We used Nikki at Fluidbloom for our daughters May wedding at Dana Powers house and barn in Nipomo. Flowers truly don't get much better! Nikki is such an artist, and was able to take my daughter's ideas and create some of the most beautiful bouquets and centerpieces I have seen. We purchased two antique doors to use for the wedding alter, and left it to NIkki to adorn them as she saw fit. The results were amazing. So many of our guests commented on the doors and the flowers. Before the wedding, the buzz was, "Have you seen the doors????!!!" I have planned several weddings and am very picky about florists. Since I don't live in the area, I knew finding the right florist would be critical and possibly difficult. I love flowers and chose Fluidbloom only after seeing her creations and creativity at work. Was in SLO to visit my recently engaged daughter. My mom wanted to give her a check for her honeymoon airfare, but didn't just want to put the check in an envelope and give it to them. So I bought a little airplane, and gave it to Fluid Blooms along with the envelope with the check in it. They made a tropical arrangement and accommodated the airplane into the design. It was so cute! The second time I used them they made a sympathy bouquet for a dear friend who had just lost her beloved grandmother. I asked if they had peonies, and they said no, but given my emotional distress, they apparently went out and got some. The arrangement was incredible. I feel that they gave me more than my money's worth because of the situation, but how kind of them to consider that! I never use FTD, because you don't know what you'll get. Because I'm out of town, I'll always trust Fluid Bloom with all my SLO flower orders for all the people I care for there. read more

Nikki will do whatever it takes to make your dream wedding come true. I had been calling florists all over SLO for months, all four meetings went the same way. I'd call, they would call me back, we would set up a time to talk, they'd spend 1 hour going over every detail of my wedding, they would tell me that they would deliver a quote, and then I would never hear from them again. When I first met with Nikki, I explained what had been happening, and she assured me that I would not be in the same situation with her. She was right. She went over all the details of my wedding, and to my surprise she actually delivered a quote, and her pricing was very reasonable! But there is much more to how amazing she is. My wedding was a little offbeat. It was centered around mathematics, astronomy, and carnivorous plants. She did not shun any of these offbeat ideas, but she only accentuated the concept. She brought her creativity full force and came up with some pretty amazing concepts that I had never seen done at any other wedding. She is definitely much more than a florist, I would almost classify her as a creative genius! On top of all of this, she is professional and on time. One of my favorite things she did for me was label all of the boutonnieres and corsages so that it was very easy to make sure that those people who should have flowers for the ceremony actually ended up with them. when its your wedding day, and you are having your hair and makeup done, the last thing you will be thinking about is who gets what boutonniere.
