I can't even begin to explain how perfect Tami is. I had an "idea" of a budget in mind, and reached out to multiple florists in the Paso Robles area for our destination wedding. I had no idea how much flowers cost, but I had an idea of what I wanted to spend. Everyone was astronomical. And then one day I found Tami, and my first thought was, "this is too good to be true". It's true! I'm so glad I found her. She had the exact package I wanted. She was incredibly easy to work with. I'm not the kind of bride who knows all the types of flowers by heart. I knew peonies, and I sent her pictures. She helped me find good alternatives since they're such a seasonal flower. She helped me build an amazing package. I was a little nervous not having any idea what my bouquet was going to look like (I blame my A-type personality), and Tami showed up the morning of while we were getting dressed and wow... she nailed it. The bouquet was absolutely stunning and complimented my blush dress to the T. She knows what she's doing. She is incredibly sweet and goes above and beyond for her clients. We live in the San Fran Bay so we never met with her (heck, we never even had a phone call!). We did everything via email. Now if I can just get her found on Google Search & Maps so other brides from out of the area can find her, my mission will be complete. Tami is absolutely wonderful!! Like other people have mentioned, other florists in the area have ridiculous minimums for floral packages. We were getting married at a winery, (in May!)and we did not want (or need) to spend that much money on flowers. I was so happy when our coordinator found Tami, she's super sweet and has a wonderful eye at making your visions come to life. She's also more than happy to work with (and make the most out of) your budget! We booked Tami a year in advance, and although we live in LA she made it super easy to communicate and submit payments/contracts via email/mail. She was also available via phone/text whenever I needed (especially those last minute panic :)) I definitely recommend Fleur to anyone in the area. If you can afford it, I also recommend springing for the full day service. She comes, sets up EVERYTHING and you can just sit back and relax (or worry about everything else haha). Tami from Fleur Flowers is amazing. She designed, delivered, and assembled all of the floral arrangements for our wedding at Holland Ranch last Saturday. We were beyond thrilled with how everything looked. Tami is a true artist when it comes to working with flowers. She was able to turn our ideas into reality without any issues. The bridal bouquet incorporated all of the special elements I had requested during our initial consultation, such as Lily of the Valley, anemones, scabiosa pods, succulents, variegated kale, and my Grandma's charm and Grandpa's handkerchief. The groom and groomsmen's bout's were really whimsical, with succulents and rosemary. We were so impressed by how thorough and attentive to details Tami was, and how available she made herself throughout the wedding planning process. Our guests raved about the fresh and creative centerpieces at each of their tables, and it was awesome that she made each one a little bit different. Tami did a truly beautiful job on the flowers for my recent wedding in Paso Robles. She took a great deal of time to talk to me about details and flowers. From the beginning of my consultation with her we seemed to be connecting. She is very creative and innovative, which I love. I did not want a cookie-cutter look, and Tami was able to come up with the perfect look for me. She suggested that we incorporate some fruit into the design; an idea that I loved. I had a very small wedding with only 3 guest tables, and we were able to use some borrowed cake plates for the centerpieces, so there was no cost for containers. The cake plates really added to the still-life look and feel of the design. As you can see from the photos, the centerpieces came out beautifully. My bridal bouquet was also exactly what I envisioned, with the same rustic garden-like randomness to the design. Very expensive and she won't give you examples of how the center-piece or the bouquet would look like. You need to ask for as much detail as possible if you want to check this place out. Questions such as how many flowers vs. how many non-flower items in a center-piece or bouquet, how high and how wide (dimension of the center-piece/bouquet), how many color, whether the flowers are fresh that day? are very important or you will get something that you won't like. You need to insist on example of picture of the item. She is nice but don't trust her without spelling everything out (using the above questions and example of the picture of the item). This is what I got for my wedding: 1. The flowers from my bouquet was not fresh so some of them wilted and droopy. 2. The bridesmaid bouquets fell apart after 1-2 hours. 3. Each centerpiece has 1-2 flowers and the rest is green. Also, it looks pretty lame. 3. There are fake flowers in the flower-girls halo. 4. All the vases has little flowers in it. They all look small. Also, all the vendors that she has recommended to me turned to be a disaster after another disaster. Below is the review of the vendors that she has recommended. 1. Cake Cathedral: The cakes taste horrible and the presentation was so ridiculous. We were so lucky to taste and see the presentation before making any decision. We decided not to go with Cake Cathedral. We went with The Cakery which makes the best cakes, cookies, lemon bar, cheesecake bite for our wedding. All of our guests were gushing over the desert table. 