My family stayed in Morro Bay for the memorial of our mother. I found Harbor Floral online as I live outside of California and placed the original order with Shirley. I called a week later to confirm delivery details and spoke with the owner, Lara. She was very thorough in the review of what I wanted and asked questions about our mother so she could incorporate it into the arrangements. She went beyond expectations when she delivered them. My sister's statement when she saw the bouquet of roses for the memorial was "Those roses were mom's favorite color. She would of loved them." Lara definitely channeled our mother because I didn't even mention a color to Lara. The arrangements were stunning and the house smelled amazing, as well as providing a sense of our mom's presence. Communication was great and I appreciated their willingness to deal with a multiple people to arrange the delivery. The only snafu was my original contact through the website didn't go through but once I called, everything went smoothly. First, I think Harbor Floral has moved recently to 868 Napa Ave in Morro Bay. Harbor Floral was the florist for our wedding. We found Lara to be incredibly professional and easy to work with. She was knowledgable and helpful whenever we had any questions about either flowers or about weddings and other local wedding vendors. We met Lara at the Wedding Expo at Madonna Inn and called to meet with her. Her consultation was great: we never felt rushed and she knew how to help us narrow down our likes/dislikes. Truthfully, while I enjoy flowers - I'm not really into flowers (I think my husband knows more about flower types than I do) so I really had no flower preferences going into the process other than I know what type of bouquet my eye likes. I was glad she was able to help us narrow down ideas with various look-books and questions. Our bouquets and floral decorations turned out gorgeous! There were no issues the day of or before. It happened our wedding was the same day as the Wedding Expo and it didn't affect the level of service that she provided in any way. She was available and made sure everything was done right. I'd be happy to recommend Lara to any bride. She has a unique style that results in (what I think are) gorgeous bouquets and centerpieces! She made the cutest flower headband for our flowergirl, too!
