom's memorial service the following Saturday. We wanted the flowers to be Hawaiian themed and had specific ideas of what type of displays we wanted. She worked with me to confirm if she would be able to get the flowers we wanted on such late notice. What really impressed me was first - her compassion for our loss; second - her honesty about what flowers were and were not available (January in Paso Robles); and, lastly - her willingness and creativity in helping us realize our vision. My only regret is that I did not take close up photos at the service! It was beautiful and my mom would have loved it. Happy to have the few photos that others shared with me. I felt the price was very reasonable, especially given the want of flowers out of season and short notice! My daughter is getting married in 3 days. The supplier for white roses gave them to someone else. Panicked, I contacted Country Florist. I know why they have 5 stars! We are about 300 miles from Paso Robles. I called the Country Florist and spoke with the nicest young lady. I'm sorry I didn't get her name, she was lovely! I have to say that the arrangement was beautiful and that they did a great job for the $200 I spent. However, I was quite a bit disappointed that they ruined the surprise by calling ahead for delivery. I completely understand that they want to make sure that they don't have to leave the flowers outdoors to die in the heat, but when you send flowers you want the person to be surprised. I had them delivered today because I knew she'd be home all day preparing to celebrate with family. I didn't think I'd have to specify "don't call ahead and ruin the surprise." I'm pretty bummed. And when I called and spoke to Brooke, she apologized and brought up the heat and said she'd add a few extra flowers, which is nice, but doesn't make up for spoiling the entire reason I had them sent in the first place. read more

The absolute cutest gift / decor / flower shop in all of Paso! (OK, I haven't been to many in the area, but this one is really awesome!) Local made gifts, unique gifts, yard decorations, wall decorations, unique socks, super cozy socks, kitchen items, jewelry, holiday decor... I honestly can't consolidate all the things that we saw, touched, and oooo'ed and awww'ed over. $150 later, we got the flowers that we came in for and soooo much more!!!! For any special occasion, this is my go-to florist. I'm always greeted happily by phone or in person by the owner, Kay, or her helper (sorry, forgot her name).
