I've seen this place many times but never stopped. Man have I been missing out!! They were super friendly, had dog treats my dog actually ate (that's amazing all by itself!) and my order was ready super fast. I had an iced green tea and the chicken salad croissant. The tea was great, clearly freshly made. The croissant sandwich was amazing, lots of yummy things like nuts and cranberries inside the croissant with some fresh spinach. It was easy to eat on the road and tasted so much better than your basic drive through food! I think I have a new fav lunch spot in sequim!! read more

Stopped in for 2 lattes via the drive through on Saturday. They were crazy hot, which is a mild annoyance but not a biggie - just had to wait 10 min to sip on them. But the flavor of the coffee was meh. I mean, I drank it, it wasn't awful, but it was a step down from good. My wife felt the same about her drink. This was only 1 visit, so maybe just a bad stop, but I'd say a small step down from Starbucks. If you are from the city and used to [Ladro/Zoka/Cherry St/Rococo/Herkimer], this is a significant step down. read more

Sigh. An iced chai latte here is 99% ice; 1% chai. This has happened so often, that even though I want to support local peninsula businesses, I won't go to Adagio any longer. Tried one last time, today, and pleaded for "low, or very little ice...even if it costs a bit more." That was ignored. Once again, 99% ice; 1% chai. $6.00 for a large cup of ice, just isn't fair, for customers. A ripoff! read more

This place made me want to open my own coffee house. Adorable and quaint inside with outdoor seating as well. The iced coffee rivals big name coffee establishments. They were busy, but acknowledged us and you could tell we're trying to balance treating all customers with care. There is a drive-through window for convenience. There's also a location in the shop to add your own creamer or sugar - if you so desire. While that prep area is tiny, it worked for its purpose. The employees seemed happy and the customers relaxed. I also got an iced vanilla chai tea with almond milk. Both were amazing. The inside area was cute and cozy. There's also outdoor patio seating and drive thru windows. Food was consistently of high quality (w/ingredients all labeled) and the interior ambiance bordered on stunning --- don't miss the bathroom! ;-) Prices are unmarked and are a bit high ($6 for a croissant sandwich & $2-$3 per pastry). I am absolutely in love with this place!! I get my 16oz spicy chai tea latte with extra foam and cinnamon sprinkled atop almost everyday and if I don't get it, I'm craving it until the next time I can get it from this place specifically. I've has other drinks from there, espresso &teas and everything is amazing! They have special mixes for almost everything and their goodies are delicious every time! I highly recommend the chai and/or carrot cake if you go there. Also the staff is attentive and friendly. The place itself reminds me of a little elfin cottage and the inside is nicely decorated with room for a small group to rent out to have a meeting or a get-together. One of the best in town. The coffee here is not my favorite, but they do make a killer good Chi Latte and Matte Latte that is awesome hot or child. I have visited maybe 50 times and only had a bad drink once, the rest have been a consistent 4 star experience. They also make both lunch and breakfast sandwiches which are very good. Only one downside; the prices are reflective of Starbucks as is the coffee quality (this observation can be taken either way dependent on your opinion of Starbucks). The dining area is the best part, a really high end and cozy ambiance with a chess table and a privet room of to one side, the restrooms are also the best I have ever seen. Stopped in for the first time while visiting Sequim over the 4th of July holiday (2013). Latte was great - but the atmosphere even better. If I lived up here this would be my sit-down and catch-up with a friend place! Decor is warm and rich with dark woods - and nice big chunky chairs and tables. Choose from comfy nooks or outdoor seating. Loved it - they have Almond milk (yay!) ...hope they'll consider Hemp Milk in the future (it tastes better than almond in lattes in my humble opinion). Not sure how long it will be there, but check out the look for the giant sand castle in the field next store (the artist was working on it while we were there!) read more

I would not have expected such a lovely or spacious interior of what appears to be a large coffee stand. Thank goodness for online reviews. I got the Berry Chicken Salad, it looked good in its little clamshell container in the case. I was pleasantly surprised when they served me at a table and that salad had been tossed up in dressing (just the right amount) and placed on a real paste with a real (metal) fork. I was expecting to eat out of the plastic container with a plastic fork. The salad was amazing, big chunks of feta, fresh lettuces, generous candied pecans, and good chicken with no gristle. The dressing is perfect, not to sweet or acidic. The service was great and atmosphere was wonderful. I felt like is found a secret library to have lunch in, with all the solid wood furniture and classical style. Will definitely be going back. You can "rent" the private tea room for 2 hours by buying a $25 gift card. read more

I've been going here for about 3 years now... at first I was impressed by the drinks, but then they started to get inconsistent. I rarely get a blended drink that tastes the same twice (which sucks cause they are expensive). I don't get how the barista can have 8-12 ounces left of drink in the blender and not understand that the drink is gonna taste diluted! If made correctly, the blender should be empty. (former barista) Also, when asking for no foam on a mocha, I'm told "we never put foam on mochas." Well, there is still foam -every time -and lots of it. Overall, service is usually friendly and drinks are good half the time. Wait time is usually okay unless people are ordering food. read more