2. Strawberry Blonde Salon for Make-up and Hair: The service is nice. The make-up gave my face severe rash and itchiness for several days. The cost is very expensive for Bridal hair and make-up trial run. It is $157.50. Other places only charge $75.00. I decided not to go with Strawberry Blonde Salon for my make-up and hair on my wedding day, but went with http://www.bridalmakeupa.... Rhonda Johnson is the best. She is very talented with great personality. I am Asian so I was so happy that she can do great Asian make-up. She has made me look so beautiful with the make-up and hair. Everyone at the wedding keeps telling me how good I look. My make-up and hair lasted all day and look amazing in my wedding pictures. She was able to accommodate my changes about make-up and hair style at the last minute making me look amazing. I am very happy about her services and would recommend her to anyone. Also, her make-up and hair trial is on $75 which is half of what other places charge. She also did amazing job with my bridesmaid's hair. 3. DJ Johnny Walker: It was a disaster. He could not figure out how to play the music for the ceremony so we were almost 1 hr late. He didn't know how to MC. We have to tell him to everything at every single step. I won't recommend him. 4. Inktree Photography: I am so sad that they missed so many pictures. There were not pictures before the ceremony or during the ceremony of the guest. There are 3 pictures of the wedding party during the ceremony and not whole wedding party was in these pictures. There are so few pictures of guests during the cocktail hour which is between the ceremony and the reception. There is no first dance picture. There are two pictures of guests dancing during dance hours. I am so upset that I didn't know what to say. I will not recommend them. read more

I found Tami when I was searching online for a florist for my friends wedding. I was one of her bridesmaids and I was also helping her pay for the flower arrangements. This is our experience with Tami... Tami seems to have two personalities. The first one you will see is the nice, friendly, and congratulatory Tami that wants to work with you. The second Tami comes out after you have sign a contract and given her a down payment. She suddenly has a horrible attitude, very cutting, and unprofessional. Very difficult to talk to her on the phone. She doesn't have PayPal or any other form of payment, only checks send by mail! (It's 2015!), she wants you to mail the contract because she has difficulty opening Word documents, or scan items! Not to mention that she made my friend cry when she told her that she didn't even know if she wanted to do her wedding anymore. That was 1 month away from the wedding day!! She already had $600 down payment, but said she still needed more money to order the flowers. She offers little suggestions when asked (my friend and her now husband had to remind her they have never planned a wedding before and this was their first time getting married!). Even the wedding coordinator at Ragged Point Inn told me that she would never recommend Tami to her customers. The wedding coordinator couldn't find the boutonnières for the guys because Tami put them in the fridge, in a dark to go food container without telling anyone!!!! (They were found after the ceremony had finished, just on time for the pictures) Horrible!!! This is what I can remember right now. Overall working with Tami was horrible! Very disappointing. Everything else about the wedding was beautiful but dealing with Tami was Horrible. Please avoid more stress when planning your wedding or any event and DONT hire Tami! read more

She was funny, out-going and so knowledgeable about what flowers that were in-season and their price range. We started by going through a flower book, where she would write down the flowers that struck my fancy. The main flowers that I wanted were carnations (my family flower) and she incorporated them into all my flower arrangements and even my cake. We contracted with Fleur to do the flowers for our wedding last summer, and couldn't be more pleased with our experience! We feel really lucky to have found Tami. Many of the florists we contacted had outrageous minimum budgets and even seemed insulted at the suggestion of a more modest floral package. Well forgive me for not having $2500 (minimum!) at my disposal to spend on flowers! Tami on the other hand, had no minimum, respected the budget we had allotted, and never pressured us to spend more, or make us feel bad for not having more to spend. We had only a few rough ideas and little knowledge of flowers, and Tami did a great job of working with us to figure out what we liked and wanted, and offered great ideas. She was super responsive any time we had questions, and was flexible with last-minute changes we made. All of this is, of course, in addition to the beautiful floral arrangements she created! Tami was a pleasure to work with from the very beginning. She was very responsive and very helpful with all of the revisions needed on the proposal. I changed my mind two or three times due to pricing limitations on my end. She was able to provide alternative options to the flowers I originaly chose, which would have ultimately blown my flower budget out of the water. While helping me to stay within budget. I'm a visual person, so I asked Tami to provide photos and deatiled explanations of her ideas to help me with my vision and stay within budget. She did so and helped me to see the overall picture and to feel good about the combiniation of flowers chosen (some mine and some hers). Although I chose to do my flowers myself in the end (with the help of my mother and mother-in-law), it had nothing to do with Tami or her services. We hired Tami for our wedding last month and the flowers were beautiful. I was on a strict budget and Tami gave great advice for choosing beautiful flowers without blowing my budget. The bouquets were absolutely beautiful! My husband made all of the wooden centerpiece boxes and I provided the single stem vases. Tami was totally fine with having us provide those pieces and the flowers selected for the centerpieces were perfect. I wanted some texture and Tami had great suggestions for what type of flowers/greenery would be the best fit. The only criticism I have is the drop off fee, my venue was 5miles from her shop and I just wanted her to drop everything off because my coordinator would set everything up later in the day. The fee was $150 to drop off the flowers, which seems a little steep to me. Other than that everything turned out great! read more
