I've moved 6 times in 8 years, and Acworth Advantage is the BEST experience I've ever had. So good, in fact, that we've used them twice. I reached out to this company to get a quote as my husband and I are needing to move in a hurry. I put in a request over their website, and was contacted back around 3:45 to 4pm that day. I was busy at the time, saw they called, but had already made arrangements with another mover. I simply forgot to respond to them. I then receive another call and text from this same company at 9:30 AT NIGHT. I work very early mornings, and was already in bed. I simply responded that we no longer needed their services, and that is when the berating started. I asked them to please not contact me again, to which I continued to receive texts. This company has lost a lot of respect from me. I try to use local people to support the economy, but responses like the one I received do not make me very proud to live here. read more

Rich and his team are simply amazing. I contacted Rich from a referral, and had a great experience from beginning to end. He was professional, thorough and his guys worked their tails off for over 9 hours straight in the heat with not one complaint. Then they returned the next day and did it all over again to move me INTO the next house. The young men on his crew were respectful of my property and polite. I had several antiques and heirloom pieces that they took special care with, and that made the move without damage. They even instructed me to purchase felt pads for the feet of all the furniture being placed on hardwood floors, and installed them as they moved the pieces into the house so my floors would not get scratched. These guys made an extremely difficult and stressful move so much easier on me and my family. I could not have asked for a better experience. We were downsizing into a significantly smaller home and it's difficult because you think you got rid of enough stuff, but you get to the new place and realize you did not!! They were so patient with last minute changes to furniture placement. My move ---- 5,600 square feet, 3 story home My mother moved her items from the basement apartment in the first phase. She could not stop talking about how conscientious Rich and his crew were with her belongings. One week later, my move from the upper two floors of the home + a very full garage and shed. 5 crew members, 2 trucks, 9+ hours. The move into the next house took another 6 hours, 4 crew members. NOTE: other movers I got quotes from were reluctant to hook up appliances, assemble/disassemble furniture, etc. When Rich left, all of my beds were reassembled, and washer/dryer operational. My husband and I wanted to downsize our home after 3 of our 7 children left for college. This was a major move! I got quite a few quotes and after meeting with Jason and Rich, I went with their company. This is the best, most organized group of men I have ever dealt with. The Good I contacted a few moving companies with high ratings to move some furniture for me. Acworth Advantage responded to me via text on a Saturday night wanting my business. I usually don't use someone with only a handful of reviews but they were prompt and nice. I had a consultation in which I showed the owner what I wanted done. I was giving a price and assurance they could perform the job. On move day the movers showed up promptly. The Bad Several hours of trying led to damage to walls and baseboards that were freshly repaired/painted and hardwood floors that were freshly finished. Then they told me the furniture would not fit through the doors. They put everything back where it was when they arrived and assured me they would take care of the damage. The Ugly Numerous email exchanges were made over the next several months with assurances the damage would be taken care of. Nobody ever showed up and the company no longer responds to my messages. Acworth Advantage Movers are prompt to get your business but just hope they don't damage anything. They damaged my property before thanksgiving 2017 and it is now May 2018. I finally contacted an attorney and will also report this to BBB after this review. Thank goodness I have all of the messages preserved. Buyer Beware. We found Rich and his crew based on a referral. We recently did a cross state move into an apartment while we searched for a house in the area. Rich, Terry, Steven, and Malcolm helped us move twice - they did such an amazing job moving our storage unit into the basement of our new home while we renovated the house that we hired them again to move the rest of our belongings into our house 2 months later. We were blown away by the level of professionalism and attention to detail they showed. The crew remembered all 3 of my kids names and allowed them to feel like they were part of the move by letting them help out. The furniture was delivered without a scratch. The guys even helped us move a new fridge into the kitchen and helped my husband hang a TV above the mantle. I can't recommend Rich and his crew enough! read more

If you value your property then chose another company. I wrote an exceptional review trusting the company would replace the broken Samsung TV that they broke during my move. They replaced the TV with a no brand less than 200 hundred dollar tv. They are quick to grab your business, but when it comes to replacing a damaged item, they will get out of it by not keeping their word and going cheap on you. To start off, Acworth Advantage Movers saves the day. We initially booked All my sons moving, boyyyyyy was that a mistake. The communication and scheduling was barely there and they hardly gave a straight forward response. We were booked for an "afternoon" move and it was 3:45 and not one call was received. I made one call to Acworth Advantage Movers at 4 o'clock and to a great surprise. They were on the way with amazing service within minutes. Rich and Al were the movers that saved our day, these guys are pros in the business. I will forever highly recommend this group to anybody. They treat you like they were moving their own family.
