I wasn't going to post this but if you actually sort reviews and don't just look at the top good…read moreones you'll see a lot of the same. Customer service. Old food. Lack in quality. I've mentioned in previous reviews that this location is not my favorite, I still prefer the Warminster location and that was true until I had gone recently and they moved their bakery. We had spoke to others as well who live closer to doylestown but still go to Warminster because it's just better. Maybe I'll go to Warminster when I'm in a pickle but overall I think I am done with the altomontes store. It's sad to say but this once great small business is falling and I know it will still continue to pull all the doylestown locals with $ to burn. So if you're happy serving lesser quality at exuberant costs to keep this inflated mecca Italian wonderland - so be it. But the heart of this business and the quality that Mike started is no longer. You guys really need to start paying attention to your business and stop trying to keep grow grow growing and doing all of the stuff on social media if you're not going to invest in the business and quality of what you already have. Got overcharged for pasta that literally had prices posted over all the aisles by $1 a box which sure isn't a lot but it adds up. Especially when people are budgeting and buying things by a cost. And if you're doing that to me then how many other people? Just go change your signs if you're increasing costs! They also don't have the same desserts here that they do at their alto cafe which was sad to see. I also don't appreciate how the ordering has changed. As others have mentioned too the deli counter isn't nice and they don't want to cut you fresh items. I also was directed to the pre cut deli case when I just wanted fresh cut meat. I'm just tired of spending my good hard $ at a "small business" that isn't so small any more. And forget about the quality too - I know I've posted before but the quality is not what it used to be. It's obvious they care about the bottom line then making a good product. The specials are aborrhent as others have mentioned - which as I've posted in reviews is especially sad because you see a photo of the product online and get something that doesn't even resemble the item you ordered. Its a shame that all these changes are taking away the quality and what many people loved. Sometimes it's not always best to expand and shift the business to be trendy and social media centric. Sometimes it's better to stay small and true to the original quality rather than being out of touch from the people that have quite literally helped you build your business.

Nice and homie. The market is nice, it has an elegant feel to it. If I'm ever in the area again I'd like try to the pizza!! It looked and smelled delicious.

It reminds me of the good ol' days when businesses/business owners knew the names of their customers. They know their customers' names! On Sunday, I was leading out a meeting in the gymnasium at Huntingdon Valley Christian Academy and needed to provide lunch. I let New Village know ahead of time the big order we would need and once again they delivered. We picked up 10 hot, delicious, and fresh giant pizzas for our gathering and before I knew it there were a few slices left of the plain, a few more of the pineapple, but only one of the tomato pie! The people loved their lunch from New Village AND although of the10 pies ordered, 3 were (garden) vegetable, not one slice was left and people were upset that they didn't get any and that I didn't order more vegetable pizzas :) Many were amazed at how fresh and plump the vegetables were! The group got to taste firsthand what I believe, and that is New Village Pizza is the best in town!

I saw reviews for New Village Pizza and Grill and I said to myself there is no way that the pizza is this good. Of course, I had to find out for myself and see if those 4.7 stars was legit instead of living vicariously through the Yelp reviews and pictures. Ordering is pretty easy through their site and I went with a small mushroom, pepperoni, sausage, and extra cheese pie along with some wings. Ok, the reviews were correct. The pizza was very good. Pizza is subjective and different flavors are preferred all over, but I think this will hit the spot for any pizza lovers. It was a nice buttery crust but not greasy and so glad there was an even amount of ingredients. At times you get way more of one ingredient than the rest and there is just an imbalance in the flavor like they have an overstock of one ingredient they need to get rid of. The wings were ok but wish they had a bit more kick in the buffalo sauce. When looking at the menu this place has it all. When I say all, I am talking about burgers, grinders (hoagies), pasta, seafood, quesadillas, chicken sandwiches, gyros, and I am sure if you ask for something not on the menu they can hook it up for you. If in the area again I will be partaking on another trip and stopping there again. A solid four stars.

First time trying Silvio's as I have a grown kid moving in practically across the street. The place…read moreseems like it is exactly what you would expect from the outside. They serve pizza and a range of sandwiches and sides--looks like they even have pizza by the slice, at least for lunch. I was definitely interested. But we ordered breakfast online, so I picked up 2 of their smaller sized breakfast sandwiches. And I'm really glad we picked the smaller size because they were huge. I had an egg and cheese and it was near perfect. There must have been 4 eggs in that sandwich--all cooked thin and folded. The white American cheese was perfectly melted. And the bread was warm and chewy. I'm making myself hungry for it again as I'm writing this review. My kid had the bacon, egg, and cheese and was likewise impressed. And once they like a place, they will be back on the regular. And this is the kind of place that looks like it draws regulars. I'd like to try more of their range of options. The egg and cheese sandwich choice is usually nothing special, but given how much I enjoyed the half of that simple sandwich that I managed to eat, I'm guessing they do other things well, too. It's always a good sign to me when a place is nailing the basics. So, like my routine-loving child, I'm sure I'll be back! Also, we picked up the sandwiches, walked home, then ate them. If they lost any quality during that time, it was unnoticeable. They were still hot enough to need a few minutes to become an edible temperature.

Typical sub shop... you walk in and order at the counter and are greeted with fresh baked bread sitting on shelves behind the register. Staff was friendly and made some solid recommendations while we scanned the menu. Ultimately went with the standard 12" cheese steak. It did take a little longer than I expected to get our food but it was super hot and fresh (so hot I burned by mouth but that's because I couldn't wait to dive in). Good balance of meat and cheese and the bread had a nice pull making it the perfect conduit for the cheese steak. There is no indoor seating so be prepared to take it with you or sit at one of the outside tables in front the ice cream shop. Was later told by the locals that this was a great spot so we made a good choice. If you in this area, make sure you hit up Silvio's!
