Well, the customer service was terrible, especially considering the prices. The clerk appeared unhappy to be at work and did not make us feel welcome. My friend was uncomfortable when the clerk followed her around, rearranging the clothing after my friend had touched it. I recommend that the owners provide additional customer-service training, as this type of experience may cause them to lose opportunities to earn business. read more

I cannot say enough good things about this store. When you walk in, you immediately start to notice all of the beautiful decor and details. The way it is merchandised and decorated inside is incredible. The owner, Camilla is there often and does all of this herself. She has such an amazing eye for display, textures, fabrics, and quality. The variety of brands she has is great and I feel like there is something for you no matter your age. She has THE BEST selection of baby goodies ranging from clothing, toys, room decor, books, locally made baby clothing, and so much more. I truly enjoy the experience every time I shop here. Beware of walking in this store. Especially if you are clumsy or have children because the owner does not understand accidents happen. I spilled my tea and I was totally mortified but all she could say is , that's why we don't allow drinks in here . Not accidents happen. I felt horrible, so I offered to pay for the purse. Obviously this owner isn't about her clients because she said yes , yes that will be great. Well how is this great for me , I paid for $140 purse, which I don't have the funds for and do you see coffee stains nope , she could have marked this down and still sold it. I decided to write this because of the "measures" that are "being enforced" today due to Individuals NOT COMPLYING TO C-19! We went to downtown Paso Robles Sunday because it was beautiful out and yes we just needed to "get out".....We visited many of the business establishment...which where very busy so happy to see.... All the business we had gone into... All the "Owners and Staff" had their designer mask on...and the "mask policy" was enforced..in these business "The General Store", Firefly", "The Antique Shops", Art Gallery", Restaurants, The Wine Tasting rooms".... So to my "surprise" when we went into "BiJou"....I was surprise to see that the Owner had no mask on...nor was the "Mask Policy" enforced as women in the shop had no mask on!....I thought Huh! We just did not pop in and then out..we looked around for awhile! Nobody likes wearing mask... believe me....I fly and have to wear a mask up to 14 hrs a day or longer depending if delays..... the minute I step foot on the elevator, going thru the airport, on the plane to reverse! I "Hate" it period...I hated not seeing faces, smiles, talking/interacting to people , my lip stick, etc.....BUT....if we need to combat this C-19..then We ALL need to work together.... and wear our mask There is "no excuse" That " Business Owner" should have had a cute designer mask on and enforcing the mask policy! "They are not exempt period! Believe me I have heard "all the medical excuse" I have been flying longer then this business that has reopen due to C-19.... The reason I am writing this is to tell Her to wake up and follow the rules...It is people like you that we are now going into another Wave!....WE ARE ALL TRIED OF THIS,,,BUSINESS ARE TRYING TO SURVIVE......FOLLOW THE RULES...YOU ARE NOT EXEMPTED! read more

When we went into the store we saw sale signs all over the store. We ask and were told that all baby and adult clothing was 30% off. I ask about a blanket and was told that was an accessory and was not included in the discount. That seemed totally fair. Decided to get it and a baby night gown with a matching hat. The lady knew we were shopping the sale as we ask about several items but when the sleep night gown rang up $42 with no discount she did not mention that to me. I scanned my card and was told the price once she handed me the receipt. I stepped to the side as there were two other people who were waiting behind me. Once I saw the night gown was not discounted I got back in line. The lady told me that the sleep gown was an accessory. It is not an accessory but I could not convince her. Told her that I wanted to return it and she informed me you could not return sale items. I informed her that was the problem. She then told me I could have store credit. I do not live in the area and was tired of the whole process. I had not even left the store and still could not return something. I have learned that I need to take more time and make sure I know the amount and the price of the items. Her cash register did not display either. As I left she told me they only seemed difficult but they really were not. Really if you have to say that then you are difficult. read more

Horrible customer service. My 12 year old daughter decided to spend her own hard earned money to purchase a jumpsuit from Camilla, the owner. When we got home, we realized she gave us a different one than she tried on in the store, and unfortunately this one had 2 major issues. The back was sewn on the front so the tag was in the front. Also, the back was very badly bunched and the elastic was sewn wrong. We live 45 minutes away and the store was closed, so I called the store the next day to let her know about the issue. She advised me to mail it back to her and she would send me a new one when she received it. I spent $7 of my own money to mail the faulty jumpsuit back, even though most stores would send a shipping label. Took me about 6 days to get it mailed because life is busy. I advised her that I would like a refund instead of an exchange, because for a high end item to be priced that high and have such a lack of quality control is not a good sign. I received a package a few days later with a new jumpsuit and a letter that stated that refunds are not allowed. No phone call first, no apology for the faulty item, no acknowledgement that I paid for the shipping to send it back. When I called her to advise that I was not ok with this, she was extremely defensive and rude, and ended up hanging up on me. No offer to fix this situation in any way.
